33 Diary 33: The Siren's Charm
Crow sighs grimly as he looks up to the ceiling of his room, his eyes dart towards Min Soo whose begging on his knees on the floor. The devastated man Crow starts to explain things, shyly of course. David inquires more information from the shy man, forcing him to spill the tea. Crow growls antagonistically, half regretting the fact that he's letting the two of them in.
"Listen here, there's no way I want to share my experience with the likes of-".
"Just tell me! It's for the sake of me controlling my power!" Min Soo begs as he latches his forehead to the ground.
Seeing the man begs for Crow's explanation, David urges his shy companion to tell the story. Crow still dislikes the fact that he lost from Min Soo due to simple negligence, but since Min Soo seems to be in a dire situation, therefore he decides to do Min Soo's bidding. He decides to explain since Min Soo is desperate.
"Well, I have dirty dreams about you and I'm paralyzed to the ground" Crow grumbles. "It's pretty much making me unable to move properly".
Min Soo flushes, it must be a wet dream about him; David bits his thumb annoyed. Crow also explains that he feels dizzy and tipsy after listening to Min Soo's humming, it happened so fast that Crow couldn't anticipate that counterstrike in an instant. He's petrified on the ground, useless and scared to his wits.
David explains that Crow is not well-versed in romance and relationships; thus such sights would petrify him more than turning him on. So in other words, auditory and visual hallucination takes part in Min Soo's ability. The trigger and the key for the ability to work seem to have something to do with his singing ability.
It reminds him of his nickname on the stage, which is 'The Siren'. Min Soo thought to himself for a while, the man is legit a singer and for some reason, his innate ability happens to be something that he can do. He wants to try this ability, but he wants to use animals as test subjects instead of humans.
As if David knows what he's thinking, the explorer drags Min Soo outside Crow's house. Crow tags along behind them, he doesn't want to miss the show that Min Soo displays. David asks his companion whether he's healthy enough to tag along with them. \
"I'm fine! Just let me tag along!" Crow growls at the two of them. "I want to see Min Soo's power, I can't accept my defeat".

Going into the forest, there are several slimes in the bushes gathering in the center. Min Soo decides to prepare his voice, both David and Crow cover their ears from hearing Min Soo's voice. The Idol sings his pieces, and that's when suddenly everything turns pink; Crow is still somewhat affected by his voice.
"Oh my darling, why are you running?" Min Soo hums melodiously. "Comes closer, and let me see your beautiful face".
He sings while dancing, thinking of the terrain as a stage show; Min Soo dances elegantly under the trees while attracting the slimes to come closer. Their eyes are focusing on Min Soo's singing figure as he dances through the terrains of grass, his skills as an Idol showing off and it rubs off on the dazed gentlemen behind him.
The slimes and the animals gather around Min Soo as if spectating a God on a stage. The animals and creatures tilting their head following the rhythm. David is entranced by his voice, his attention toward him is undivided. Crow's eyes are full of pink aura, he's the same as the rest of the creatures at the front.
Crow inadvertently walks toward Min Soo, David is sane enough to stop him in his tracks. Min Soo grins toward the creatures who gather around him with a bright smile, like an Idol he is. David's eyes glimmer toward Min Soo's performance; he shines brightly like a star, blinding David's gaze.
The man smiles slightly at Min Soo's performance, enjoying his voice he silently murmurs the music while tapping his finger on the ground. The sight of him singing reminds him of an angel, Min Soo is indeed an angel sent from the other world. As the Idol continues his pieces, the next lyric surprises them all.
"Give me your soul, give me your heart" Min Soo hums.
The moment he spoke those words, all of the sudden the creatures turns wild as they slowly dying and self-destruct. Min Soo gasps as he backs away from the creatures before him, his jaws gapes. David comes into the scene, he tries to calm Min Soo down. The Idol is horrified by the sight of the creatures before him agonizing and screaming in pain.
The slimes self-destruct one by one, leaving no trace behind. The animals are hurting themselves, hitting their body and ramming their body toward the tree, bloods scattered all over the places. David tells Min Soo to sing once more but changes the lyrics to something else. Min Soo concentrates on thinking of the lyrics.
Some of the animals scratching their skin, biting themselves to death; it's a horrifying situation.
"Think of happy thoughts," Min Soo thought to himself.
The sights of the dreadful creatures agonizing pains his heart, Min Soo decides to sing a different lyric.
"Please, my darling return to your former self" Min Soo smiles as he sings his tunes.
Min Soo sings his piece and the creatures before him start to calm down. The creatures return to their former self when Min Soo sang that music. Their self-destructive behavior stops when Min Soo changes the lyrics to something more soothing and calming, the lyrics are everchanging; the man is good at changing his games.
The moment he changes the lyrics, the creatures stops hurting themselves. Their screams of agony stops replace by soft snoring since the Idol change the lyrics to 'slumber'.
"Sleep your pain away" Min Soo hums softly. "Take a deep breath, and let your drowsiness conquer your conscience".
David sighs in relief when they're asleep, on the contrary Crow is already out of commission. He's knocked out cold since David knocked him unconscious.
"Min Soo" David taps Min Soo's shoulder who is still stiff all over. "We need to study how to control your power, in my opinion, your innate ability is too dangerous".
