5 Happiness is eating meat

Bai Mu Dan woke up to the sounds of growls coming from her room. Alarmed and frightened by the deep growls, she covered her whole body in blankets leaving only room for her eyes to see and her nose to breath.

The sound seems to be coming from her bed, she thought as she scanned around.
Could something be under her bed?
The thought of some unknown creature hiding under her bed sent chills down her spine.
Screw it! She already died once what is there to fear! She thought as she gathered up all her might and duck down to check. She let out a sigh of relief when she realized that nothing was under her bed.
Her moment of happiness didn't last long as she begins to wonder, If there was nothing under the bed, then where was the noise coming from?

The noise continued.
Hold on..
The noise...
It's actually...
hah!
...It was actually coming from her own stomach!!
Damn, almost scared this baby to death..
Confirming that there was no threat, she decided to go back to sleep. She closed her eyes and doze off only to be waken by another deep growl.
Bai Mu Dan is deeply troubled. She could not sleep!

It continued to growl as Bai Mu Dan squirmed in her body around the bed as attempted to silence her disobedient stomach. To her surprise, this time her stomach actually growled twice in response each time louder than the one before.
Bai Mu Dan quickly got out of her bed as she searched around the room. Is there any snacks left behind from this morning? To her dismay, there wasn't. Nothing but a teapot of clear water on the table.
And so she drank every last bit of the water inside the teapot, hoping it could control the gurgling sound coming from her stomach.

GWAHH~
Double Kill!! Not only did it not calm down, instead it seems to be angry at her for feeding it water! Realizing that she couldn't win against her own stomach, she made the decision to sneak into the kitchen.
She silently walked towards the door as she gently opened it, enough for her to sneak a peak. Seeing the servant girl that was assigned to guard outside of her room was sleep, she quickly got out of her room and headed towards the way to the kitchen.
It is past midnight, everyone in the 6th princess's courtyard had fallen into a deep sleep. Not a single sound could be heard outside except the songs of the crickets and the gentle summer breeze accompanied with loud footsteps coming from her royal highness the sixth princess.

"Hush! I'll find you food!" she whispered to her belly as she gently rubbed it.
The scene really looks like a pregant woman caring for her unborn child...
In the Kitchen Bai Mu Dan began her quest to look for food like a wild dog but rounder- alot rounder. She could smell the fragrance of her beloved meat somewhere in this kitchen! After a few minutes of searching the kitchen, she found it- someone had hidden a bowl of braised meat under the cabinet! Perhaps the chef had prepared this as his midnight snack?
She stared at the bowl of meat as her mouth began to drool
My mother said all good things must be shared.
Bai Mu Dan's stomach began to growl again and she couldn't stand still anymore. She quickly found a clean spot on the floor and sat in a very comfortable position. In her hands were two giant bowls filled with braised meat and rice that she managed to find somewhere in this kitchen.
What can I say? This fatty's got talent
And so she began to dig into the food, the moment she tasted the meat in her mouth her eyes shone so bright the stars in the sky would feel ashamed.
This is it! She thought as she bite into the meat. Soft and tender, the meat melts in your mouth with the perfect balance of sweet and savory.
To actually have abandon this lil beauty for those vegetables!
"Tsk Tsk Tsk How muddleheaded I have been!"
As Bai Mu Dan happily eat her food, a bang could be heard in the kitchen. It seems like someone had knocked over something she thought. But who would be awake at this hour? Perhaps a servant? Or maybe the chef came back for his braised meat?
Bai Mu Dan, as an A-list actress from the 21st century adding to the fact that she is now a princess from the royal family born from the empress herself how could she let people see her in this state? Of course, the most natural thing for her to do was to hide. But because her body is so big she couldn't fit anywhere. There was no time, she could hear footsteps coming closer.
In a panic, she decided to play dead.
The door opened followed by a man dressed in all black limping into the room. The man has a good figure, once can tell that he is a master at martial arts.
Is he hurt? She thought as she studied the man with her eyes slightly open. It's nice to have a lot of meat on your face, you can squint all you want and no one will notice.
Judging from the black clothes and the mask covering his face. This man must be a burglar, he probably got hurt running away from the guards?
The man seemed to be very shocked when he saw her.
(Who wouldn't be shocked at the sight of a girl the size of two wrestlers combined on the kitchen floor. Especially when the girl's face was all scrunched up, as if it was paralyzed. The left hand holding 2 bowls while the right hand held a pair of chopsticks with a piece of meat in between...)
This man...Why is he staring at me like that? Does he want to take advantage of me?
The man, realizing there was a person in this room decided to leave however before he could even move he seems to have lost conscious. Bai Mu Dan saw the man fall on top of her as she let out a loud shriek. She pushed the man off of her and pointed her chopsticks at the man.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Don't try me! I have a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it!"
The man didn't react.
"Hey." she poked him with her chopstick.
"Hey." another poke
"Is you dead Bro?"
