Curing loneliness
Next day morning Maria finally decided to arrange her room . After almost two hours everything looked perfect . She was content with herself hence she took a short nap. She made a peanut butter sandwich stuffed it in her mouth and crashed on the couch . She switched on the television but there was nothing interesting on it so she decided to surf the internet on her mobile . But she later realized that her mobile network didn't catch signal in that place. Then she was just sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed just wanting to return to her old life.
Maria was considering the fact that how necessary was it for her to go outside. She decided it was extremely necessary. She decided to take a stroll in park , she combed her hair and freshened up. She was all geared up for the stroll . Just when she took a step outside she saw Anna riding her bicycle towards her home . Anna looked as if she was confused whether she should wave at her or behave as if she didn't notice anyone. She decided to wave at Maria but failed to maintain her balance. Maria rushed to her aid ,preventing her from getting hurt.Anna said ," where are you going?" to which Maria replied," nothing just going to the park" . Anna got all excited and said I have always wished I had someone to hangout with . Maria gave her a confused look ,her eyes waiting to catch some meaning. Anna just sighed in frustration and said you don't get it? I am asking if I can come with you. Maria looked quite perplexed and said surely you can but didn't you just return from somewhere. Anna - I went to get some snacks but the store was closed , anyway who considers sitting idly at home to hanging out with friends. At the last word Maria thought it was odd to call someone friend after minimum interactions.
The girls brisk walked to the park and found a bench to sit where they talked and stared at space. Maria was thinking on asking about her family and just when she opened her mouth . Anna shrieked and ran behind the bench to hide. the top of her blonde head the only sign that she is hiding there. Maria looked around for someone but couldn't see anyone.
She was about to turn behind and talk to Anna when she heard a voice. "May I help you ,babe" from right beside her.
