The Fox Bride

"You are nothing but a disgrace to this family, I am ashamed to have given birth to you" The venomous words, deadly glares and disdainful treatment of her family had always pulled Shizuku down. She herself would never understand why is it she's hated while the sister is favored and pampered. They were born from the same mother, born in the same family, and grew up in the same house. They said the Yamanobe Household to be direct descendants of a powerful line of sorcerers and have been practicing the art of pleasing the heavens through their dancing and prayers. A respected family, adored and envied because of their skills and influence in Japan. Anyone would be lucky to be part of that house, but not her. Yamanobe Shizuku is a 17-year-old girl, firstborn of the current head and mistress of the family. They destined it she's to succeed her family, but when she was born with hair as black as night and ruby orbs, they discarded her. It wasn't long before her sister, Kikyō, was born and got all the love from her parents and the elders. She didn't mind it that much. Shizuku loved her little sister, and so did she. But when unprecedented events started invading her dreams, Shizuku found herself in a larger predicament than the one inside her family. With dreams that are closer to reality, and a man who seemed to be connected to her in the past, what will Shizuku do as the fox bride?
