3 Diary 3: The Visionary Prophecy
"Min Soo!" a voice calls him from the depth of the darkness.
He's dazed, but he finds himself on foreign land where the cityscapes no longer exist. The young man is in a middle of a battlefield, laying on the soiled ground, a mysterious blonde-haired man defends him against an incoming attack. Wearing some sort of old-clothed fabric, the man peered his eyes at the terrified Min Soo on the ground.
He strongly pulls Min Soo up with the ounce of his strength as he parries the fireblast with a one-handed sword he holds in his right hand, while his left one is supporting Min Soo from falling. As he stands up, the young K-Pop Idol suddenly realizes that his attire is much different from his usual dancing attire or stage attire.
It's a magical peculiar attire clad in blue, he's holding a magical grimoire in his hand. His head is decorated with a blue beret with a feather decoration, also in blue. The attire of his clothes reminds him of the attire of a magician or a mage. As he gawked at his appearance, the handsome blond-haired man from before yells at him.
"Don't lose focus, Min Soo! This is the boss I told you about! There's no turning back!" he yells.
Not only the blonde-haired man, but there are also several people around Min Soo with strange attire. A total of fifteen people is in the dark tower, a horrifying looming beast howl on the center of a seeming tower. The people inside the room are clothed like adventurers he sees in his RPG game, old-fashioned garbs, and swords in hand.
Min Soo is too bewildered by the sudden change of environment with him, the only thing he can do is dodging the incoming fireblast from a beast on the center of a tower. The beast's eyes shine in purple, it's a wolf-alike beast with condemning gazes. The bloodlust from the beast is enough to make Min Soo lose his courage.
"Min Soo! Get a grip!" the brave blonde-haired man shakes Min Soo. "What's gotten into you!?".
The tower they're in rumbling, a wave of quake made Min Soo and the others lose their balances. The gray-furred wolf on the center is preparing itself for something since it stops his movement.
Its fireblast barrage is gone, replaced with an ominous growl from the beastly wolf. The purple eyes shine in the darkness as the floor is slowly engulfed with purple flames.
Min Soo gasped at the sudden hot temperature in the room, the other people around him are burning and scorched into ashes. The K-pop Idol bit his lips anxiously, he then subconsciously did something that is out of his characteristics. Min Soo writes runes on the air with the tip of his fingers, the runes then sparkle in blueish colors.
Not long after the sparkle, a rain of water shows up from above. The waters heal the burnt damage the adventurers suffered. Min Soo looks at the floating grimoires in front of him and his gloved hands, his bronze eyes widened at what he's just done.
"MIN SOO! WATCH OUT!" the blonde-haired man yells at the puzzled K-pop Idol who just discovers what he's capable to do.
The beast is rushing toward the idle mage, Min Soo of course unprepared by the sudden movement the beast made. As the beast claws about the advanced on his face, the puzzled K-pop Idol feels a tremendous headache out of nowhere.

"MIN SOO HYUNG!" a loud voice awakens Min Soo from his thrilling dream.
The pink-haired man awake in a hurry, his breathing cruises heavily as the imagery of a mysterious blonde-haired man haunt him. Bobby Wang, the youngest member of the Mystica's boyband stares Min Soo curiously. Min Soo wipes the cold sweats on his forehead, the young man then aimed his bronze orbs at Bobby amber ones.
"Hi, Bobby" Min Soo greets the youngest with an exhausted smile. "Why did you wake me up?".
Min Soo is still appalled by the magical and surreal dream he just had, the man had to check his surrounding a few times to make sure he's in the condominium. He remembers faintly after his psychological session with Seo Hyun, the man went to a quick shower and proceed to sleep in a matter of seconds in his bedroom.
Min Soo shares the same bedroom with Bobby Wang, his lovely maknae that always helps him in his songwriting progress. Bobby wakes him up since his manager calls him to wake Min Soo, it's about the LIVE talk show that Min Soo needs to attend. Min Soo rolls his eyes unpleasantly, remembering that he has to meet his parents later.
Bobby is the only one who knows Min Soo's strained relationship with his parents. Min Soon and his parents may look close on the surface, but Min Soo secretly hates his affiliation with them. Park Seo Jin and Lee Kwang Si are pretty friendly, but Min Soo doesn't seem he can open up to them yet.
"I'll tell the manager that you're awake, in the meantime please take a shower and get ready" Bobby patted Min Soo's shoulder.
"Got it, thanks Bobby" Min Soo nod weakly.

Min Soo arrives on the set, with his stylist onboard the car his face looks as good as new. He's wearing a blue leather jacket with brown jeans. He covers his face with his dark sunglasses, while he covers his hat with a fedora.
The reason why he puts on a hat in each of his shows lately is due to his trichotillomania, a scalp formed like coins formed on his head. Slowly balding due to his stress and his itchy hands, he requested his stylist to put on an extension hair and a fedora to cover it. Leather gloves, as usual, to keep his hand in check.
The talk show will start soon, Min Soo comes right on time to attend. Following the staff's direction, Min Soo appears on the stage. His bronze eyes peers toward the two adults that already seat themselves on the comfortable yellow sofa. The MC guides Min Soo to sit next to his parents.
The two adults, Kim Seung Hee his mother, and Kim Man Seok his father are waving their hands toward Min Soo.
"Oh, how I miss my baby, Min Soo!!" Seung Hee smiles as she hugs him.
Min Soo replies the hug hesitantly, knowing how his mother sees him only as a moneymaker. His father and Min Soo are not particularly close, since his mother is mostly the one who controls the whole family life.
The talk show progressed quite slowly, ranging from a general question such as the family bloodline and Min Soo's choices in his career.
"I'm proud to say that my mother and father are the reason why I'm able to pull this far" Min Soo smiles artificially toward the crowds and the camera in front of him.
He knows how fake his statement is, and yet he has to do it for his images. If he could vomit, he would vomit gladly on his mother's clothes. Staining her glory with his puke, the woman would scream hysterically if Min Soo accidentally dirty the clothes she made with a dirty puke. Then again, he has to hold in his dislikes once more.
"What do you think of your son's progress Kim Seung Hee?" the female mc questions the mother.
"My son is the greatest gift that God has ever given to me! He sings well! Dance well! Even he had a hidden talent in sewing!" Seung Hee replies confidently.
"I do agree that honey, Min Soo is a bright child" Man Seok nods in agreement.
Min Soo stares at his parents in disgust, they remember how they mock him for his talent in dancing and singing. They're now just a bunch of hypocrites flocking around Min Soo for his money and achievement. Such is the life of the K-pop Idol Kim Min Soo. Now he somewhat regrets the choice.
The MC throws some unnecessary questions that prick the young man's patience, he answers calmly according to the textbook knowledge he had since he first starts the career as an Idol. The crucial question the mc throws are mostly directed toward his parents' success, which gives the Idol a leeway quite a bit.
"Say, Min Soo-ssi do you have a dream that you want to fulfill?" the female mc asks the dazed Idol out of the blue.
The fangirls chatters are getting louder, the crowds want to hear his confession. The vision of his earlier dreams pops out in his mind, the sight of the handsome blonde-haired man crosses his mind.
It's a magical world, a game-like RPG environment that reminds him of his childhood. A sincere smile escapes his lips, if his dream could be a reality then that would be the first thing he wants to do.
Yes, to escape the world of reality and submerge into a magical realm would be a dream come true. No more people leeching his success or mock him ever again, remembering how he could defend himself in his dream.
"A dream huh?" he smiles faintly. "Perhaps, a dream of myself being in a magical land would ease my mind".
This brings the mc to probe more into the meaning of his words.
"What do you mean by that? Are you currently anxious about something Min Soo-ssi?" the female mc asks enthusiastically.
"Hahaha, who knows" Min Soo smiles dryly.
