14 Ch. 14

--Zach POV--

I woke up slowly and in an uncomfortable position trying to figure out where I was. It took me a second to remember last night and it made me frown. I remember starting the night on the couch because I was in the doghouse. Then I remembered getting up and going to the restroom and I was on autopilot so I climbed into bed with Tsunade. Then I remember after that is the words "No. Dog house." and got flung out of the bed and onto the couch where I passed back out.

Sitting up and stretching I looked around the room and saw Tsunade sitting up in the bed typing away on my laptop. She looked pretty just sitting there concentrating. I sure am a lucky man to be able to see this side of her. It was as if she could feel my eyes on her. She lifted her eyes from the screen to look at me.

Zach: "You know you're beautiful."

She raised an eyebrow in reply to that.

Zach: "I just wanted to let you know nothing else."

She closed the laptop and gave me a radiant smile that felt like it lit up the room.

Tsunade: "Good, you are forgiven and out of the doghouse."

With those words, I hopped up on the couch and jumped on the bed. Brandish my hands and wiggling my fingers. I was greeted with a don't you dare look, and then I was on the attack tickling her sides. Trying to avoid breaking the laptop on her lap, I have to say I was able to continue the attack for 8 seconds. Breaking my previous record for 4 seconds from a couple of days ago, I felt very proud of myself.

We were both breathing heavily and giggling like schoolgirls next to each other. She leaned into me and put her head on my shoulder. I followed by putting mine on top of hers and grabbing her hand.

Zach: "So for today, wear what you normally do minus the jacket. It's still hot where I'm from and you'd look out of place with it on. I still have a bit of money left so we can go shopping for some clothes for you and Shizune if you're feeling nice. We'll need to make a stop by a certain shop so I can buy the remaining pieces for the Humvee that I'm building us. After that, we'll go visit my parent's grave so I can introduce them to you. Then we'll finish it up with dinner and a movie!"

Tsunade: "Looks like you have this all planned out. Don't think I didn't hear that little bit about shopping for your project. I'll let it slide this time since we'll be meeting your parents!"

She made me chuckle a bit with her comment. I turned my head and kissed the crown of her. Getting up I started to get ready for the day ahead of me. She followed right behind me and passed me, beating me to the bathroom where she shut the door in my face.

Zach: "Damn tease."

Muffled through the door she replied.

Tsunade: "I heard that!"

Mumbling to myself I killed the time on the laptop while she was freshening up. Thirty minutes later she came out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel and drying her hair with another one. I got up from where I was sitting to go claim the shower, hoping to one of the gods that own the place she left me some hot water. As I passed her I gave her a quick pinch on her ass and scurried away into the bathroom locking the door behind me.

Tsunade: "Ass!"

Zach: "You have a very nice one!"

With that, I started up the shower and jumped into it. Shaving off my 5 o'clock shadow and washing all over. Damn, I miss my beard, but you gotta dress to impress. Once the "honeymoon" phase is over I swear it'll be back!

Ghost of Beard Past: "I'll be back. Get to the Choppa!"

After freshening up I exited the restroom in nothing but a towel walking over to the dresser where we keep our close. As I passed Tsunade I got a pinch on my ass, and I yelped. It was a manly yelp, not a girly one. Yeah, manly one.

Zach: "Ass."

Tsunade: " You have a very nice one."

Did she just steal my line? Yup, she did, and I'm really okay with it. With pip in my step, I got dressed, and by the time I was done Tsunade was ready to go. Standing at the door that would lead to my world I held out my hand for her to take. It looked like she danced over to me and took it. The movement made her look like an angel. Even though it's only been a month, I can honestly say I think I love her. She gets more and more beautiful every day and I really can't see my life without her.

Squeezing her hand I leaned over and kissed her.

Zach: "Let go, I have a car waiting to take us to the mall where we can shop." (A/N: Yo lazy author here, the mall is going to have a tire shop in it because hey guys what I'm lazy.)

She gave me a bright smile and nodded as I led her through the door and out to the car. She was shocked at the little sedan. I forgot all she has seen is the shell of the Humvee I'm making. Opening the door for the backseat I let her get in first then followed her. Showing her how to buckle the seatbelt through monkey see, monkey do.

Driver: "Destination?"

Zach: "Firewheel Mall if you could."

He just nodded and put the car in drive and started his way to the mall. As we took off Tsunade took my hand and squeezed it. Startled a little bit by the motion on the vehicle. Other than that her face was glued to the window watching the scenery go by and all the new sights. She'd tugged my hand a couple of times on the way asking what certain things were and I explained what they were, in a whisper that only she could hear

We arrived at the mall and I paid the driver through the app I ordered him from and thanked him. The mall is a nice outdoor mall with everything you could ever need all in one place. Tsunade tugged my hand to get my attention.

Tsunade: "Let's get your stuff done first because I don't know how long I will take with my shopping."

I could already see stars in her eyes as she had been looking around at all the displays in the windows. I just sighed and walked with her hand and hand to the tire shop. We went into the shop and walked up to the front counter where a man greeted us.

Mechanic: "Hey ya'll what can I do for you today."

Zach: "Hey boss, I'm looking to buy 5 mudding tires and some heavy-duty rims to go with them."

Mechanic: "You're in luck we got a sale on Super Swampers buy 4 get 1 free and same thing with the Black Rhino Armory rims." (A/N: Totally not how it works and yeah yeah flame me on this, please. I just feel it would be super boring and too much information. Both are real products that I'd buy if I had an off-road truck.)

Zach: "Deal as long as you can deliver them to The Wondering Inn!"

Mechanic: "I believe I can, we're pretty slow today so it's a deal!"

With that, my work here was done and we could get on with the wonderful joys of shopping with a woman. I thought that taking her to Victoria Secret would be the best thing on earth. I'd get a model show of her in lingerie and everything would be glorious. But as soon as she saw what kind of store it was she sat me down on a bench outside and she told me to give her some money and sit here and wait. It was the best and worst experience of the day.

Tsunade came out of the store 2 hours later with nothing in her hands. I've seen this happen before in which she told me she had storage seals on her where she keeps items. With a shrug, I stood up and held my hand out and she took it. We made our way around the mall stopping in dress shops where she modeled for me and bought a few things. It was a wonderful experience that I would not trade it for the world.

Starting to feel hungry we made out way over to the food court where I knew they had this killer Mexican food joint. During the visit I learned that I need to learn how to cook Mexican food, she devoured everything in front of her. I wasn't too far behind her so It was all good!

Leaving the restaurant we made our way out to the movie theatre to see what was playing. And coincidentally The Notebook was being shown as it was some kind of couples event they were throwing today. Knowing from experience that women love that movie I decided to introduce her to the romantic genre of movies.

That might not have been the best choice of movies to show her. I'm now scared that my future life will be nothing but watching romance, and maybe romantic comedies. Sacrifices we make for the people we love. LIVE ON FOR ME BROTHERS!

After we left the theatre I ordered another driver to take us to the cemetery where my parents were buried. It was only a 10-minute drive from the hotel and the driver was cool with just waiting for us as we visited the graves, for a fee of course.

Feeling nervous as I'm walking Tsunade up to their grave I gripped her hand tighter for support. She in turn gripped back letting me know she was there for me. I had never introduced any woman to my parents so it's a new and scary experience. I do hope they like her.

Standing in front of the graves I took a deep breath.

Zach: "Mom, dad there is someone I want you to meet. Her name is Tsunade Senju, I've technically known her for almost half a year now and really only started dating a month ago. I uh, didn't follow your rules dad. But I won't say it was a mistake. She has brightened my world when I thought I had lost everything. She brought me back from the brink as they say. She is carrying ya'lls grandchild and I love her."

I couldn't help but tear up as I was telling them about her. I felt her lean over and kiss me on the cheek. She then let go of my hand and stood in front of the grave giving a deep bow.

Tsunade: "I am Tsunade Senju. Thank you for giving birth to a wonderful son. He has grown into a man that many should aspire to become. A man that I admire with all my heart. I wish you could be here to watch our child grow. But I know you will look after them from the other side. I want to say that I love your son very much and I will take care of him for as long as he will let me."

I wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her back into a hug. Burying my face in her hair as I cried. She just stood there one hand holding mine while stroking it with her thumb. The other hand behind her running her fingers through my hair telling me it's ok.

After I cried myself out of manly tears. I loosened up the grip which in turn let her turn around and she placed her forehead on mine and leaned in to kiss me. We held the kiss for a minute before we parted. With a ragged breath, I stated.

Zach: "Tsunade Senju, I love you."

She looked into my watery and gave a smile that lit up the night sky.

Tsunade: "Zachary Briggs, I love you too."

Then we kissed again, ever so gentle.

We looked up to see who was slow clapping us. Spotting Aphrodite we both frowned at her for interrupting our moment. Dammit girl, why do you have to do this now?!

Aphrodite: "So before you go cursing me and everything I've actually come to you as a favor."

We still stared at her like she was a bodybuilder at an anime convention.

Aphrodite: "Me and the boys have pulled some strings in the god world and got the go-ahead to let you know what your parents think about what you two just told them."

She then proceeded to pull out a parchment and unrolled it and cleared her throat.

Aphrodite: "Zach and Tsunade. We are glad you found each other when you did. Not going to lie we were worried for a second about your situation. Your father just laughed when you told him you didn't listen to his advice. Saying something around the lines of "Like father like son" but he says he's proud of you. We give you two our blessing for when you decide to marry. Just keep this hard-headed knucklehead out of trouble would you Tsunade dear? I wish we could be there to watch the children grow up in person but we'll keep a good eye on them both from here. Be safe you two, and always stand by each other. You will be stronger together than apart. We love you both so much and are so proud of you.

After the reading, Aphrodite rolled the parchment back up and tossed it to us. Tsunade snatched it out of the air and unrolled it reading over it again. My mind was already freezing, it's seemed to happen a lot lately, maybe I have a brain tumor. What's this about children plural? They said the would watch over both of them? Is she pregnant with twins?!

--Tsunade POV--

After reading the letter I'm stunned, I'm ecstatic that they approve of me and Zach's relationship and to top it all off I'm pregnant with twins! It's been too early for me to tell, but with the gods involved, I know the information is correct! I can't wait to tell Shizune! Wait Zach's being awfully quiet. I turn around to see him in a daze still processing the information. You can tell he's putting the piece together andddd there he got it.

Ready to freak out with the good news that was shared I started to jump on him. But before I could I see him falling backward. DID HE JUST FAINT ON ME?!

Giving him the panda express I popped him in both eyes to snap him out of it.

Tsunade: "Come on Daddy, it's time to go back to the inn."
