8 Chapter 6

"Now that you've unpacked, I'll show you to my office, so you can start on your research. And on the weekends you are free to explore Tokyo to you hearts content." Ajuka said as he lead me out of my new room, going towards the elevator again. "Ajuka are there stairs?" I ask hoping for a positive answer.

"What don't you like the elevator? But to answer your question, yes, the stairs are to the left of the elevator. But you have to use the elevator to reach my office." He said with a smile while pointing out the stairs. "I'll get over it in time." I said with a sigh as we wait for the accursed elevator, while Ajuka was stifling a laugh. "Do you have a training room here? And if I find people to join my peerage will I be able to bring them back here?" I ask, while thinking of looking for someone to join my peerage while I'm in the human world.

Ajuka looked at me and said. "You're just full of questions aren't you. Yes there is a training room in B2 and I'll be able to make some concessions for your peerage as long as it's not too many, but you'll have to provide for them yourself." I just nodded as the elevator opened and we got on. Ajuka pressed the last button on the panel, I look at what the button was marked with. I wonder if that R is what I think it is. As the elevator comes to a stop and opens, I look around and find I was correct, the R stood for roof. Ajuka starts walking towards a gazebo. "This is my office, well I say office but it's just where I like to relax." He said reaching towards the gazebo door and ushering me inside.

I walk in to find a desk with lot's of documents and a few PC's with different things opened. "So this where I'll be working?" I ask looking at the room taking it all in, I see someone set up a small desk in the corner. "Yes you can use that desk, I'll get some of the basic information about the evil pieces for you to look at." He said as he was grabbing a load of paper's and placed them on my desk. "Thank you." I said smiling thinking one of my tasks was within reach.

I walk to the desk and start reading the notes. Reading though them I find somethings that I know, like the crystal used to make the evil pieces comes from Agreas, Ajuka's territory. And things I don't, like the king piece starts to erode the soul. I was so focused in what I was reading, I didn't realise what the time was until Ajuka told me to go to bed.

So I headed back to my room thinking about all I learned. I wake up bright and early. I get dressed in some casual clothes that the female employees picked out and start making my way to Ajuka's office. I come face to door, with my enemy the elevator. "I will destroy you one day, watch." I said to the elevator, while giving it the evil eyes. (*Why are you picking a fight with an inanimate object?*) Sera asked with a confused tone. ("I just don't like elevators, never have, never will.") I say.

(*But why does it seem like you have a blood feud with it?*) Sera ask still confused. ("Ok I'll tell you, it happed when I was 5 and I was being a bit lazy so instead of going with my mum down the stairs, I went down on the elevator and it got stuck. I was in that thing for hours crying, that was when I swore I would get my revenge on all elevators for the evil they did to me.") I said with a vengeful tone.

And all I can now hear is Sera laughing so hard I thought she might have broke. As the elevator doors open, I step out as the laughter starts calming down. ("It's not funny, I was seriously scared.") I said while deciding to show Sera that memory. While she watches that I head to the gazebo and knock on the door three times and wait.
