Finally a good novel!🤩 Hands down the best novel out of the trials this week. I ended up reading it last 😔. If I’d known I would have read it first. 🔆 SPOILERS and SUMMARY: > First off, this book is a Xianxia novel. So it has elements of cultivation (with 9 levels), as well as mythical beasts. > FL was an archeologist and cultivator in her past life. She also has medical skills linked to cultivation. She’s originally from a time set in the future and due to various events transmigrates into a past life/world where cultivations also exists. However the cultivation in this past world is more prevalent from what I can tell. 🔅The story: > While this novel starts out as a predictable dog blood novel involving an aphrodisiac plot scheme set up against the original girl (leaving the transmigrated FL to save herself and consequently bumping into the ML); it develops very differently after that. 🦊 The FL first gathers her strength and levels up in cultivation among animals and beasts in a mountain. Her whole journey is interesting as you learn more about the FL. It’s also fast paced, but not so fast you’re confused. 💕 This novel is also funny and has cute fluffy moments especially with her interactions with the animals so far. I laughed a lot and wished I could cuddle some of the animals myself 😂. I really do like this one so far so I hope to see more of it👍🏼.

It was a great read until I found out the ML has a concubine... Or is there some explanation? I mean its such a pity, she's so interesting and the pacing was nice...

Hahahaha the FL is hilarious and her getting song with the beasts made this story so interesting and heartwarming. Finally historical beasts human story is still more interesting. 👍🏼👍🏼

I like how the story didn't drag on. It had a good pace 10/10 Must read!! Didn't disappoint at all. FL/ML had great chemistry was a twist with the animals

This a delightful novel. The female lead Xia Muqing is strong and capable, and the antics of her pets are so much fun. Only one interaction with the male lead, so still waiting to discover who he is. Really, really hoping this novel will be picked up! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The book was short and crisp. All the chapters were worth reading. The charac ter of both humans and animals and their interactions were very beautiful.

When I read the synopsis it reminded me of ‘I Turned Wild after being doted on by the big bosses’ (I’ll use ITW for short). There is some overlap between the novels, but this novel does stand on it’s own.

the synopsis doesn't do the story justice - an enjoyable read so far, good FL who doesn't have a robber mentality, hope story continues to be enjoyable and doesn't get all messed up and/or draggy

Loved that it was short and sweet. Schemers were punished and it didn’t drag out. Loved the connection she had with the beast and that the ml only doted on her. Little mysteries here and there and the adventures were all related and connected. Just hate that the Jiang family had to die but it was needed for the story. Also wished there would have been a way for the young Jiang boy to be with the little Phoenix. After all he's suffered he deserved some sort of happiness. Great read overall 💕

This story is really fun to read. The creator of the story showed us a good story development how the main female lead goes from the weak little girl to a stronger character.
