60 Diary 60: Fateful Meeting
"Young lad, you're in love with someone" the fortune-teller lady speaks enchantingly as her hands move in a circular motion above the fortune-teller ball. Crow blushes in a few shades of red. His golden eyes glance at Min Soo who doesn't seem to understand what's the fortune teller saying.
Not even David knows what's inside Crow's mind for requesting a fortune teller's help in regards to his love life. David and Min Soo exchange looks of confusion, they wouldn't have thought that the awkward Crow would be able to develop a crush on someone out of nowhere, it is as if the cupid did its job properly.
"Wait a minute, I never heard any of this" David clicks his tongue. "You had a crush on someone? Did you meet a nice girl in this city?".
"That's not it, you dumb" Crow growls uncomfortably at David. "Anyway, I want to ask her something so SHOO! No need to listen to my prattling!".
David and Min Soo want to stay obviously, the two of them are curious about this new crush that Crow is interested in. However, Crow knowing how curious they are, still shoo them anyway. Min Soo and David end up being shooed by their comrade, the two find themselves outside the fortune-teller hut.
Still, the fortune-teller's appearance seems to be familiar, she looks like the Goddess who just beat him up. Seeing a familiar silhouette scares the Idol, especially the silhouette of an abuser who tortured him mentally and physically. Suddenly David grabs Min Soo's hand, his navy eyes focus on Min Soo's bronze orbs.
The prince swallows his saliva, perhaps nervous and bothered by something. David decides to ask Min Soo directly, the man pulls Min Soo closer. The Idol's heart palpitates faster the moment the gaps between their faces are getting closer.
"Min Soo, there's something that I want to tell you" he sighs while rubbing his head. "Since Crow wouldn't be here, I thought of asking you out".
"Ah, asking me out?" Min Soo asks the puzzled explorer. "Why the sudden plan?".
David doesn't answer his questions, he remains in silent mode. However, the way he intertwined his fingers with Min Soo tells a different story. It's an intimate touch coming from the prince himself. David smiles slightly at Min Soo's blushing expression, he clutches his fingers with Min Soo's hand.
Kim Min Soo smiles back at the prince, his heart turns warm the moment their skin grazes each other. However, he knows that the warm touch he receives may not be forever. Because he knows that their relationship is still vague. They're just fuck buddies for all they know, instead of official lovers.
"I want to invite you somewhere just the two of us" David cups Min Soo's forehand. "Just the two of us".
Min Soo smiles at the sudden proactiveness coming from David, the two hold hands while venturing away from the purple hut. They're exploring the festivals like how a couple does, it brings tiny hope to Min Soo's heart. Grabbing Min Soo's fragile hand, David's smile grows wider when Min Soo accidentally trips due to nervousness.
Enjoying the festivities with only both of them makes the two as if they're already an official couple. David buys Min Soo a balloon, buys him various colorful items and enjoys the festivities as a couple. Holding hands, David often hugs him from behind, he's being touchy and sweet that it gives Min Soo a bit of goosebump.
It feels too surreal to feel such kindness and warmness coming from David's usual cold exterior. Min Soo hopes that his kindness lasts forever, that his touch stays permanent warmly at his body. It's Min Soo's neediness, he's in love with David but he's uncertain whether David feels the same way as his.
Knowing his dating history, he wouldn't be surprised if David only wants him as only fuck buddies. After all, he did the same thing to Tae Min; he deserves some punishment for what he did to Tae Min. His smile curls into a frown, here he is still in Arkhansas City with no clue to find Tae Min.
He wonders if he will be able to see Tae Min in that colorful city where they stay. Meeting him there would be a miracle. Just when the man thought he would be free from his overthinking, he suddenly bumps into someone on accident. The same ice cream David bought for him falls on his blue shirt, Min Soo looks up only to see a familiar face.
It's Tae Min, with a certain hooded boy next to him. Tae Min panicked when his ice cone falls on Min Soo, doesn't seem to realize that it's Min-Soo; he immediately pulls a handkerchief from his trusty pocket to wipe the ice cream on the blue shirt.
"I'm so sorry! I'll wipe it out for you! How much is the laundry!?" the raven-haired man looks at the stained blue shirt. "Are you alright!?".
"Tae Min?" Min Soo widens his eyes when he realizes it's indeed Tae Min.
Tae Min changes his hairstyle and color, but the man's features are indeed the famous model from Seoul. It's Min Soo's friends with benefits, the man that Min Soo calls if he ever needs a stress reliever. Their eyes meet, that's when Tae Min notices the familiar face of the so-called Siren.
Kim Min Soo is the main vocalist of Mystica Boyband Group, the man he eloped so many times in a secret motel. Their strained relationship lately doesn't make their meeting any better, the two are frozen at their place. David and the hooded boy raise their suspicion when they're frozen, David calls Min Soo out.
"Min Soo?" David asks the frozen Idol. "What's wrong? Do you know this man?".
David leers toward the tall-figured man, a pang of jealousy shows from his frown. The hooded boy next to David peers from his colorful cyan hood, it appears to be someone from royalty. From the look of the boy's appearance, he seems to be someone coming out from Fairytales book.
A young boy with orange hair and beautiful jade eyes peers toward Min Soo and David. His curious eyes aimed toward the two strangers who stands next to Tae Min. Not knowing what to say, the two only stand in silence while letting their partners do the talking. David asks the hooded young man, while the man responds in polite manners.
Both Min Soo and David immediately know that the young man must be from the Royalty family, his speech and demeanors reflect the household of the Royalty. What on earth did Tae Min get himself into? Why is he with the Royalty family? And why is he here? There are so many unanswered questions that need to be answered.
