59 Diary 59: Arkhansas Sports Fest

Min Soo pats the greyhound that escapes the innkeeper watches, he doesn't remember what he named the cute dog. It would be nice if David and he could think of a name together, his face blushes when David's face shows up in his mind in whatever he's doing. Min Soo knows this feeling is not the same when he's with Tae Min.

It's something deeper and sweeter than how he feels toward Tae Min, the man knows that he's trapped in the feeling called love. He knows that it's dangerous for him to develop a feeling for a person, especially one from a foreign world. The man is afraid of not being able to let go of David when the time comes.

The dog comes closer to Min Soo, caressing his body to Min Soo's body happily. Min Soo chuckles as he sees the Greyhound likes him more than he thought. His doubts remain the same, the doubt that David might be affected by his passive ability as a charmer. He doesn't have the luxury to ask the angry Goddess at that time.

His eyes peer toward Crow and David who walk side by side, feeling a bit left out that he's just an outsider. He was never been close to David like Crow was, a pang of jealousy grows inside his insecure heart. Min Soo pouts a bit, annoyed with his jealousy and the fact he's jealous of Crow who considers David as his brother.

Before David came and interrupted them, the two talked about David and Crow's past. The two brothers are unrelated by blood, even so, David's parents are kindred spirits. Crow told him how joyful he was when he stayed with David as his adopted brother, but his guilt took over when he sets off for a solo mission without telling David.

The moment he got home, all he could saw was David's sorrow, Luna's fright, and their dearest corpses. They wouldn't have thought that the demons could infiltrate their bodyguard's defenses, not to mention that there are more than five demons around their household.

Min Soo sighs as he remembers Crow's bitter expression when he told him his story.

He was overwhelmed by guilt, thus the man decided to left the household to live on his own. It was his own decision that caused him to develop great loneliness. Crow didn't say anything about his loneliness. However, his loneliness is visible enough for Kim Min Soo to see, the lone wolf tries his best to look strong.

However, rather than being strong, the man looks hurtful and pained. Crow is not exactly honest with his feelings.

"Poor man" Min Soo thoughts as he sees David's back from a distance. "The man must have held so much pain while being apart from his brother".

Not long after, the two gentlemen bring three rock salt ice cream cones. David flashes his princely smile as he hands the other cone to Min Soo.

Min Soo immediately locks his eyes on the chocolate with peanut ice cream, his tongue licks the surface of the ice cream. The chocolate ice cream riches with peanut butter flavor surprises him. The cold temperature freezes his cheek.

However, the ice cream is rich in chocolate and peanuts; the two flavors that Min Soo likes. The young man fancy sweets and milk, considering that he's insecure with his one hundred seventy centimeters height.

Min Soo savors the ice cream slowly, enjoying the crispness of the nuts. Crow and David focus their gaze on Min Soo's tongue that swirls on the ice cream substances.

Swallowing their salivas, the two gentlemen glances at Min Soo carefully and intensely like lab rats. Min Soo notices the intensity in their gazes but he pretends to be oblivious.

"Is it that delicious?" Crow asks Min Soo.

"I think so" Min Soo replies short. "Don't you have the same flavor, you haven't tried it yet?".

Crow licks the tip of the ice cream, rather than feeling ecstatic the gentleman clenches his jaw tightly.

"This is so sweet, too sweet!" Crow complained. "I don't really like sweets, David you like this kind of thing?".

"Not really, just normal" David replies while shrugging, seemingly uninterested. "I don't mind eating sweets, but it's not exactly my favorite".

Min Soo tilts his chin, if he doesn't like sweets then why did he make the effort to show him around the City about its famous culinary? Perhaps, it's his way to show them that he's knowledgeable, to assert dominance that he's particularly smart in this field. However, Min Soo's thought of another thing, but again uncertain with his assumption.

"It's been a while since we spend our time together" Crow smiles. "We should use our free time to relax, while we can".

"Agree" David grins.

Seeing the two colleagues converses like brothers, brings warmness to Min Soo's chest. The three of them walk around the City while enjoying the festivities. There is also Fortune Telling Hut, a strange place where you can get your future being read by the expert. Min Soo's eyes brighten up, his eyes glance slightly at David.

The idol hopes that David takes an interest in the purple hut with the writing, 'Fortune Telling'.

"One can tell that it's a fake fortune-telling" David rubs his forehead. "Only the Gods knows what happens, they have Godly Insights and Overseer to watch over the future of-".

"You're being a party pooper now" Crow sighs. "You and your history lesson that is".

Strangely enough, Crow is the first one to suggest trying out the fortune-telling. He approaches the medium-sized purple hut without a care in the world, Min Soo and David gawked at the sudden boldness coming from Crow.

"What the? What is that fool doing?" David gawk at Crow's sudden interest. "Did he hit his head on the table?".

"I don't know, why don't we check it out?" Min Soo suggests.

The two follows suit, Crow already entered the hut and seated himself in front of a mysterious fortune-teller. Since dogs are not allowed on the premises, the greyhound has to wait outside the hut.

The dog barks sadly as if telling their masters that he will feel lonely. Min Soo and David kneel and reassures the poor dog that they will return soon after Crow finishes his business.

Getting inside the hut, Min Soo manages to see bits of the fortune teller's hair from a distance, her blonde hair especially shines mysteriously in the darkness. The moment she speaks, Min Soo immediately had a suspicion. David sits next to Crow since there's an empty seat next to him.

He knows this voice, that's what he thought at that time when the woman asks of Crow's request.

"Young man, what is it that you want to ask me?" the fortune-teller asks the awkward Crow.

"I want to know if I will meet someone important to me" Crow stutters while blushing.

David claps his hand as soon as Crow asks the unpredictable question.

"What is this? Are you finally in that phase Crow?" David smirks proudly. "Do you have a crush on someone?".

"Shut up David" Crow peers his eyes toward Min Soo who stands behind David, his eyes dilated as soon their eyes meet. Min Soo merely tilts his chin, curious with the sudden change of heart coming from the awkward Crow.

"Anyway just be quiet! I just want to know about that okay!?" Crow is strangely agitated, losing his cool. "So yeah, don't make fun of me David! You too Min Soo".

Min Soo and David smile seeing the cold bounty hunter becoming more bashful when it comes to the topic of love, he's indeed an angel in disguise.
