90 Chapter 88

"Let's go then." I say, teleporting us to the vault. We arrive near the pod Amber is being kept alive in. I look around and see Ozpin looking a bit sick, and I start laughing. "Well that was disconcerting, suddenly appearing somewhere else. I don't think I could get used to it." She said, not looking good at all. "Well that was one of the better versions of teleportation, if it was apparition, then you would've been sick." I say, thinking that I'll never use that method.

I wait a few minutes for Ozpin to calm her stomach, then we walk towards Amber. I look inside the pod, and it was a lot worse then what was shown in the show. I open the pod, and start healing her. After a few seconds, she is now fully healed, now I just need to give her back her powers. "Let's hope her powers don't reject her." I say, pulling out the container. "Wait, what do you mean her powers rejecting her?" Ozpin asks, with trepidation in her voice.

"It's nothing to worry too much about, just don't distract me." I say, looking back at her. She nods and I turn back, and open the container. After about five minutes, it was finished, and thankfully it was very simple, as there was no unforeseen complications. I clap my hands, and throw the now empty container into my storage. "Alright, all done. She should wake up within the hour." I say, stretching. "So her power's didn't reject her then?" She asked, looking at Amber.

"Luckily no, it was actually happy to be back. Also why did you send Summer to fight Salem?" I ask, thinking of some punishments for the two of them. Ozpin looks shocked, and shakes her head. "When did Summer go to Salem, Wait is that why she disappeared. That idiot, I told her to stay away from her." She said, with a bit of anger in her voice. So she done it of her own volition, and in opposition to Ozpin. "Well, I thought you sent her, but this makes things a lot easier." I say, with a evil smile.

"How does that make things easier, Summer went missing and is presumed dead?" She asked, with a now sad look. "Oh yeah I never told you, but I saved her, and don't worry I'll punish her." I say, thinking of what punishment to deliver. "Well, since I've finally finished, I'll head back. Oh and I'll send Glynda back." I say, looking at her. She nods, and gives me a smile. "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow then, I'll have a room prepared for you to stay in while you teach." She said, then looks back at Amber.

"Also I still think you should at least talk to Salem. I mean she started a war with the brother gods for you." I say, also looking at the unconscious Amber. I wonder how much is different in this world, I'll have to do some research. As I'm lost in thought, I see Ozpin in the corner of my eye, she looks sad, but hopeful. "Well I better be off, Ruby will get annoyed if I'm too late." I say, giving Ozpin a nod. I teleport to the front room, and see Ruby talking to Summer. "I'm back, and Amber is going to be fine." I said, looking at Glynda. She looks happy, so I click my fingers and teleport her back. "Why are you clicking your fingers?" Ruby asked, with a amused smile.

"It became a kinda habit, just a visual aid for when I use magic." I said, with a bit of embarrassment. Ruby starts to walk towards me with a smile, and gives me a hug. "Don't be embarrassed, I think it's cute." She whispered into my ear. I have a massive smile on my face, I hug her tight. After about a minute, I feel a gaze. Looking up, I see Summer looking unhappy. "Have you got a problem?" I ask, a bit pissed off.

"Yeah I do. Who are you, and why are you so close with my daughter?" She asked. Now I'm getting even more pissed, so she is one of those bigots. But just as I'm about to say something, Ruby gets there first. "Who do you think you are? Scarlet not only saved your life, but she saved me too. How dare you even question her, you who ran away to fight something you knew would kill you." She started shouting, and wasn't going to stop yet.

"Your the one who left me, Yang and dad, but you think now your back you can can act like this. I've already told everything, yet you still act like this. Is it because we're dating? I didn't think you'd be such a bigot." Ruby finished, looking at Summer in disgust. Looking shocked, Summer looked at Ruby, who was in front of me.

As she was about to say something, we heard footsteps and Tai, Yang, Velvet and Qrow, all entered the room. "What's wrong sweetheart, we heard you shouting?" He said, looking at Ruby then to Summer. Seeing Ruby so angry, has actually calmed me down. Before Ruby can continue, I place my hand on her head. "It's ok Ruby, now that I've calmed down, I can see she is just overwhelmed. I think she needs to sleep." As I said sleep, Summer fell on the ground snoring.

"Tai can you take her to bed, once she wakes up I'm sure she'll be sorry for her actions. If not, then her punishment will be a lot worse." I said, with a smile. Tai nods and picks up the now sleeping Summer. After a few awkward minutes, Velvet speaks first. "How did the meeting go? And why did you need my last name?" She asked, looking a bit confused. "Well the meeting went better then I could've hoped for." I said, taking Ruby to the sofa.

I tell them everything that I discussed in the meeting, and what I put in the letters I sent. "Well that answers one question, but what about the second one?" Velvet asked, looking at me with a suspecting expression. "That's easy, me and you are not from this world, so I needed your last name." I said, trying to annoy her by not answering her question properly. If looks to kill, I'd be dead so many times.

I send her a telepathic message. 'We are going to be teaching at beacon, and I want it to be a surprise for Ruby and Yang.' After a bit she sighs. "So I'm not going to get a straight answer, Yang let's go to bed." She said, with a small wink at me.
