35 Ronin

*GENERAL POV*

The Tamaranean girl had tried to fight once the Justice League came across her, but she was quickly subdued by Wonder Woman.

Given the identity of the invasion force it wasn't hard to figure out what she was to them. Batman had received a notification that a rather large explosion had happened over the Sahara Desert.

It was high in the sky but still cratered the ground. Green Lantern was in charge of speaking to the girl while the others focused on clean up.

There was a considerable amount of bodies and twice as much blood. Sanitation was their main priority. No telling what diseases they have and how it could react to humans.

*Watch Tower Medic Wing*

Koriand'r that was the name of the Tamaranean and apparently, she was the former princess. Sold by her sister who had killed their parents, and all but enslaved their people.

Not a pretty story but what brought the interest of the League mostly Batman was the description of her savior.

White hair, golden eyes slightly worn samurai armor, and slightly faded tattoos. She of course didn't describe him well but thanks too Martian Man Hunter he was able to give a proper description by reading her mind.

Wind manipulation, teleportation, and the ability to summon his weapons and armor. Batman had started to look for footage of the fight, the problem was that all of data seemed to disappear.

Even the few files he had on the description of the person were erased. It took some time, but he was able to find out about a mercenary that had been seen in a few war-torn countries.

Rumors mostly, like a ghost. Deathstroke had apparently fought him once but again that was a rumor. Batman had turned to physical copies of the few videos he had left and paper documents.

He and the other tech savvy individuals of the League had yet to find out how the hacker did what he did. No alarms were tripped, and no other file was tampered with. This was a major concern and had the League on high alert.

*CANE'S POV*

Somethings wrong, very wrong. He had been in Bludhaven with Roy, Conner, and Klay when it happened. He froze and his vision synced up with Ken's.

It was like watching a movie in first person, the slaughter of the aliens and the saving of the girl. He was able to figure out who she was but what was really concerning was what he was feeling.

Ken's emotions...he and if he had to guess then the other clones felt it was well he was having some sort of panic attack.

That was the first of many problems that that little incident brought. Ken could sink up with his clones, but this is the first time that his clones synced up with him, and by the looks of it Ken didn't know.

He was luckily in the back of the RV pretending to sleep when it happened. He had frozen and was unable to speak while it happened. After he had immediately tried to call Ken, he didn't answer.

After the fifth missed call he decided to do clean up. He had left a mini bot with Oliver and company that would either go with them to the Watch Tower or would create a small program that would use the link to the Tower to create another link with an isolated laptop that Cane had.

He had used the link to erase everything they had on Ronin or Ken. He had left everything with him or the other clones but video footage of Ken even if it was streets over where he was nothing but a blob on a screen he erased.

He had also kept Watch for anyone or anything that might try to access those recordings and images. He wanted to know who was trying to gather info.

He would also get into contact with the other clones maybe they know what's up.

*RYU'S POV*

He had been in the middle of taking out a ring of human traffickers when it happened. It wasn't good at all.

Once it was over he was surrounded by disformed bullets and an assortment of broken items. He was lucky that they didn't grab a hostage while he was dealing with whatever happened.

He had disposed of them quickly, he usually didn't kill because he thought trash like them didn't deserve death, but now...he needed to end this fast.

He had opened the containers and waited for the police. He was thinking about what to do next. As far as he knew Sozu and Hashirama were still training so he should find Cane and Jayden so they could find Ken and figure out what the fuck happened.

Hearing the distant sirens, he moved to a more hidden place so he could make sure that the cops were strait and wouldn't try to move them to another location or try to kill them.

It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened, and if they tried to do this to these people then he would break every bone in their body before he killed them.

*JAYDEN'S POV*

Well...hmmmm...he had plans, but he might have to put them on hold. He had with the help of Cane got Dr. Roquette to a safer place where she got a job working for a tech company that Cane had created. It was a place where Cane hoped to get some of the brightest minds to help either directly or indirectly find their way home, and to help people he guessed.

She of course didn't know nor would any of the people the hired know what the true purpose of the company would be but while they worked and made shit to help people, he and the rest of the clones worked to find a way back.

He had been making his way towards Vlatava to help the queen for a small favor in return. Like becoming a Count or something. It would give him diplomatic immunity and he could move with a bit more freedom, because he just knew that the Justice League or some other jack offs were going to try to get in their business.

It wouldn't do much for those who don't care much for the law, but it was red tape that would hold back those who did.

Right now, however he had to put those plans on hold and, find Ken incase he goes phyco and tries to destroy the world.

*SOZU'S POV*

That came at a very inconvenient time. He had been fighting with Bronze Tiger when it happened, and he got a little fucked up because of it. Several broken bones and one or two deep cuts that if he didn't bandage would cause him to bleed out.

He had come up with an excuse that his mentor somehow bought but now he had double the work out, and a very real death threat to worry about.

Part of him wants to go and look for Ken, but the other part of him knows that Ken won't be found unless he wants to be.

His clones of course have the best chance of finding him because...well they are him, but that also means that if he wants, he could dispel them if wants.

Its best if some of them stay back incase something happens. This won't be pretty and if Ken has gone mental or if his powers are going haywire then at least one of them need to stay back and if necessary, tell the Justice League.

*HASHIRAMA'S POV*

He had been lucky enough to be meditating when it happened, and he wanted more than anything to just go and help Ken, but he also knew that he and at least one other should stay back. Thats not even mentioning the man that was teaching him.

He agreed to teach him even after he didn't agree to his no kill policy. This world was filled with unspeakable danger, and he as well as the others know that they would be a target to any power-hungry asshole.

They don't know what's going on but if Ken needs help, then they might need to reach out to get it, and that in of itself was a major problem. Ken wouldn't want the weight of a genocide on a planetary level on his mind, and unless he can find a way to get his mental state better, he could end up doing that. The only people that stand a chance to stop him and won't try to use him are the Justice League.

That was a very, very, very last resort, and even then, he and the others would be reluctant to do so, hopefully they won't have to.

*GENERAL POV*

In a dark room several white screens can be seen, all were silent waiting for the one who called the meeting to begin.

"The alien girl has been taken in by the Justice League, the one who dealt with the invading force was a mercenary known as Ronin."

"All footage of the incident has disappeared and as well as any other documents related to Ronin."

"Do we know who did this?"

"No, but we do know that only one person had gone in and out of not only Lex Corp but Wane Tech and several other high security places without leaving a trace. A thief known as Techno-Baby. He might be behind this."

"Do we know if he took anything else, or did he just erase the files on Ronin?"

"It appears that he just erased the files on Ronin, we have begun to scrub everything, and began to move several operations."

"What should we do about Ronin and Techno-Baby? One has proven to be a problem for the light and the other just showed that he couldn't solo a small invasion force."

"We should have them both killed they could ruin everything."

"We should try to recruit them; they could prove to be an asset to us."

"Please calm down. I understand your concerns, but rest assured they will be handled one way or the other.

After all, sooner or later everyone sees the light."

*KEN'S POV*

Harsh cold winds blew around me as I sat on a mountain top on a pile of snow. I've been here for a while, and I don't know why. I should just get back to it but...I just can't.

Soft crunching could be heard over the harsh winds. Someone plopped down next to me, bright colors and a big smile greeted me.

"Hey man long time no see!"

I blinked once, twice I've officially lost it.

This person was dead, way back in my first life he died about four years before I kicked the bucket.

"What no hug?"

Ken: "You're dead."

"*snort* no shit, that doesn't mean you have to be a dick. I am your brother after all right Eli. *snap* No! You go by Ken now, right?"

Ken: "Shut up Alex, you're not real so just shut up."

A warm arm wrapped around my shoulder bright green eyes entered my vision paired with a bright annoying smile and swept back dirty blonde hair.

Alex: "GA! Come on man stop being so depressing! You are in a comic book world! Have some fun!"

Ken: "I'm just tired man."

Alex: "Yeah losing everything twice can make ya feel like that no doubt. But that just means ya gotta mourn properly and find people that ya can talk to...maybe get laid."

Ken: "*groan* just leave."

Alex: "HAHAHAHA! Sorry man but I'm gunna be here for as long as you need me."

Ken: "I DON'T need you...or anyone else. I just need to get my shit together and move on."

Alex: "Eh that's easier said than done and you have never been good with your emotions.

As for not needing me...if that were true than I wouldn't be here. Come on Ken lets go, I think your clones are planning something."

Groaning I got up and pulled out my phone that I crushed out of anger. It kept ringing, and it was the only thing I could think of to get it to stop.

As unreal as my hallucination is, it was right about me needing to move. Sulking won't solve anything.

I just needed to keep moving forward.
