3 LIZZIE'S PREDICAMENT

There are times in everybody's life when we somehow feel that something bad is gonna happen ........ in most of the times it doesn't happen , but when it does , it makes us want to turn back time ... only if we were capable enough , so there are only 2 options that a person in ordinary situations has either surrender or retaliate !!!

Lizzie was a calm and analytical person who rarely lost her temperament , the only thing in her life worth losing temper were her beloved ones .

Seeing the ting droplets of blood, Lizzie's heart shrank .... the worst had come true 'Su was kidnapped.'

Her breathing went abnormal , within seconds she was so muddle headed that she couldn't think clearly what the further course of actions she has to take !!!!

" Only war determines the worth of a soldier " , Remembering her father's words of wisdom she tried to tranquil herself down telling herself to 'Breathe in , breathe out' ....' in , out.' while oscillating to and fro , to and fro.

Searching for some clues Lizzie started wandering in the surroundings of the pond in question.

Suddenly she saw a piece of cloth stuck in one of the looming branches of the tree , there was no doubt that it was definitely the torn piece of her sister's sleeve!! ,

Elizabeth pondered over the dire situation ...... and the whole scene rewinded itself and played in her head akin to a photo essay , 'she was gone for half an hour Sophie must have taken 5-10 minutes to come by the pond and must have searched for something to drink from .... it must have been when the goons must have attacked her , Su was not a warrior but she sure must have stalled them for sometime , all in all there it must have taken them atleast 20 minutes ' .There were clear signs of protest and they couldn't escape lizzie's hawk like eyes .'In the end she must have lost in the tug of war', thanks to which clear footprints could be seen on the land .... they couldn't have gone too far, their nearest camp was 35 minutes away, there was definite chance to catch them if she reacted fast enough , after pondering all this for a while she whistled ,within seconds 'TEJA' her beloved horse came bolting in her direction , she mounted it and went in the direction of the shoe steps...

Within some 15 minutes (time which felt like a decade to Lizzie who was on tenterhooks) , with her riding skills and Teja's bolting speed , they were able to close in the gap between them and that was when she heard something or someone , she was positive that the bandits were nearby , reining in she dismounted Teja and creeped in the direction of the loud voices .... apparently these people were not even scared of getting caught of their misdeed ...

She took a vantage point , hiding herself behind the tree so she could see her opponents ....surprisingly there were 4 of them , 'But the footprints were of 5',she questioned herself.

'Aiya !! Su was also with them' she reasoned with herself .

The bandits looked like monstrous beasts lurking around little Su with their malicious intent . Lizzie swallowed her anger .She needed her rationality to win this battle.

But there were still 4 of them and 1 of her , she needed to distract some of them .

Lizzie was very pleased Seeing the horses nearby, collecting the heaviest stone she started throwing them at the horses , scared from which the horses started bucking , jumping, kicking the bandits so hard that 2 of them lost the grip on the reins and collapsed on the grounds.' 2 gone ,2 more to go' Lizzie mumbled.

"catch them !! you idiots" , snarled one of them. Hearing his command 2 of them started running towards the horse in an attempt to catch them.

While the other 2 were looking in the direction of the running horses Lizzie came charging at them and kicked both of them in their guts catching them off guard . Both of them fell on their knees , one of them covered his mouth to stop the scream whilst the other his gut , Lizzie bent down and snapped both their necks . "that was easy" ,Lizzie said in self admiration , with this she went running towards her sister whose back was leaning against the tree, hands were roped and cloth was stuffed in her mouth.... removing the cloth and opening rope's knot Lizzie hugged her Su who was trembling severely .The next moment Su started crying on Lizzie's shoulder as if it was her doomsday (which it was)

"It's ok darling I am here , I will protect you now " , said a soothing voice placing both her palms on SU's face consoling her patiently.

Suddenly she realised that her sister's cloth were torn apart . This enraged Lizzie like nothing else If not for this , she might have left them unscathed but now she couldn't 'how dared they land their hands on her precious sister???'. Without even asking anything from Su she removed her cape and wrapped it to around her sister's shoulder and with a blank face she said," Wait for me near Teja.....I need to teach somebody a lesson!!". There was firm resolution on her face.

"Lizzie please I beg you !! Let's just leave now before it's too late", seeing the murderous aura and intent in Lizzie's eyes Su understood there was no point in saying anything so she complied !!

IN the meantime the 2 bandits returned after chasing the horses , before they could even analyse that SU was amiss, they were attacked by Elizabeth's sword ....

*BOOM*BAM*BOOM*BAM*

Within a few minutes the other 2 were also lying on the floor . This time around lizzie didn't even let them be unconscious ..... tying them in a similar fashion to how they tied Su , contentment was flashing in bold letters on Su's forehead. Leaning towards the bandit's leader's head she said, "Just because I don't want Su to see this."

Before he could understand , a knife was pierced with great force in between his thighs. A chill ran down his spine. Seeing knife inches close to his manhood his eyes bulged out from his sockets. Lizzie took one of their horses and with Su rode towards their home's direction.

After riding for a few minutes ,Lizzie whose temperature now returned to normal finally spoke ...

" Su I know today has been a hell day for you , but could you please not reveal it to mom and dad ??? "

"why ? I believe dad must be dying to hear THE ADVENTURES OF ELIZABETH " , chuckled Sophie.

"it's not funny Su", said Lizzie in a cold and serious tone.

"DO you take me for an idiot Lizzie ? of course I won't tell anyone about our endeavours don't worry" , seeing the assurance in her sister's eyes Lizzie's mood lightened up .

"Obviously you are an idiot , if not how could you get caught hiding behind the tree huh??"

"Because of that dwarf."

As the revelation struck her , Lizzie halted with a jolt as she reined in. She gave Sophie a 'what are you saying' look ,which she couldn't understand . Having again landed in their predicament , Lizzie said "Sophieeeeee runnnnnnn!!" , with this Lizzie kicked her leg and with the jerk the horse started galloping.
