Chapter 3: The Plan

Lloyd watched as the rebels prepared for their attack on the Eldritch. He felt a mix of excitement and fear, knowing that the outcome of this battle could change the course of the war. But he also felt a sense of helplessness, as he knew that he had no magical abilities to contribute to the fight.

"Thank you for coming," Amelia said, her voice low. "We appreciate your willingness to work with us."

The rebel leader nodded curtly. "Let's get down to business. What's the plan?"He wore a tattered leather jacket over a dark shirt, with faded jeans and sturdy boots. His hands were calloused and scarred, evidence of a life spent fighting against the Eldritch.

"Alright, listen up," Amelia began, her voice low and urgent. "We've identified our target that, if taken out, could significantly weaken the Eldritch's by significant way."

Amelia's voice was low and urgent as she addressed the Groups. "Okay listen up guys today's target is a supply train that is carrying magical ores and supplies to the Eldritch soldiers. This is a crucial part of their logistics chain, and by attacking it, we can disrupt their ability to maintain their power."

"The supply train we're targeting is located in a remote area, far from any major Eldritch cities. It's traveling along a stretch of magical ley lines that runs through Enchanted Grove forest, which will provide us with cover as we approach.

"The train is heavily guarded, with Eldritch soldiers stationed on board and at various checkpoints along the route. But we believe that we can take them by surprise and disable their defenses, allowing us to capture the supplies and deal a significant blow to the Eldritch's logistics chain.

"Our scouts have reported that the supply train will be passing through the forest in the next 24 hours, so we don't have much time to prepare. We'll need to split into teams and coordinate our attacks carefully to ensure that we take out the guards, disable the magical wards, and capture the supplies without being detected."

The resistance team spent the next few hours preparing for the mission. They checked and double-checked their weapons and equipment, reviewed the plan with each other, and made sure that everyone knew their roles and responsibilities.

"Lloyd, I want you to meet your teammates These are the people who will be working with you on the mission."

As the team gathered around, Amelia turned to them.

"Everyone, this is Lloyd He'll be joining the mission to capture the supplies from the Eldritch train."

I stepped forward and nodded to the team. "Good to meet you all I'm looking forward to working together."

"I'm Maya,I'm in charge of demolitions and taking out any obstacles in our way."

Maya is a tall and imposing woman with a no-nonsense attitude. Her short-cropped hair is dyed jet black and she wears a black tactical vest over a dark green t-shirt, with cargo pants and combat boots.

"names Diego,I'll be providing cover from a distance and taking out any guards that come our way."

Diego is a tall and imposing man with a rugged appearance. He has a brown hair that gose along with a tiny beard, both of which are auburn in color. He wears a brown leather jacket over a black t-shirt, with cargo pants and sturdy boots that are well-suited for climbing and running.

"Well hello whats an handsome boy like you ended up here ,"

"I'm Ava by the way and i'm responsible for close-quarters combat and taking out any guards up close."

Ava is a tall and kinda a lustful women.she's in her early thirties with sleek body, blond hair that falls in a straight curtain down her back. She has piercing brown eyes and,

Jason stepped forward, a slight smile on his lips. "I'm Jason," he said. "I specialize in the arcane arts and will be taking out any magical defenses the Eldritch have set up."

Jason is a tall and slender man with fiery red hair that falls in unruly waves around his face. He wears a long black coat over a red shirt and blue pants, His piercing green eyes that seem to glow with an inner light.

Sophia emerged from the shadows, her movements smooth and silent. "I'm Sophia, I'll be infiltrating the train and disabling any alarms or communications systems."

Sophia is a lithe and agile woman with a dark and gloomy demeanor. She has long, jet-black hair that falls in sleek waves around her face, and her pale skin is marked with intricate black tattoos. She wears a black bodysuit that allows for ease of movement, and carries a variety of tools and gadgets strapped to her body, including a set of lockpicks and a silenced pistol.

"I'm Carter," he said, with a voice low and steady. "I'm the captain, and I'll be keeping an eye out for any potential threats or obstacles."

Carter is a tall and muscular man with short, white hair and blue eyes that seem to scan the horizon for any potential threats. He wears a tactical vest over a black t-shirt and cargo pants, and carries a variety of weapons and tools strapped to his body, including a handgun and a combat knife.

Lloyd nodded to each of them. "Sounds like we've got a great team here."

Amelia nodded in agreement. "Yes, we do. Remember, we have a limited window of opportunity here, so let's move out."

As we approached the forest, I could feel my adrenaline pumping through my veins. I knew that this was the moment I was not been preparing for, and I wasn't ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.

we split up and headed towards their designated positions. I and My team moved towards the Enchanted Grove forest, taking care to stay hidden from the Eldritch guards stationed along the way.

As we made our way through the forest, we kept our voices low, communicating only in hushed whispers.I was the only one on the team who cant understand their whispers.

"Stay alert, everyone," Maya said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We don't know what kind of defenses the Eldritch might have set up in here."

Diego nodded. "I've got eyes on a couple of guards up ahead. I'll take them out."

Ava moved in close, her knives at the ready. "I can take them out silently if you want."

Diego smiled. "Be my guest."

Ava moved forward, her movements graceful and fluid. Within seconds, she had taken out the guards with deadly precision.

"Nice work," Diego said, impressed.

As we continued on, Sophia moved ahead to scout out the area. She returned a few minutes later, her expression grim.

"I've spotted a magical ward up ahead,We'll need Jason to take care of it."

Jason stepped forward, his eyes glowing with a fierce intensity. He raised his hands, and a burst of energy shot out towards the ward, shattering it into pieces.

"Good job," Sophia said, nodding in approval.

As we approached the supply car, I could feel my heart pounding with anticipation. I knew that I had to move quickly to secure the supplies and get out before the Eldritch soldiers could mount a counter-attack.

"Okay, everyone, let's do this," Jason said, With my voice low and urgent.

Then Sophia quickly disabled the alarms and communications systems, while Jason used his powers to disrupt any magical defenses.

I and Carter rushed inside the car, grabbing as many supplies as they could carry. As they made their way out, Ava spotted a group of guards approaching.

"We've got company," she said, her knives at the ready.

I quickly grabbed a magical ore into my shoulder. "Let's move, Carter," I said, gesturing for him to follow me.

Ava moved in close, her knives at the ready. "I'll take out the guards," she said.

Diego moved forward, his sniper rifle at the ready. "I'll cover you, Ava," he said.

Ava darted forward, her movements swift and precise. With lightning-fast reflexes, she took out the guards one by one, her knives flashing in the dim light.

But just as the team was about to make their escape, a group of Eldritch soldiers appeared from the trees, their weapons at the ready.

Carter stepped forward, his eyes blazing with determination. "I've got this," he said, as he raised his hands and channeled his inner energy, I watched in amazement as his hands began to glow with a fiery energy.

He focused his energy with his voice low and steady he said

" Dragon Palm"

With a burst of energy, Carter unleashed a powerful Dragon Palm attack, sending a wave of fire and destruction towards the Eldritch soldiers. The soldiers stumbled back, their bodies engulfed in flames.

I looked at Carter with surprise. "What the hell is that" I asked with My eyes widening.

Carter turned to me, a small smile on his face. "It's called Dragon Palm,It's a technique that I've been practicing for a while now."

I nodded, still in awe of the power that Carter had just displayed. "It's incredible," With, my voice filled with admiration.

Carter's smile widened. "Thanks,It's not as strong as some of the other techniques out there, but it's still pretty effective."

Ava stepped forward, her knives at the ready. "We can use all the help we can get," she said, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

Sophia nodded in agreement. "We need to stay focused," she said, her voice calm and steady.
