1 Going to another world
A 16-year-old was running across a street until a truck came across and bashed him in the face killing him instantly. He awoke inside a cozy yet small fireplace in which there were two seats facing opposite to one another, he took a seat a continued to look around the cabin to notice that there was no one else and just some books around the place and some light decoration of paintings.
"I was on the way to school and now I'm here. Did I die?" Zheng Lie thought to himself.
Then suddenly opposite to him in the other chair an old man appears, he has short white hair but a long flowing beard to match. His eyes were a bright emerald green giving the old man a mysterious aura.
"Who are you?" Zheng Lie asked curiously wondering if this was his guide to the afterlife.
"Zheng Lie, I am God and I am here to send you to your next life." the old man replied as a teapot and two cups appeared and he took one stirring it.
"G-god! Damn, I hope I don't go hell." Zheng Lie thought to himself.
"Don't worry about hell, I brought you directly here because I have a proposal for you." God replied.
"You can hear my thoughts? Actually, of course, you can. But what is this proposal?" Zheng Lie enquired.
"I want to send you to another world with three wishes." God answered as he took a sip of his tea.
"I see, in that case, get someone else." Zheng Lie replied.
*PSHHHH*
"Cough. Sorry about that." God apologized because he just spat out his tea at Zheng Lie's response.
"That's ok, but can I go on my way now?" Zheng Lie questioned.
"Can I first ask why you do not wish to go to another world?" God asked curiously with an eyebrow raised.
"It's simple you said I do not need to worry about hell. In that case, does that not mean I will go to Heaven. Therefore what's better, going to another world or going paradise." Zheng Lie simply replied.
"Oh I see, but I meant you will be sent back to the reincarnation cycle." Zheng Lie retorted.
This caused Zheng Lie to silently sit there panicking before asking "W-wait can I take you back up on that offer?"
"Haha~ of course, you can." God quickly replied with a light-hearted chuckle. as he then continued to ask "What world do you wish to go to?"
After some deep thought, Zheng Lie finally replied "Rebirth of the Urban Immortal Cultivator."
"I see and your wishes?" God questioned.
Zheng Lie then quickly answered; "My first wish is to be able to have omnipotent knowledge."
"Ok, then it will be done." God replied.
"My second wish is limitless potential in everything and anything." Zheng Lie continued.
"Your final wish?" God asked with interest.
"I wish to be able to change myself freely." Zheng Lie answered with confidence.
"Haha~ I knew thought I would meet someone to wish for such." God laughed.
"What time will I be transmigrated to the world?" Zheng Lie questioned.
"You will travel during the time Chen Fan had awakened if that helps. Also to begin your journey merely drink the tea before you." God replied pointing to a now filled cup of tea before Zheng Lie.
"Thank you for this opportunity." Zheng Lie replied as he shotted the tea in one gulp.
"Then I will wish you luck on your journey." God said as an azure light surrounded Zheng Lie as he disappeared and reappeared besides a school that read 'IVY international high school.'
"I'm here." Zheng Lie said staring intensely at the sign.
Then a wave of memories hit Zheng Lie. These memories showed Zheng Lie that he is an orphan who is 16 and had studied hard and now ended up being able to study at 'IVY international high school' and has just transferred today. Which in contrast Chen Fan would arrive tomorrow. There were also memories of how his abilities worked which would be of great help.
Zheng Lie then found a quiet area in the school to which he began to concentrate, during this process he began to change his body, it was around 188 cm now (6'2) with a lean muscular body shape, wolf like amber eyes, and extremely soft and smooth skin with his healthy complexion. All this made him because extremely handsome much more than any model that existed as well as any cultivator.
He then continued to think and suddenly something showed itself in his mind, it was a holographic panel with a single anagram written on it 'DNA' with this it showed Zheng Lie current DNA, which was made of just human DNA for now. He began to slowly modify it bit by bit until it ended up as a demi-god with the remaining being of a human's ultimate evolution, the apex human. His DNA was therefore 50% demi-god and 50% apex human. He knew the perks of these as a demi-god would allow it so he could not be killed unless by another demigod along with the other perks it had with control over all the elements and affinity with the universe in general. The apex human would greatly benefit his cultivation allowing him to comprehend moves faster and absorb Qi much quicker which coupled with his limitless potential would be insane.
He then decided he should hurry to class otherwise he would be late on his first day. He rushed into the school before stopping outside class 3-9. he entered to see not many students had arrived yet despite it being 2 minutes until class would start. He just decided to take a free seat despite he could sit beside Jiang Tangqiu but Zheng Lie never actually cared for him so decided to take another seat as he was not going to make friends with anyone in this class anyway.
The teacher then entered as well as many other students behind her who then walked in and took their seats. The teacher then announced, "We have a transfer student today, Zheng Lie if you would introduce yourself."
Zheng Lie then stood up and said "I am Zheng Lie, it's a pleasure to meet you all."
Many in the class began to talk amongst themselves, "He's so handsome." many of the girls said causing Zheng Lie to get daggers staring towards him. Then most of the boys refuted "He may be handsome but his introduction was ordinary, I doubt he's even worth knowing."
After which the teacher told everyone to be quiet before beginning the class....
A/N I don't really know what to do and just decided to do this with my other fanfics. I don't have a lot of free time and write these chapters whenever I have time switching between my phone and PC so I'll apologize for any mistakes in grammar etc...
