4 Chapter Four

Eva just shook her head then she took the taoe measure and she started to measure her size.

"I will try to finish it in four days," Eva said.

"Please Eva, I will use it on Wednesday night," she said,

Then suddenly, the melody of a piano starts to play again.

Hazel suddenly stops from walking and she rolled her eyes.

"Mom, do you hear what I hear?" She asked.

Mila look around.

"I didn't heard anything but the horn of the cars, what are you up to?"

"Mom, a melody of a piano! She is coming!" She mumbled. Her palms sweating in fear.

The melody was continued to play until she put her hands over her ears.

"Hazel, what is wrong with you! Lets go now!" Mila said then she hold her arms and drags her, but Hazel can't budge. Then the melody stops, and she heard the whistle.

"Psssst!" Hazel's body was trembled in fear. And she gradually look back.

And there she saw the statue staring at her.

Hazel tried to scream but no voice was coming out on her mouth, Mila was annoyed on her actions, she slap her on her face. "Hazel! What is going on?" She yelled.

Then Hazel pointed her index finger and situated it from the afar.

Mila look back to see what it was, and when she look back, the statue suddenly disappeared. She sighed. "I didn't see anything! What is the matter with you?!"

Hazel can't speak, Mila held her and they went home.

When they arrived at their house, Hazel was still terrified.

One afternoon…As Hazel and Mia were watching TV in the living room, someone was knocking on the door, Hazel opened it and sees Adel. They went to the yard and sat down on the bench. "Hazel how are you doing?" she asked, "Not good, from the moment we saw the Statue, she was haunting me!" She cried,

"Why the statue was guarding the tree?" Hazel nodded.

"I don't know, even my aunt didn't know it!"

"So why did we go there?"

"I'm so sorry Hazel, I admit it was my fault,"

"If only you listen to me not to go there anymore,"
