52 Diary 52: Caged Emotions

The Gods gather in the luxury ballroom, the six elementals Gods have to gather in regards to the vision They all saw that night. The vision of Min Soo slaughtering the humans and desecrate the mortal realms with chaos.

The warriors that were chosen by the Aquos Goddess of Love, Aphrodite are responsible for the upcoming mass massacres.

The God of Thundara, God of Firos, Goddess of Crystals, God of Plantae, the God of Darkra, and the Goddess of Illumi. Surely, the Gods are aware that one of them is absent in the room. Aphrodite is nowhere to be seen, all they can speculate is that woman probably descended to earth and disguise herself as a mortal.

"That woman is nowhere to be seen, is She that foolish? Descending into the mortal realm, as usual, She's full of surprises" the God of Thunder speaks in a demanding tone. His long blonde hair along with his golden beard become the main focus of the room.

He was called as a God of Thundara for a reason; the bearded man after all is the leader of the Gods Association. "Perhaps, She's fooling around with mortals? Isn't that how She is?" The God of Darkness, the man with husky and purple slanted eyes speaks sinisterly.

The God of Darkra controls and manipulates darkness as He wishes, His counterpart The Goddess of Ilumi is an unknown entity. None of the Gods know Her origins, but she's there because she can manipulate light.

"Min Soo, that wench will be the cause of our downfall!" The Firos God slams his fist into the pillar next to him. "That Love Goddess will exterminate Min Soo for us, wouldn't She!?".

"No one knows that for sure" the Plantae God answers in a relaxed tone. "However, he would be a great addition to my collection if he were to die".

"Again with the creepy words, Plantae" the Goddess sighs. "In any case, the Gods name are merely codenamed".

The whole room filled in silence, as if the Crystal Goddess made them realize something. She sighs as She looks at Her peers, brute fellows and foolishness crosses their faces. Laughing sinisterly, the Crystal Goddess looks at Her fellow Gods as she points at them with a crazed expression.

"Come on! Don't make me laugh! Do you consider yourself as God for real!?" the woman laughs hysterically. "You're kidding me! You guys are so stupid you know that! We were just given these roles to maintain the World intact".

"You don't have to remind us that, we are truly aware of our position" The God of Thundara speaks. "It is just a role, but while we're at it; there's no harm in trying to be one true God".

Sanctus Luminera is a playground for the Gods, fiddling their threads to control the mortal realms; They truly find pleasure in deciding which pawn dies first based on the fiction they wrote on a thread called fate. Sanctus Luminera is these so-called Gods chessboards, the warriors and the citizens are the pawns.

"Let's see how Aphrodite addresses the situation, shall we?" The Darkra God laughs sarcastically.

"Min Soo, I have always loved you!" a teenage girl bows her head in front of the well-dressed Min Soo at the school gate. "Can we date?".

The Idol remembers how popular he is amongst his peers for his good looks. Girls often find themselves captivated by Min Soo and confessed to him. Min Soo is reminiscing of the uniform he wears, his eyes filled in nostalgia; ignoring the bowing girl in front of him. Moreover, his brain is still befuddled by the fact why he time-traveled to the past.

Min Soo already uses all kinds of methods to hurt himself, that includes slicing bits of his palm, pinching his own skin, and slap himself. He's not dreaming, he's inside his school once more. Meeting his old friends, the young man can only smile at the appearance of familiar faces around them.

However, the mystery remains thick; knowing that he should have been dead under the Goddess's torture.

"Perhaps, this is hell? Is this afterlife?" Min Soo questions his sanity.

Experiencing high school is a no-no for Min Soo, since that time was the worst tragedy that occurred. Min Soo's mother destroyed his PC and microphone since the two objects are the one that hinders Min Soo from reaching his full potential at school. It was what his mother believed at that time, it left a deep scar inside his heart.

He doesn't exactly remember when it happened, but sooner or later it will happen. Min Soo doesn't want to experience the same hell, why is he cursed in this terrible timestamp?

"Min Soo-ssi?" the girl looks up, expecting Kim Min Soo to answers her confession but all he did is gaping his mouth in confusion.

"Sorry, I don't want to date anyone" Min Soo gives a quick reply as he slides away from the girl.

Entering his class which is on the first floor, the Idol receives some flirty glances from the girls, since he's smart and a talented one too. Despite that fact, Min Soo was never been loved for what he is. Constantly mocked, rejected, and broken by his parents' attitude. Min Soo's father didn't bat an eye toward his mother's cruelty.

Min Soo's mother always demands him to be the best, to follow her ideals of what a successful person is.

"You hate her from the bottom of her heart right?" a sinister voice whispers inside Min Soo's head when he takes a seat at his class.

The young man ruffles his natural black hair in frustration, dizziness, and a pang of pain circling his brain. As if frying the man in a black cloud, Min Soo's sweat drizzles his forehead.

Knowing that the voices just won't stop even if he tries to hold it in. Min Soo whispers to himself to make the voice stop, but the voice inside his head only gets worse over time.

The voice tells him to kill his parents, it's the only solution to end his neverending pain.

"Kill them, kill them kill them" the sinister voice plagues his mind like festering wounds.

"MAKE IT STOP!" Min Soo yells as he stands up from his seat; in the middle of a lesson even. His classmates and teacher are surprised of course, their eyes are aiming at the despaired Min Soo. All of this must have been narrated by Aphrodite, that Goddess must be the cause of his suffering and the fact that he's trapped in hell.

"Please, just stop talking" Min Soo whispers to himself as he seats himself, not forgetting to apologize beforehand.

Looking at his left and right, are his school friends.

"You seem to be out of it, what's wrong Min Soo?" the curly-haired male asks the Idol.

"Nothing" Min Soo answers flatly.

"Well, you know that new game called Legends of the Boba? Wanna try that after your cram school?" this time an unknown straight-haired man on his right asks him.

Min Soo is somewhat glad that they're thoughtful, he can't remember their names but at least they're concerned for his well-being. He had school friends, used to anyway since now they've been pretty busy.

"Sure, let's go" Min Soo answers lightly.

Arriving at home, it's quite late since Min Soo had to attend a cram school. His head cleared up after a few studying and listening to chill music, not noticing that his hand goes to his hair. Pulling every strand of hair he could reach, he smolders all the disappointment and sorrow with that easy hair-pulling tricks.

His father is nowhere to be seen, but he can hear his mother's voice in the living room. He walks past her, ignoring her presence to calm his headache. However, when he enters his room; he is beyond horrified. His pc is shattered to pieces and his guitar strings are all cut. He knows who did this, that perpetrator is in the living room.

She's calling someone, her laughter fills the living room interior in joy. It's her fake facade, one that is terrifying and horrifying. She's a great actress, she has lots of faces she can use to fool anyone across the cell phone she's holding. Min Soo's head is cloudy, filled with hatred and anxiety.

Tears rolls from his bronze orbs, the promises he had with his friends vanished in a glimpse. He couldn't play with them; holding his tears he could only sobs silently as he grabs the shattered PC on the floor. Sobbing and groaning in pain, his chest feels immense pain; like a bird in a cage.

"What is freedom?" the voice inside his head speaks the truth. "There is no such thing as freedom, your life has been fated to be this way by your bloodline; your parents".

Min Soo clenches his fist tightly, he stands up and gets up from the carpeted floor. He tries to contain his emotions; unintentionally pulling the strands of hair he had.

"I'm fine, this is fine" he whispers to himself. "I'm not feeling anything, nothing at all".

The young man exits his bedroom to find a broom to sweep his only means to communicate and blend in with his classmates.
