51 Diary 51: Relieving the Idol's Hell

Min Soo smiles at the thought of looking at the one who summoned him, but at the time he's puzzled as to why the Goddess broke his ribs and rendered him useless. Her gazes remain cold; not as friendly when he met her in his mind. Showing her feisty side for the first time, instead of her flirtatious side.

The Goddess steps on Min Soo crudely, to injure him. Confused and scared, the Idol whimpers at the Goddess's mercy; it was strange for her to be this evil except he did something wrong along the way. Min Soo braces himself to ask the Goddess that question. He crawls on the ground, gritting his teeth.

"What are you doing Aphrodite? Why did you hurt me and abduct me?" Min Soo growls. "What is it that I've done?".

She doesn't answer him, instead, she slaps Min Soo's cheek cruelly; there's no sign of humanity in her eyes but coldness. Straightening her back, she viciously tortures Min Soo with her heels, stepping his body like a sack of trash. Min Soo screams in agony, every time her heels lands on her ribs, the pain she sent is excruciatingly painful.

Blood smears the dusty floor in crimson, Min Soo chokes out of blood for the first time. It's his first time experiencing a near-death experience. Moreover, by a Goddess nonetheless; the woman who summoned him in this magical world in the first place. For some reason as well, the one who summoned him wants him dead under his heels.

She didn't say a word in regards to why he's abducted and tortured, all he know was that he's being abused by a Godly being now. Min Soo begs for an explanation but the Goddess doesn't bat an eye toward his pleads, she's giving him a cold shoulder. Min Soo groans in pain, trying to recover from his earlier exhaustion annoys him.

"I am not strong enough" the man whispers to himself weakly. "At this rate, I'm only a hindrance for David".

The Idol gets cold feet, he's cursing his powerlessness; he even wonders if his practice brings any fruits. He wonders if the paradise he's trying to build in this world will also crumble before his eyes due to his powerlessness.

"I won't forgive myself if I lose David because of my powerlessness" Min Soo clench his fist, gritting his teeth in frustration.

"Min Soo is abducted by a strange woman?" Crow widens his eyes in disbelief. "And you got beaten up by that woman?".

Crow doesn't believe every word David uttered, the greatest explorer of Sanctus Luminera was defeated by a mysterious woman with supreme strength. Moreover, the description the explorer gave to Crow doesn't ring a bell, it is as if she appears out of nowhere. The woman cannot be identified, no one knows about her, nor is she famous in any way.

"This is going to hinder our organization activity David" Crow sighs. "You know that we're behind schedule".

David clenches his fist, they have big plans to execute in the big city; however, it seems that the two of them have to delay their grand plans. Min Soo's safety is David's priority, even if it irks Crow to the point he grows unfriendly at David. Still, the woman's punch could flatten the tree behind Min Soo

"Min Soo's safety is my priority" David growls at Crow. "If you get in my way then-"/

"Right! I get it!" Crow sighs heavily. "We'll find your precious specimen together, whoever that woman; she's dangerous David".

David spreads a map on the inn bed, Crow still tending David's wounds while he's marking the traces of the Goddess tracks. Sensing her thick mana, he can guess that perhaps the enemy he is facing right now is a deity. Surely, he doesn't want his guess to become true; he can only hope his guess is misleading.

But his mana sense cannot fool him, the man knows that he's facing a higher being than a human. David only wonders what does that deity wants from Min Soo. The prince is afraid of the deity is once again disappoints him and took away his dearest; like the time when he lost his whole family to demons. He wouldn't lie; the man is disappointed with the Gods but respects Them.

"Let's get this done so that we won't stray away from the plan" Crow shapeshifts to a half dog. "Help me out here, partner?".

Finished patching up the wounded David, the two head toward the place where they lose Min Soo. Good thing that David learns a bit of a self-healing spell, arriving at the crime scene the two gentlemen can see the dried blood on the grass. The blood belongs to none other than Min Soo who got injured by the woman.

"Let me sniff them out" Crow lets his nose does the work.

They bring the greyhound with them, leaving the stray dog in the inn was never been a good idea since the innkeeper seems to dislike its presence. The dog is infatuated with Min Soo, he can help the two of them track Min Soo's smell. David kneels toward the dog, patting the dog's head he smiles at it.

"Please, lead me to Min Soo" David smiles at the dog. "Make sure he's alright, Gray".

The dog barks happily to David as if understanding that he begs for his help to search for his missing master. There's a bit of Min Soo's mana on the dog, due to him charming the dog to his side. It's the same case all over again; Min Soo is in danger whenever they go. It causes the prince great distress since he fully realizes that Min Soo's power is unparalleled.

Min Soo can dominate his peers to be his slaves if he could, he fully realizes how dangerous his power is. However, his heart aches for Min Soo's smiles and warmth; he doesn't know why he feels this way.

"I have to get him back, and properly tell him what I feel" David growls to himself.

"Wake up, you fool!" Min Soo widens his eyes, gasps in confusion when he feels a silky bed under his body.

He gets up from the plain white bed he sleeps on, covered with a disgusting green blanket he finally notices where he is right now. The same familiar hanger from his old house on the corner of his room. A wooden bookcase on the right side of his bed, neatly stacks with educational books; whilst on his left is his wardrobe.

He is awakened on hell, the home he abandoned to become a K-pop star. Before him is his angry mother, standing like a statue, yelling at him with a piece of paper on her hand. The woman shows him his grade, the number seventy-five printed on the test paper.

"What is this bullshit, Min Soo!? Seventy-five!?" she yells furiously.

Min Soo tilts his head, possibly confused why he's awakened in a hell, did he die? The last thing he remembered was the Goddess smothers his ribs, torturing him with her might. No matter how many times he pinches his cheeks, he can't wake up. He's stuck forever in his seventeen years old self, repeating the hell he wants to leave behind.
