The End of a Lineage

Ilzec short POV

As the prince and his men opened fire into the darkness of the room, did they hear screaming, but not that of a monster! For as they approached the dark half of the room, their lanterns on their waist gave off their soft glow to reveal dozens of dead goblin children, but none were killed by tail or claws but by the hail of gunfire!

Visibly disgusted, the prince lowered his weapon, while the men puked on the side!

[diiiid weeee just…] said a random guard

[CAN IT! I don't want to hear it! We're on a mission!] yelled their prince as a red skined monster jumped off the ceiling impaling one of the puking men!

As he died the prince turned and fired on the monster! But as the monster fell to the floor, the prince didn't let up and kept firing at the screaming monster till his head exploded, showering him in acid! And while he burned his other guard was hanging from the ceiling as another monster had wrapped its tail around his neck! The man then fell with a thud as he had a fist size hole in his head!

Now burning and disoriented the prince didn't see the face-hugger as it leaped off the back of a metal looking monster! The prince kicked and struggled as he collapsed onto the cold hard floor!

Breder POV

As Breder spat on the body of the prince as he walked by, he went to go back to the "breeding room" to visit his "new to soon to be queen"! As he walked up to her the red eye elf started to spat curses at him. Annoyed by this bitch constant moving mouth, he threw a face-hugger at her! Her struggling and coughing noises were like music to Breder ears as she finally passed out!

Much to the fear of the other elves in the room! But Breder paid them no mind and looked at the fairy elf and took out a brilliant red shiny egg! And as it opened Breder said

{Don't worry… I'll let the "new you" take revenge on the other Elfs! It's just that bitch was so annoying! I had to take her out myself... And for that I apologize!}

Confused, what he meant because she had no idea what was going on, she stared at the egg till a red armored face-hugger jumped onto her! While the elves were breaking down in tears and dismay, Breder smiled and said to "Collins" who was carrying the body of the prince into the room.

{stay and protect this one with your life! I don't care even if you have to abandon the other two in the process!}

Seeing "Collins' ' assuring node, Breder went on to clean out the other chambers one at a time, well those he could, for there were just too many goblins and trolls even after 90% of them left to go make war with the humans! All per-Breder plans, though he didn't know his plan only worked mainly because Waltin showed up, giving his burning of the food more legitimacy.

Either way there were routes and chambers sealed off with barricades and traps, of course he could easily ram through them with Mirielye, however he already lost all his runners! Of course, Breder knew you can't steal someone's home without sacrifice! He decides to route them out in a few days as he slowly grows his army once Layla finishes her next metamorphosis.

In the meantime, he kept the slave women's alive as he had Elphe force fed them goblin meat! For it was the only edible thing available! While he had "Collin" undergo metamorphosis to become a warrior. And by this time Mr. Black had fully matured into a drone Xeno ready and willing to serve the nest!

Lucky for Breder, Mr. Black kept the ability to go invisible! While attaining this magic core! He only found out that Black could go invisible when he kept sneaking up on Breder scaring him to the point of frustration!

Couple of days later

For the last couple of days Breder had everyone available throwing away tons of "garbage" before they started to stink up the places. Of course, he would catch glimpses of surviving goblins and trolls, but he didn't have time to deal with them. For now, the dead were too numerous to count to the point Breder really regretted killing so many and seriously thought that it would have been better to have just scared them enough to leave!

In fact, he caught a few doing just that, but decided even though he could always use more points, the clean up after wasn't worth it right now, so he had Black "take care" of them! As Black was doing the mop up, Breder watched as Layla just finished laying enough eggs to "impregnate" all the trap slaves!

Final freeform having to feed them, he sat there while petting his new per queen who he named Aria, now why did he name her that, while since he never got her host name, and seeing that she inherited the fairy wings, he thought what normally goes with fairies,

{I know music does} thus he named her Aria

Now while he sat there playing with Aria the Xeno that came out of the red eye elf was overly protective of Aria for some reason and would be very aggressive towards Breder to the point he had to smack her around a few time to show who was in charge, though this behavior made him question how much the "absolute loyalty" perk was really true!

He really did contemplate whether or not to kill it, but ultimately thought it would be better to just use it as cannon fodder, and if it lives, he'll just let it live. Surprisingly the Xeno that came out of the prince was strangely loyal to a fault, though his green outer skin and big bulging muscle were something Breder was a little shocked by!

Sure, the host was a hobgoblin but still, the drone was as big as a warrior and as strong as palatine! He even questioned if it really was a drone or not! Breder surely wish he could have had more like Ilzec, but unfortunately that was easier said than done, after all most of the hobgoblins that stayed behind were either killed my the royal guards or by the three chimeras that for some reason, haven't left the lab once they hunted down every hobgoblin in the cave fortress, it was as if they could actively find or track them.

Thankfully they seemed to ignore the Xenos for some reason, but they get very aggressive if any Xeno gets within a few feet of the lab, for Breder found that out the hard way. When he had Blacky sneak into the lab, only to return with a missing tail and burn marks across his body! Deciding it was better to "leave well enough alone" for now.

Breder thought his time would be better spent evolving into a warrior himself now that everything seemed to be settling down. Sure, there was still about 10% of the fortress not under its full control as the trolls still controlled the blood pools and the church they had built inside, their puny barricade being the only thing giving them some sense of comfort at night. While other goblins hid among shattered halls, holding onto some faints hope their king will save them

He figured he'll go and end them after his evolution and by then all 30 of the slave girls would have given birth to new Xenos just in time for winter! Speaking about winter, Breder can't wait for the goblin king to return… well if he does, for he had a very special "gift" for him upon his return.

Seeing everything in order, Breder ask

{hey vice! I want to evolve into a warrior now! I kind of miss my muscles!}

[Beep… Ok! but I need to remind you, you only have 10,000 points!] said vice

{why so little? Didn't I kill way enough for at least 30k?} questioned Breder

[Beep… Breder Please XD! You killed mainly babies and children! You're lucky you even got that!] responded Vice to the very much displeasure of Breder

{sigh... Well at least evolving into a warrior only cost around 800 points right} replied Breder

[Beep…well…] replied vice

{why don't I like the sound of that "well'...} said Breder

[Look don't be mad ok! Remember you did get some technological advances changes already! So… look I will be straight with you it's going to cost you like 2k points! Now wait! Hold up! Before you get furious… Listen though your body will be that of a warrior, your physical abilities will be more of that of a ravager! Also, you will be trading your slimmer appearance to a more muscular physique tone body!] said Vice in a hurry as he watches Breder eyes glow red

Having no choice but to accept the reality, Breder said

{Fine! So, how long do I need to slumber then! Because I really want to be up when that "king" comes back.}

[Beep… about four days] said Vice

{Great, let's start right away! Oh! But before that I do have one last question! I slimmed down my plates when I wanted more speed, so… how will I look if I suddenly gain my muscular physique back?} question Breder

[...]

{VICE!} yelled Breder

[Beep! Oh! Wow! Would you look at that! It's a good thing this king had many rare minerals in storage! Good thing I didn't forget that the king had a treasure trove right Breder!] said Vice to the very much embarrassed Breder for forgetting to check out the king vault!

After selecting the needed ores based on Vice advance, Breder decided to hold off on anybody enhancement till after he evolved. While looking forward to a much-needed restful sleep, Breder closed his eyes.

4 days later

Upon awakening the first thing Breder did beside stretch was assemble everyone to get a head count! Sure, Vice could tell him, but he really wanted to see it for himself! Seeing all of them gather in the room the king used for his short-lived party, Breder was stunned to see so many different types of drone bodies!

Before Breder stood 30 different drones with horns from all kinds of beast-men women that were used in their makeup, from sheep horns like Layla to goat horns like the devil! Their size ranges from normal 7ft tall freak drones to 10-foot giants! Unfortunately, none of them had any noteworthy abilities like Blacky did, for though some did have magic stones form the troll and goblin women who happen to be locked up with the other slave women for reason beyond Breder knowledge.

Either the Xenos who had them didn't know how to draw upon the magic stone from within, or they just didn't have special powers. Either way Breder had no way to find out since he didn't have a stone himself to experiment with, of course he asked Layla and Vice for advance cornering this problem, but they were of little help, for Vice simply said

[I'm not their system… so… my best guess is maybe when they evolve something will happen? It could also be the fact that the ones that came from beast-men just have a weaker mana crystal and can't produces anything noteworthy...]

While Layla said

[It's something they must discover on their own… for me as a sheep type beast-man I didn't have anything special other than being able to produce soft fluffy hair as much as I like and anywhere…wink!]

While shuttering to the image of the "now" queen Layla with hair, Breder counted the rest, while asking Vice to make a list.

Realizing that all his runners had died in glorious combat, Breder now just began to wonder if the goblin had anything that assembles that of livestock… Thinking quickly, it stands to reason that the surviving trolls or goblins might be holding onto some! After all, don't all crazy cult sacrifice stuff to their gods! And when they do, what better places than a church! Then you have the goblins in hiding… they had to be eating something right…
