26 Ch26. Arriving at Academy City.

After driving for the rest of the night and most of the next day I finally stopped on the side of the road to get some rest and to have a look at some of my loot, but first I need to eat something 'Damn I am hungry.'

So after having some preserved meats and a couple beers, I found a tree that had enough shade to let me enter my space and I slipped in to check out my gains. The first thing I did was organize my Shadow Space, because at the moment everything is just kind of just lying around piled up everywhere. So I put all the desks and wooden things to one side, I neatly packed all the books to another side, I will go through those when I get to academy city, right now I just don't have the time. After that I stacked all the other decorations, paintings and random little things on another side, well I say side but since my space is a circle everything is basically just surrounding the edges with just enough space in the middle for me and my Bike.

Sorting everything neatly did make some more space but my space can no longer be used to move around, so I will have to put in a lot of extra effort to expand it before I arrive at Academy City. After all that I finally got to going through all the desks to look in all the draws and cupboards to see how much actual money I gained. After searching through them I found a wide variety of things, including very fancy gold rimmed paper, quite a few different pens and other writing equipment. I found Mr. Sharks ledgers and can see who all owes him money, I don't really understand these too much, 'I laugh he doesn't have a backup of the ledgers then he won't know who all owes him money and how much . . . hahaha he could be completely fucked right now!'.

Now onto the good stuff, I found a total of 3856 Gold in total, this is after I calculated in all the Bronze and Silver, the most amazing thing is that I actually found coins made out of Gems!!! I am not too sure about the value of these coins but I am sure I can find that out by going through his books and ledgers. In the Gold desk that was on the third floor, I found about 100 red Gem coins, 50 Green, 12 red and 5 Black ones that were shaped a bit differently. Besides not knowing the value of these coins I am absolutely certain that they are worth a ton! 'That was a very successful robbery, it's a shame I couldn't get into the main safe, but this wealth should last me quite a while.'

After sorting out my gains I jumped out of shadow space, got back on my bike and raced off, I want to get to academy city as soon as possible.

So after constantly traveling for the last two and a half months or so, I have finally arrived at Academy city! I must say that all the actual traveling was crazy boring! I barely did anything besides traveling, eating, sleeping and training. After waking up every morning I would train my body for about an hour and a half, I would then eat something, use my complete reserve of Magical Energy to charge up my Bikes energy. I would then Drive for the next 6 hours or so and the take a break to take care of various necessities, use my energy to fill up my bike again and then drive until about 10pm. After that I would eat again and train in my magical abilities, mostly in increasing my Shadow Spaces size and then go to sleep at around 1am.

I repeated this process almost every day, except for the days where I got incredibly board at this repetitive lifestyle. I would then stop over at the closest town to stock up on my various necessities and to have a little fun, sometimes I would practice my pickpocketing or I would just mess around by getting wasted and picking some fights with the local drunkards. This is actually my favorite activity! Fighting is so much fun but after a few fights most normal people get scared off by my savage fighting style.

When I say most people, I mean people who don't know Magic, I have fucked up twice by picked a fight with a Circle 1 Mage, and he literally kicked my ass, the first guy just covered his fist in rock and punched me in my face, His rock fist was the size of my head so besides breaking my nose, he knocked me out cold. I woke up later that day on a bar table with my nose somehow fixed, surrounded by drunkards laughing at me, 'That was really embarrassing, but I guess you got to learn somehow...'.

The next few fights I was more careful, but I have no idea how to tell if someone is a Mage as I can't really sense Magical energy on other people, so I inevitably messed up again, this time it was a really 'big' women mage. 'I honestly don't care about picking fights with girls because I have seen some scary ass bar chicks who easily man handle the drunks, and I am an avid believer in true gender equality. . . as douchey as that makes me sound, but fuck it...'.

Anyway this girl was way more brutal than the other guy, she straight up made a magic circle full of runes appear under my feet, trapping me in a FUCKING TORNADO! That shit cut me to pieces! It didn't knock me out but by the time the spell was over, I was bleeding from most parts of my body and had to get wrapped up in bandages for a week to recover. You have no idea how painful it was to drive at high speeds while your boy is fucked up! 'Fucking bitch, just because I called you fat when I was drunk, you do this to me! Just wait until I learn magic and we will see what happens then.'

But honestly I wasn't too pissed off, I mean you win some you lose some, I have beaten up some guys pretty badly in some bar fights, going as far as to break their arms and legs, but that is just because they were weak, it's their own fault … kind of.

Anyway I had some fun times on those stop overs, I have to admit. I even got a new tattoo on my calf of a thick badass chain shaped in the infinity symbol, I was bored and didn't know what else to get so I just got something that, in my opinion, symbolizes my immortality, the chain represents that I am chained to the responsibility of destroying this world and then infinity to represent my immortality. Well that was my excuse but in all honesty I just like tattoos and I think they fit my current 'look'.

After all that time I am finally at Academy City, and it is finally time to get into a Magic Academy and master Magic!! I hope I will be accepted into one of the best ones, but I am really nervous since I don't have the ability to externalize Runes. 'Well you never know, my protagonist aura might activate..'
