In the year 2059, human progress had taken its initial steps into the era of space with bases on the moon and Mars, almost reaching self succificiency, but unbeknownst to human it was the year that would change the entirity of the human comprehension of space and answer the age old question. Are we alone?? Marie was one of few handfuls that were transferred to Mars in the lastest expansion of the hope base. It had already been a month since she was transferred from the Einstein space station, but she could still feel the excitement in her blood, after all this was what she dreamed of since the age of 5. Today was an especially exciting day as it was the first day of her actual assignment, the exploration of Mars. .................................................................................
