Chapter 27

As me and Ruby set off I feel like someone is watching us, I look around and find three boys in the distance. Upon closer inspection I see they are familiar, oh no it's the pervert trio. We have to go right past them as well, just remember, me, don't kill Issei, you can torture him later in the guise of training. Smiling to myself, I grab Ruby's hand and head forwards.

I feel the gazes shift to Ruby and I start getting pissed off. As we walk past, I look at them. "If you three keep staring, I'll rip out your eyes." I said with a smile that didn't reach my eyes. They look at me, saw my expression and ran away. "That was a bit mean, it's not like them staring was hurting us." Ruby said. "If you knew what they were thinking, you'd probably test out Crescent Rose on them." I said, shivering at the thought of what those perverts were thinking.

"Was it really that bad, I just thought they were shocked to see someone as beautiful as you?" Ruby said in an innocent voice. I think I just felt my heart just skipped a beat. I look at her and she just had the usual smile on her face. Calm down, she is just being polite, don't read too much into it. "Yes it is I've met people like them. All they think about is..." I trail off trying to think, how to put it when I hear Ruby say something.

"Oh so they are the sort of people who can only think about sex." Ruby said without any hesitation. I was kinda shocked, but I broke out of that as Ruby started pulling me along. I forgot that we were holding hands, it's just became a habit since I reincarnated. But now I feel a little nervous and start to blush. Ruby looks at me then looks down at our hands, she blushed but tightened her grip and started the leading the way.

We arrive at the place and see an empty bench, so we walk towards it and sit down. "So how was your past life?" Ruby asked with a curious voice. Look down thinking how much I should tell her then decided to tell my whole story.

"Well my family weren't the most accepting of people, especially my father. He wasn't a nice person, well he wasn't so bad until I turned ten. That's when it all went all wrong. He was fired for not serving and trying to punch a gay couple. But his hatred for homosexuals come to a boiling point, when my brother came out. Just so he didn't have to face them, he told them over the phone. My father smashed up his old room, while saying he never had a son."

I look at Ruby to see shock and I continued. "It was around this time I met Sera. We met at a convention and started having a disagreement about which Final Fantasy was better. We traded numbers and found out we lived near each other. We began hanging out everyday, playing games, listening to music and sometimes binge watching a tv series. And one thing led to other and we started dating on Sera's fourteenth birthday. I kept it secret from my parents but Sera's mum and dad was cool with us dating. I stay with her most of the time, we learned how to play guitar, we was also learning how to code so we could make our own game."

I close my eyes and see her smiling face. "It was coming up to Sera's eighteenth birthday and our four year anniversary, we was making plans to go to a concert. But I was stupid and left a picture of me and Sera kissing in my room. And of course my mother found it and showed my father. When I came home I found them sitting in the front room and mother called me in. We had a massive argument and I just left and headed to my room. I started to pack my stuff, when my mother asked me not to leave and that father would get over it."

"She was crying and I couldn't say no to her, so I stayed but still packed my stuff. I laid on my bed and sent a text to Sera telling her about what happened. I asked if I could stay with her, and of course she agreed. I told her that I'd see her in the morning, I went to bed happy. Then nothing I woke up I was five year old devil." I said omitting the part with mother. Ruby was crying at my story, and starts hugging me. "You have had it hard, I can't imagine what you went through." She said hugging tighter.

"It's ok, I now have a family that loves me for me." I said hugging her back.
