(A/N: Heads up ya'll, my sister's wedding is Saturday. It might effect the releases but I'll try to get a backlog going. One a day chapters are going to be for the foreseeable future, it's a lot less stressful and I can do stuff other than try to write. Thank you all for your continued support you are all the best!

Also, New World Preview is friggin awesome, might or might not have a chapter tomorrow.)

--Zach POV--

I'm really regretting drinking so much last night, this morning I found myself waking up on the couch. You might ask, "Oh how did you know you were on the couch?" and I'd say "Because I vaguely remember my wife putting me there" but that would be a lie. The way I found out was when I had rolled over to try and hug my wife, and fell off the couch face-planting on the floor.

Not one of my finer moments, but Tsunade made her point that I overdid it last night. Maybe, I should have only done half of the work and left the rest for today. Man, I need to figure out a way to store my divine essence. Then either go on a huge bender, have massive amounts of sex, or lock myself up in the shop for a week to fill it up. Or, I could do all three and have drunken debauchery in my workshop, Tsunade might not like it too much.

Tsunade: -Cough Cough-

That brought me out of my musing and I saw her entering the room with a tray of breakfast. Just what the doctor ordered, breakfast in bed, well on the couch. It's good that my better half is here and with delicious breakfast, I can brainstorm with her on a battery, I have an idea. Placed the tray on the coffee table and sat next to me, being in the dog house I sat there and ate next to her quietly. After finishing breakfast she put her utensils down and just looked at me, we stared at each other for a while before she arched an eyebrow at me.

Zach: "I'm sorry I went overboard"

Tsunade: "Apology accepted, it won't happen again?"

Zach: "Can't promise that one, but I think I might have figured out a way to store my energy..."

Tsunade: "Go on.."

Zach: "Well, it ties in with Mito and your grandfather's necklace. She told me that my divine essence helped make her body corporeal. The only thing I can think of that would have come into contact with me to absorb that much energy is your necklace. You've had it on every time we've made love."

Tsunade: "That does make sense. But the problem is that it's a super rare mineral called quartz, if I would have sold that necklace we could have bought a mountain."

Zach: "Wait, wait, wait you said that it's quartz?"

Tsunade: "Yeah, have you heard of it before?"

Zach: "Yup, we have it on earth and it's actually a fairly common material. Heck, we can go to the mall in my town today and go pick some up for cheap, maybe make some money here off of it. We could buy some decorative pieces and give them to the Daimyo to smooth his feathers if they're ruffled."

Tsunade: "That's a good idea, I'll have Shizune clear my schedule and we'll make it a date day. Though I would like to stop by Victoria Secret and I saw that Bed Bath and Beyond had a nice sale going on."

All I saw was money signs over her head, this was going to be an expensive trip, luckily my bank account has steadily grown with all the items I had sold in my world. Plus the fact that I'm not having to spend any money made this upcoming shopping spree easier to swallow.

So that's how we proceed on with our date to the mall, this time we started with everything she wanted to do first. Which entailed me sitting outside of Victoria Secret for 2 hours while she went in and bought lord knows what, but I know I will enjoy it immensely. Then we went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought a lot of fragmented bath items, and candles, and well you get the drift.

For lunch, there was this nice little Mexican Food restaurant that we ate at. We demolished a couple of plates of fajitas and gorged ourselves on chips and salsa. By the time the waitress came and asked if we wanted any dessert, I was about to tell her no.

Tsunade: "Can I have one of these Sopapillas?"

Zach: "Make that two! I'm pretty sure I can fit on in, extra whipped cream also!"

When they arrived Tsunade tentatively tried it with honey and whipped cream, then she just devoured that too. I was about halfway into mine after she finished hers and she started to give me puppy dog eyes. Falling for her charm I just pushed my plate over to her she squealed with delight and dug right in. I do love my little glutton.

After paying the bill we left to go to an antique shop I knew of that would carry ornamental quartz. When we walked in I felt like we hit the jackpot, looking at Tsunade I swore she had Ryo's in her eyes at the display. In front of us was a counter with quartz bowls, cutlery, necklaces, and even rocks cut in half to show the colored quartz inside.

Let's just say I left the shop with a huge dent in my account, and they had an empty display case. I didn't think we needed that much, but I think that Tsunade wanted to buy it all just so she can flex how great I am. Remember what she said when I asked her why we're buying all this, it kind of made me blush.

Tsunade: "Because when we have high profiled guests over I can show off. I'll tell them to look at how great my husband treats me, it will raise your value as someone who is independently wealthy. Also, it will show them that you would go to any expense for my sake and to show that we have such a strong relationship."

Zach: "But we do have a strong relationship."

Tsunade: "Sweety, I know we do. But the people we would be showing these off to are the type of people who don't marry for love. They are political savants who will do anything to move up the chain of power, if we show weakness they will strike."

Zach: "And that is why I married you, you're so much smarter than me."

Tsunade: "I thought you married me for my good looks, and put these two in me."

Yup, totally my better half. So here I am lugging all these rocks around until we can get to a secluded spot. As we reached a corner of the mall with few people I sat the bags on a bench and let out a deep breath. Even after working out so much, they are still as heavy as hell, then a thought came to me. Why couldn't I just build a storage ring from essence, it wouldn't be too draining since it wouldn't need to be a big one. So I just did that, it fits perfectly on my finger with a wave of my hand, and putting some divine essence into it I stored all the bags in it. A kind might have caught me because I heard an "AHH SO COOL!" but I didn't pay them any attention.

Turning to Tsunade I could see her sitting on the bench with one leg up and over her other, and she was rubbing her feet. Looking closer I could see that her ankles were swollen from being on her feet too much today. Giving her a concerned look I got down on the ground in front of her and motioned for her to give me her feat.

Zach: "Here let me rub your feet, and after you rest up we'll head home. On the way home I'll have the uber driver stop at the grocery store and I'll run in and pick us up some ingredients for dinner and I'll cook for us tonight."

Tsunade just let out a groan as I started to massage her feet and ankles. That got us a few stares, but when I looked around the guys were looking at me in pity. While the women who had kids with them just looked at Tsunade in jealousy, I guess their husbands weren't brave enough to do this in public. Looking back to my lovely wife I could see her preening herself at the jealous stares and couldn't help but chuckle.

After our public display of affection, I guided Tsunade out of the mall to the Uber driver I had ordered for us. Having him stop at the grocery store along the way to let me run in and grab some things I made a quick dash down the isles already knowing what I was going to buy. Men shopping is so much quicker and easier than when women do it, for the most part. Coming out of the store with everything had me feeling like a NASCAR pit crew with how quick it was.

Both Tsunade and the driver were surprised and I just laughed, I've got plans tonight, and making my wife one of my favorite dinners is at the top of it. Followed by rigorous testing and charging of these quartz. As the drive took off Tsunade leaned into me and I just wrapped my arm around her and we rode back to the Wandering Inn in peace.

We reached the house right before dinner time and everyone was in the living room chatting. Naruto and Karin were talking about ninja stuff, while Shizune was talking with Jiraiya and Mito's ghost. Kayla was there but she was staring at Mito with stars in her eyes, might have an admirer in that one but it's understandable. Seeing the scene made me smile, I'm glad I get to come home to this every day, and I'm glad I bought enough ingredients for everyone.

It didn't take long for me to make dinner, it was the Frito Pie recipe my mother had taught me when I was younger. First, you make some chili, then you get a casserole dish and line the bottom with Fritos. After that, you pour the chili on top of the Fritos and layer the top with cheese and another layer of Fritos. Finally, you put it in the oven to melt the cheese on top and presto, some damn good eating, totally unhealthy but it sure tastes good.

Bringing out the casserole dishes were going to be a pain so I called Naruto and Karin to help me. Them getting along is really nice, he could use more friends that aren't taught to initially hate him. As the dishes were brought out to the dining where everyone was at I could already see the drool on everyone's faces. I had to scold Naruto twice on the way to the table because he was trying to stick his finger in the dish.

After laying the dishes out I took my seat next to Tsunade and smiled at her. Grabbing her plate I brought it over and cut out a piece and plated it then handed it back to her. She dug in right as it hit the table, and let out a big moan in delight.

Naruto: "WOAH OLD MAN THIS IS GREAT!"

Zach: "Naruto, don't yell indoors. It's impolite and we can hear you just fine if you talk normally!"

Naruto mumbled something that sounded like yes sir. But I was just happy he liked it. Everyone else expressed their approval of the meal and it made me proud. I couldn't help but smile and mutter to myself.

Zach: "Even people from another world love your recipe mom, I hope I'm making you proud."
