42 Diary 42: Leaking Charm
David widens his eyes toward the corrupted scene that unfolds before him, the agonizing sight that makes him want to kill the fat merchant, his client. Min Soo's teary eyes catch the explorer's eye, he's stricken by fear, and his body is exposed to everyone's naked eyes.
The moment the explorer's eyes meet Min Soo's eyes, the disgusting merchant laughs merrily at Min Soo's weakness. Crow covers his face, looking the other way possibly embarrassed by the sight in front of him. Min Soo cries until his tears dried up, bare for everyone to see.
David clenches his fist, rushes into the cart, and pushes the merchant away from Min Soo.
Covering Min Soo's body with his adventurer garb, his sharp navy eyes gazes upon the disgusting merchant. The man huddles over the merchant, punching his cheeks like no end, David's eyes filled with furry. He punches the merchant until he loses his teeth, it is a relentless punch.
Crow rushes in to stop David from rampaging and killing the frightened merchant.
"Stop it! You're killing him!" Crow grabs David's arm from punching the merchant. "Get a grip! He's our client!".
David ignores Crow's pleas, he's engulfed in furry to even care what's going to happen to him. The explorer grits his teeth as he keeps landing his fist on the fatty merchant's cheeks, quite to be honest the sight of David punching the merchant satisfies him. Min Soo widens his eyes, perhaps amazed by David's acts.
He's not going to lie, Min Soo likes the way David is angry for his sake. However, seeing how he slowly deteriorated the merchant's life; it won't end well for their explorer team if he continues to punch him. Min Soo decides to step up his game, he doesn't want David to lose his reputation over this incident.
Min Soo grabs David's shoulder, trying to stop him from rampaging and hurting the merchant.
"David stop!" Min Soo shakes him. "That man is not worth your time".
David stops his punches when Min Soo whispers next to his ears, the man realizes he's breaching the contract now that he already punched their client. Hurting a client is a forbidden act, and surely David is certain that Min Soo wouldn't want his incident to be spread wide. Crow is a bit baffled by how David is obedient toward Min Soo's pleas.
Still, the merchant's action is a bit strange since the man was rumored to be a womanizer, he may play with women but never with men. David can only assume that Min Soo might be the reason for the sudden changes in the merchant's behavior. The merchant shivers in fear, knowing how filthy rich he is; the man probably will sue David for it.
Their guess is right, after David stops his action the merchant immediately shot a glare at David. Just when he's about to argue, Min Soo stops the merchant at his tracks with his sudden movement. His fingers trace toward the merchant's chin, lifting the merchant's chin seductively.
Min Soo hums a melody, a savage one that is; not even Crow and David could anticipate this.
"I'll dream of you forgetting that any of this ever happened, baby" Min Soo whispers to the merchant.
The merchant grins in pleasure when Min Soo whispers those sweet words, he fainted instantaneously after that. David and Crow's exchanges look of confusion, the two gentlemen are puzzled with what he did. Min Soo tells the two puzzled gentlemen behind him that he merely hypnotizes him to forget what happened.
The merchant will wake up with short amnesia, not remembering anything that occurred before. It is the best option for both parties, it is also the best countermeasure when something like this happens out of nowhere. However, after using his voice power, Min Soo feels weakened; drowsiness engulfs him in the darkness.
"Min Soo? Min Soo!" David's scream is the last thing Min Soo could hear before he passes out completely.

The idol is awake, once again floating on the sea whilst watching the Goddess grins at the Idol from above. Min Soo clicks his tongue, he demands an explanation from the Goddess in regards to what happened to him and whether it has something to do with his power. The Goddess merely giggles at the puzzled Idol.
"Why of course yes" the Goddess smiles teasingly. "It's your innate ability Min Soo, your charm power works even if you don't use it".
Min Soo's jaws gaped open, the merchant must have been affected by his power on accident. Thus it's his fault that the merchant fell into his desire and lust, the man almost raped him. Fortunately, David and Crow came in the nick of a time to save him. The Goddess explains that his charm power is not limited to active uses, but also passive.
Since the Idol only uses his charm power recently without being able to fully control his innate ability; his pheromones leak out thus attracting evildoers by accident. His pheromones leak out affected those who cannot truly control his desires. The merchant is one of the examples of those evildoers since he's a womanizer.
"Is there something I need to do to suppress my power?" Min Soo gulps.
He cannot fathom if anything happens to him again, like for example another rape attempt or kidnapping incident that involves him.
"Well yes, but first you need to control yourself" The Goddess speaks. "After all, the pheromones happens to leak because you're also in a heat yourself".
Min Soo tilts his head, not understanding what the Goddess is saying. Still floating on the sea, the Goddess pokes Min Soo's forehead with her slender finger, she whispers next to his ears.
"You know what I'm saying right? You like him, that explorer with the name David" She grins in satisfaction. "Not to mention that the two of you almost make love in the forest".
"Alright, stop right there" Min Soo blushes in fifty shades of crimson, knowing that the Goddess knows that incident. "Are you a stalker or what? How did you know?".
"I watched my warrior, of course, I know" she smiles pervertedly. "Especially if it's an intimate bonding time".
"YIKES! DISGUSTING!" Min Soo is creeped out for sure.
