Whirling world

WHISPBLUE CITY 12:43 pm

The sounds seemed to resonate with her, with the vibrations of the sound ringing in her ears, shaking her minute by minute. The place was damaged up to the unreplenishable extent. She tried to open her eyes and look around, but her eyes failed.

She just knew she was stuck in the midst of the new war raging around her, she didn't know the cause, but she felt bad. Her gut felt heavy in all the emotions that rushed towards her at some point. She tried to stand up, but she couldn't since her legs felt so heavy for the first time.

Just a few hours ago she woke up with a fresh breeze surging her from her circle-shaped window, her she greeted those little birds which sat on the perch she made when she was small, she filled a bowl of water and placed near the perch, the little creatures dipped and drank the freshwater which was glistening in the sunlight, she could smell the freshness of the air and now everything appeared to be gone, all in a single day.

*dream-flashback*

"Breakfast Aurora," her mother called her and she woke up rubbing her tiresome eyes, she smiled at the thought of her long-lost cousin coming to her home, he wasn't exactly her cousin, but their family friend who had gone to Texas to continue his higher studies and he had settled there when he got a job on the same place, she always admired him and had anticipated his arrival from the day he had told that he'd come to their home to visit them

She hadn't seen him for 4 years, but she felt the same thing for him, she yearned to see the person who had made her blush for the first time, whom she couldn't call even though she knew the number memorized.

He was someone she knew all her life, he had done everything for her. She was wondering whether he was sharing the same feelings for her. Even though she wanted to know the answer, she refused to know due to the negative possibilities.

"Coming," she roared back after some time after leaping out of the bed like a tigress and she splashed a good amount of water on her flawless face. she looked up at the mirror and touched her perfect nose, she felt perfect that morning. Her lips shifted into a perfect smile which would amuse anyone on the fantasy world which contained dozens of fairies.

She could smell the fresh fruits and the sandwiches that her mom had made, with pineapple juice which gave a punch of acidity whenever she drunk it. She could almost taste it just with the thought of it. The tapping on the steps when she walked was satisfying, it can never grow old.

"Good morning Aurora," her mom sung while she was pouring the juice into everyone's glass.

"Morning Mumma," she chirped as soon as she completed munching her first bite of sandwich in a hurry.

She noticed her dad reading the newspaper with furrowing eyebrows as usual. With all the busy schedule he usually had, the newspaper was the only thing which seemed to distract him.

"Dad, can we go to a restaurant today? I mean it's so long since we last hung out together as a family," she wanted to ask him this for a long time, she couldn't gather her guts, her dad was a very strict and religious person who forbids her to do almost everything.

"We'll see," he replied after a while, keeping his eyes still on the newspaper when the bell chimed.

She rushed to open the door hoping it is her cousin, but as soon as she opened the door, her face expressed her disappointment. It was her father's assistant, Lily. her father looked up removing his reading glasses and he placed them on the dining table.

"Aurora?" she heard a voice waking her up from the realistic dream, she had drifted to sleep a while ago due to the weariness of the situation.

3:00 pm

She rubbed her eyes again and wished it was all a dream, but as soon as she smelt the gun powder and saw the collapsed buildings around her, her small hope vanished into thin air.

She tried to wipe away the memory of her parents squished under the kitchen roof, her father's reading glasses piercing her left foot when she walked into her collapsed house and all this had happened after she had rushed out to check whether her cousin had arrived yet. She had miraculously survived somehow but she knew it was an absolute coincidence.

"Aurora??" Lily shouted as she snapped out from her thoughts . she looked at lily with those tear-stained Amber eyes. both knew that they have faced a tremendous loss when aurora has lost her parents and Lily didn't know whether her daughter was still breathing.

Aurora got up slowly and looked around and her eyes went searching for her guy whom she always carried in her heart even if it weighs so much, she was so sure that she would confess whatever she felt for him only this morning. She wished he was safe and sound. But now, she realized he was in trouble because when the bombs started hitting, she had spotted his black car from a distance.

He was somewhere near, what if he was collapsed under his car, struggling for help? she thought and she really wanted to lift it off from her mind, since she desperately wanted him to be safe.

She started concentrating on her nearby surrounding searching for the black car of his and she couldn't find it in the mess around her.

"What do we do now?" she asked after a while, losing hope for doing anything, she picked up few pebbled near her feet, which were gathering on her as if she were buried, she tore a piece of cloth from her dress and wrapped it around her soft feet which experienced great pain, but nothing was huge enough compared to the uncertainty of their future.

"Pick out the glass pieces first" Lily offered to help but she declined, she picked out the glass pieces herself, she wanted to think about everything, and blankly staring into the oblivion was too depressing, so she chose to do something and think.

It was all so sudden, nobody knew who launched a bomb on their city and they didn't know how far, but it was still a catastrophe. she knew school wasn't going to be a problem when the whole city is in some unreplenishable destruction.

WHISBLUNIAN FOREST 4:33 pm

They started walking towards the clean environment they could find in that walking leaving behind the fallen buildings. They pushed their legs to their limits until they reached a plain green lawn where no one was there.

And that was so surprising because usually all the evaders and people who escaped the bombing would be in this place

What if there were none except them? the question crept inside their mind as if it was some disease.

They started searching everywhere, Aurora searched for her cousin, while Lily searched for her daughter.

But no matter how hard they searched, they ended up finding no one and searching was a whole lot tougher in an enormous area with nobody to ask.

the area looked spooky enough which could be considered as bombarded already, but this place was left tranquil, but nobody in it added up eerie silence and creepiness.

Aurora wanted to take a rest, but she couldn't and she hoped that he was safe but on the other hand Lily knew her house was no more there and her daughter wouldn't have survived if she wasn't here. The truths were so bitter and hard to accept.

The more passing moments made them more anxious and nervous and Lily wanted to increase her pace in finding her daughter but her legs couldn't take it, she slumped near a tree and within no time she dozed of.

Aurora had a lot to process in her memory, she couldn't accept that her parents were no more, and she wished that it was all a bad dream and soon she'd wake up screaming and her parents would hurry to embrace her and when she grasped the fact that it would never happen, she had unsettling tears flowing from her eyes. She wished that her parents were near her right now, she wished she didn't have to go through this alone, but nothing in life happens as she wished after the bombs, she didn't want to continue anything If the search for her cousin went futile.

she wished to see him.

she cried, she sat down to think about what happened, there was a lot to think about to settle down, decide what to do, but she couldn't calm her mind, she knew it was a loss, she felt guilty for even trying to move on, she needed time to grieve, she didn't know who had launched the bomb, what was gonna happen after this. she didn't know whether someone was going to save them, but her instinct told her that she didn't have time

she closed her eyes and let her thoughts wrap themselves around her into a cloudy haze which seemed to last forever, she could sense annoying little grass pricking her, where she sat, but that was her least concerned, she wanted her parents back, so desperately that she was so lost.

6:13 PM

"Aurora" she heard someone whispering from a great distance, it wasn't lily, the voice wasn't feminine. she avoided it, she was feeling hallucinated.

She opened her eyes slowly and saw a face that seemed vaguely familiar. she blinked her eyes once more and focused on the brown eyes and she hugged her cousin, in all the confusion she had, she knew it was him, she knew he was alive, he had made it. and she had him to grieve with.

"Kazuo" she muttered with a forced whisper, the only thing she could muster.

"You're okay? I searched for you, I couldn't find your parents though, where are they, are they okay??" he asked, he seemed to be alright except for a few scratches on his left hand. and he had hope in his eyes and happiness he couldn't express only with words.

She held back her tears, conscious that she can't break out now and shook her head and he couldn't believe it as he slumped down on the grass below. no one spoke for a while, and Aurora stared into oblivion. He had no words, he knew who bombed the City but he had no idea why.

Lily woke up a while later and stared at Kazuo and she slumped to the tree trunk, she didn't want him to say that he hasn't seen her daughter, but still, she wanted to know.

"You've seen my daughter? she looks exactly like me, grey eyes, very long blonde hair, she's charming, cute, very kin-," she asked him tears overflowing from her little eyes, and all he could do was a simple shake of his head indicating a no cutting her sentence into half.

Lily seemed very upset and she turned away from them and started crying, she wished she could do something about this, find her daughter somehow, but she already searched most of the places.

"What is happening here," Aurora asked Kazuo who looked at her with confusion

"Vizyl companies" he replied and he was so surprised that she didn't know this.

"Huh?" she still had no idea what he was talking about

"They bombarded the entire city, maybe more, the cause is still unknown but it's not going to be very good Aura," he told her and realized why she hadn't known anything, he was in Texas working in a project with Vizyl companies, the only reason he had come home was to stop this, but it was too late.

he had been told about this by the people who work with him just minutes before bombarding, how could a girl of 15 possibly know about all these.

"Are we gonna be okay?" she asked him in some tone that softened his heart, he had always loved her and refused to show it to her. Only because she was really young, and he Left Whispblue only because he loved her too much and was afraid that it would ruin everyone, she was still a Minor, he was planning on returning only when she is 18.

"maybe" he looked around them to find nothing else other than the symmetrical area of the enormous forest beyond them.

She wanted to ask a lot of questions to him, how did he make it? How did he get to know about this but she wanted it to wait, first they need to figure out what were they gonna do.

Are they going to make it?
