38 Ch. 38

--Zach POV--

Falling asleep next to my gorgeous wife is the easiest thing in the world, but waking up to her quiet sobs is one of the worst. Holding her tighter and kissing the back of her head let her know I was here, and all I could do is wait for her to want to talk.

Tsunade: "Why is the world so unfair?"

Zach: "Some blame the gods, I tend to blame greed and fear. Orochimaru was greedy for the secrets of the Senju, and Danzo was scared of the obstacles in his way to power."

Tsunade: "I just want to kill them all."

Zach: "You have 3 out of 4 in your grasp right now, we'll get the snake, I promise you."

With that, we just laid there together, left to our thoughts until dinner. Shizune had knocked on our door and brought us dinner in bed, it was a nice steak and mashed potatoes. Tsunade had fallen in love with this dish on one of our dates in my world, and I can't fault her on that, it's damn delicious.

After dinner in bed, Shizune picked up the tray and left us alone again.

Zach: "Do you want to talk about it?"

Tsunade shook her head "no", and I let it drop, she'll come to me if she needs me. No need to push it and cause a fight. Getting up, I grabbed Tsunade's nightgown and brought it to her to change into. As she was doing that, I stripped into my boxers and climbed into bed. With that we just held each other for the rest of the night, falling into a food coma after dinner.

We woke up early the next morning before the sun rose above the horizon, looking at the clock it was 0400. Tsunade sat up and stretched with her arms up in the air making her nightgown cling to her body, which got my motor roaring. Pinning her down, she yelped because of my sudden action. She started kissing me back, and we had our morning exercise out of the way.

An hour later we were cleaned up and dressed ready to start our day. Today was the first day that I'd start to train Naruto, and I had a couple of things in mind, mainly on chakra control. Reaching his door, I flung it open to see Naruto sleeping peacefully with half his blanket on the floor, as he was spread out across the bed.

Zach: "NARUTO WAKE UP!"

Naruto: "Um-om, five more minutes."

The little shit just rolled over and cuddled with his blanket. Well, then no reason to play nice, I let a bit of my killing intent slip towards Naruto. That shot him out of bed in an instant and into a defensive stance, that was acceptable. But what would happen if someone could mask the killing intent? I'll have to go over that with Jiraiya.

Zach: "Get up, we're training. Meet me in the workshop in 10 minutes."

With that, I left and headed outside to my workshop. The whole way I was thinking of a way to have the kid want to practice his chakra control. Then it suddenly hit me, when I was younger, a friend had gotten me and my father to make him a top. This top was used to battle other tops and had interchanging parts, I think he called them Beyblade. They would be perfect for a kid to use in order to control their chakra!

Let's see how I should make this, I'll start by making the launching sequence require chakra. Having a sweet spot of chakra on the release will cause it to spin longer, if you go over it will spin faster but will burn out quicker. But if you put too little in there it will be a slow spin barely keeping it up and could be knocked out easier. Then, if they release it with the perfect spot, it will activate the top plate with whatever animal that is on it, which creates a projection of it and the beyblade would be in the optimal fighting condition. Holy hell, if this works, I'd have clans begging me for beyblades for the kids to train in chakra control.

With that in mind, I created a tub-like area for the tops to duke it out. After that I made my beyblade first, it was made out of vibranium, adamantium, and the enchants were carved and filled with mithril, to finish it off, a slug was used as my crest. Starting on Naruto's, of course, I made him a crappy one, what kind of adult would I be if I gave the kid the best around. His was made out of steel with chakra metal enchants to be able to hold chakra, and his crest was that of a fox. By the time I got it all finished in the 10 minutes with the help of essence crafting, Naruto showed up.

The kid was still half asleep even after the shock I gave him, but what the hell, it was early. I walked over towards him with his beyblade in my hand. Holding it out to Naruto he reached out, took the beyblade, and started to inspect it.

Zach: "This is what I call a beyblade, they're tops that we can battle each other on. The clunky device holding the beyblade is its launcher, you run your chakra through it. You put too much in the beyblade and it will go fast but burn out quickly, and if you put too little, it will be the opposite. There is a sweet spot where you get the best of both worlds and a perfect spot where you will unlock the true power of the beyblade. It all comes down to your chakra control!"

Naruto had stars in his eyes and was about to let the beyblade loose right then and there.

Zach: "Woah, woah, let's go over to the arena I've made for this! We have a battle to start!"

Naruto: "HECK YEAH! I'M GONNA BEAT YOU, OLD MAN!"

Zach: "Oh? Care to bet?"

Naruto: "I'LL BET THAT LIFETIME SUPPLY OF RAMEN! THAT'S HOW CONFIDENT I AM!"

Zach: "Deal!"

Hell yeah, I'm gonna make that deal, Tsunade will be so proud of me for taking that money sink away from him. With a smirk, I led him over to the arena and we set up on either side of it. Holding my beyblade and launcher over the area, I held up three fingers and started to put the perfect amount of essence into the beyblade, while starting to count down from 3. 2. 1.

Zach: "LET IT RIP!"

Naruto: "LET'S GO!"

As our beyblades hit the ground, his was spinning fast as hell from having too much chakra. Mine, on the other hand, was glowing and had a sparkling slug on the top and spinning at the right speed.

Naruto: "What's that?!"

Zach: "It's my beyblade's beast, remember the part about the perfect spot?"

Naruto: "So cool! What's mine? Is it a dragon?!"

Zach: "You'll have to find out, so that means more practice!"

This whole time the beyblades were bouncing back and forth into each other. As both our eyes went back to watch the arena, Naruto's beyblade was moving quickly towards mine. Before it could make contact, I controlled the essence in it to make the beyblade dodge the attack and come behind. My beyblade got a good smash on Naruto's and sent it flying back to him, which he caught out of reflex more than anything.

Naruto: "NO FAIR IT WAS MY FIRST TIME!"

Zach: "A bet's a bet, want to try it again?"

Naruto: "YOU'RE ON!"

With that we passed 5 hours like it was nothing, Jiraiya showed up an hour ago and we gave him the rundown on everything. He was surprised and wanted to join in, so I made him one out of Titanium and chakra metal, his crest was that of a toad. Just like me, Jiraiya was able to hit the perfect spot every time and control it, which just made Naruto more determined to master the toy.

Zach: "Jiraiya, it's 10 am, and we haven't had breakfast. I'll leave Naruto to you. I want to go spend some time with my wife!"

Jiraiya: "Sounds like a plan, I believe she's at the hospital right now, taking care of some of the more seriously injured people from the exam."

Nodding my head I made my way to the Hospital. Along the way I stopped at Teuchi's new shop inside the Wandering Inn and picked up three orders of ramen, I knew Shizune would be with her so might as well. Grabbing the grub, I scurried my way to the hospital as quickly as I could so I could arrive with warm food for the ladies. Arriving at the hospital I went up to the front desk to inquire where the two were.

Zach: "Excuse me, can you tell me where Tsunade is? I've brought her and Shizune lunch!"

Receptionist: "Yes Mr. Briggs, Tsunade told us you might be showing up. She is currently in room 201 a Mr. Uchiha's room."

Great, just great, that emo kid.

Zach: "Thank you so much you've been a great help!"

As I went up to the second floor, I could see a Jonin with jet black hair who had his hair cut like a helmet. I would recognize that hairstyle anywhere, it's Might Guy! My man, I need to do something for him and Lee. They always seem to get shafted because of their choice. Maybe I should introduce them to some Bruce Lee movies, or Fist of the North Star, and they could get ideas from them. Hell, even Kenichi would be an interesting one with the different types of martial arts! Reaching the door, I could see Guy giving the puppy-dog eyes to Tsunade, she had just finished healing Sasuke.

Zach: "Excuse me, I need to get in there to give my wife her lunch."

Guy turned and looked at me curiously.

Guy: "Wife? There is only Tsunade-sama and Sakura in there."

Tsunade: "Guy! Let my husband in, I'm hungry!"
