30 Doing More

*KEN'S POV*

I just got done with Match after two days. Getting rid of his rage was easy, just some minor adjustments to his brain.

What took me two days to finish was his lack of personality. For the Nomu there was a little something there to jump start their memories, but with him? Nothing but primal rage.

The suggestions that they tried to plant in his brain were drowned by his rage. I managed to put in common knowledge. Math, science, English (and a few other languages).

His fine motor functions will need some work especially with his strength, but that is no longer my problem. I was going to dump them with the Justice League. Galatea would go to the Kent's.

As I finished my Cane clone entered. "I'm done. Is the thumb drive with the info on Cadmus ready? I want to move as soon as possible."

Not getting an answer I turned to my clone. He had a sheepish smile and was fidgeting slightly. What was thi-...No.

Ken: "No."

Cane: "Come on. Just listen to me."

Ken: "N.O."

Cane clicked a button and a screen popped out showing a power point.

[Why you should allow me to make my own team.

Created by: Cane.

Presented by: Cane]

Ken: "N-"

Cane: "So! As you know we are here in the DC universe against our will.

We have been making an effort to find a way back, but so far have not gotten much headway. So, I'd like to create a team to help us not only in our endeavor to get home, but to help the people!

This team would of course be led by me, and would focus on..."

*3 hours later*

Cane: "...and that's why I need a tank."

Ken: "No"

Cane looked at Ken with an unreadable expression on his face. This stare down went on for about a minute before Cane spoke. "I know that you just want to get home. I know that you have already done more for them than most.

But you can do more.

You can help them find themselves. You know that Roy will go rouge and Superboy will be put on a throwaway team to wait until Superman is ready to confront him.

Sure, they might stay with the Kent's and Roy might reconcile with Oliver, but we both know better.

We both know how some victims of rape deal with the children that come from it. While Superman wasn't raped, he will still feel violated.

Roy is rash he will go on his own. We have seen this in the show, and this isn't a show, this is real life. Superman has human emotions, and we have no idea how he will react. We both know how such an event can make a good person treat someone else.

*sigh* Look I'm not asking you to take them in and raise them like you did with Eri.

I'm asking you to give them a place to go to where they can be away from rejection, away from a constant reminder of how unwanted they are in the case of Superboy and Galatea and feeling replaceable for Roy."

Ken: "They have people that will be there for them, to help them. They don't need me, or you too be accepted."

Turning Ken began to make his way out. This was stupid this would only bring trouble. It would get in his way one way or the other. Besides, he isn't a therapist he can't help them like that.

It's for the best not only for them but for him if they just left.

Cane: "Hahaha running away again? I should have known, that's all you've done so far, right?

It started when you ran from your parents, understandable, but you never stopped did you? You ran from heroes, villains, police...the truth.

Fuck! You ran from yourself. Ronin, Hawkeye, Senju, Beast, Yomi, Techno-Baby, and here you are after finally starting to think that maybe you should stop and try to form some connections, you run at the first sign of trouble."

Growling Ken turned around and grabbed Cane slamming him into the wall of the RV. "Just shut the fuck up."

Cane: "Hahaha Come on Ken, you know that's not my style. Out of the clones you have I'm the only one that didn't base his personality off of you.

You can go around and say that you are training, but we both know better don't we."

Ken could dispel this clone and be done with this. He should, but before he could do so a sound filled the room. "WAAAAA WAAAA!!!"

Ken turned towards the sound before turning back to Cane.

Cane: "You gunna run from that too?"

Shoving his clone, Ken went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle. "Do what you want, but this better not come back to bite me. Because if it does..."

Chuckling Cane nodded. "Yeah, yeah, or the big bad Ken will do horrible things to me."

*CANES POV*

Truth be told that went better than expected. He expected to be dispelled right away.

Cane wasn't dumb, he knew what he proposed had a lot and when he says a lot he means A LOT of risks. Shit he almost didn't go through with it, but he knew that it could help.

Not them getting back, like it might, but more like help Ken. He only really had Eri back in the MHA world and now that she is gone. He isn't making new connections; he is reverting for the worst.

It of course isn't like during the war, but it'll only be a matter of time. Ken was powerful more than he realized. If he went all out, he could wipe out all life on the planet in so many different ways. And to top that off he could make five (six if he uses the copy mirror) clones that can do the same.

Someone like that being mentally unstable isn't good. Sure, he isn't like batshit or killing for the sake of killing but if we don't nip this in the butt it could end in disaster.

I'm not saying that we should stop looking for a way back, but he also has to acknowledge the fact that there might not be a way back, or that the thing that sent him here won't let him go back.

It's a risk especially if we get sent to another world, but it's better to love and loss than to never have loved in the first place.

*KEN'S POV*

After feeding Galatea Ken left. He didn't want to think about what he and Cane talked about. Closing his eyes as he lay on top of a skyscraper, he began to think of something else.

What did he copy from Wonder Woman? She wasn't a meta and from what he knew she got many of her powers from the magic items.

So, what did he copy? If he remembered correctly, she was made out of clay. No...that was true for a little while then her origins changed. Zues raped her mom and she got pregnant with her.

Pulling out his phone he began to search videos of Wonder Woman. She didn't show any lighting abilities. We're they sealed? Did she not know or was there something else going on.

The few abilities he copied were like slightly tougher skin and bones. Nothing of note but, it showed that humanity was beginning to evolve maybe even like the MHA world.

That being said why did he copy Wonder Woman's abilities? Again, she wasn't a meta, so what did he copy? That's not even mentioning what he copied from the clones.

Enhanced strength, speed, durability and the ability to gain power from the sum. They were aliens and clones at that.

Deathstroke was enhanced but he didn't copy anything from him. He hasn't come across many of the super-powered individuals here but of the ones he had he hadn't copied anything.

Closing his eyes in focus and found someone. Poison Ivy was a famous meta and powerful. He had yet to encounter her so he shouldn't have her ability copied.

Using an item that made him invisible he used his warp sword too get near her. While a little ways away, he was close enough to keep her in his sights while not getting her attention.

Nothing. He copied nothing, she was definitely in his range, but he had yet to copy anything. Frowning he closed his eyes again and looked for someone else.

The Flash was currently stopping a robbery, so he was easy to find. Ken appeared in an alley close to the bank. Still nothing, he was in range, but nothing.

What the hell was going on? Why did he copy from Wonder Woman, and the clones but not them? Deciding to try one more time he teleported towards Martian Man Hunter.

He had to really keep his distance this go around but he should be able to go unnoticed. John looked like some 40s detective and was eating at a dinner. As he approached, he copied something.

Telekinesis, phase shifting, shape shifting psychic powers and a few others. Now, why did he copy them. Leaving before he was noticed Ken began to think about what they all had in common.

He copied from a demigod, an alien and from clones of an alien.

He didn't copy from a speedster, a plant girl and a genetically enhanced assassin.

Poison Ivy and Flash had gotten their powers later on in life. The clones Martian Man Hunter and Wonder Woman were born with their powers. Is that the difference?

GA! This was confusing! Why can't shit just stay simple!?!?! Closing his eyes he decided to focus on something else, preferably something that won't give him a headache.

*JADEN POV*

He got some interesting info. Apparently, Bane is at war with Cobra. So, it looks like some of the events from Young Justice are starting.

That means that the organization The Light most likely exists. Which if they keep their heads down, they can avoid for the most part.

Limping towards his cot he wondered when he could go out again. He and the other members of the Shadows that were on the mission with Talia were punished. Harsher training and all that.

He honestly didn't mind, better than following that entitled bitch around. Laying down on the cot Jayden let out a low groan. Harsh training indeed.

Sleep had nearly taken him when someone entered his room. It was an older member that he didn't know the name of.

Assassin: "Come the Demons Head has a mission for you."

Eh Ras? This could be bad. I've done my best to avoid attention but if I really am being called by the leader than my cover might be blown.

Subtlety tightening and loosening my muscles to warm up and get rid of the soreness that had taken over, I began to map my way out.

I might be able to make it out if I'm not stopped. The biggest problem will be Ras, he is old and experienced. Hmmm I might be fucked here.
