5 The chaos

'I was too careless.' The captain couldn't help but shake his head. He should have checked Grim. At least He should have removed his weapon.

But what he was unable to understand was why Grim was doing this. It must be the result of his red eye. There were many weird plants been recorded to have a strange effect on people. But it didn't look like one of those things.

"Aaghhh." the captain couldn't help but screamed as blood-eyed Grim tried to twist the dagger. His armor stopped it from twisting. But even the little movement inside the body hurts like hell. The captain jumped backward. With this move, the dagger came out naturally. As the blood started to follow out, the pain kicked in.

To his surprise, Grim lunged towards him. It can be seen from Grim's movement that he wasn't in a good shape either. Some broken ribs, bulged up face started to show its effect. His movements became erratic.

The captain suddenly realized that he didn't have his shield. He had left it on the place where he was sitting. Just the tip of the dagger about to reach him, he stepped sideways and hit Grim's hand hard, followed by a punch at his face.

Grim staggered for a moment but attacked again. He was like a mindless zombie without a sense of pain. The loss of blood was making captain nauseous, above all without the shield, it's becoming harder for him to keep up with zombie Grim's speed.

"Captain!"

"What are those arrows?" The captain's leg gave away as soon as he relaxed, but he couldn't help but ask Kiria.

"Paralyzing poison. With the dose, he wouldn't be able to control his body. Even if someone is controlling his brain wouldn't be able to control him"

"How do you know?" Captain was surprised with an explanation.

"Just a hunch." Kiria casually said.

The Captain squinted his eye, but before he could say anything weakness conquered his body. Quickly Kiria took out a bottle of potion and poured it on the captain's mouth. As he inched closer he could see it was Cikaya who was fighting the red bear. He had to make sure that it was not a trap. The captain focused. Cikaya's eye was normal. He quickly came into the bear's range. The slight misstep caused another wound on the bear from Cikaya's sword. Somehow all the wound on the bear's body was shallow.

The captain understood what was happening and shouted: "Cikaya, don't hesitate, look at his eyes, it's not normal."

For a moment when he heard the captain, he was happy, but the whole line shocked him. "Captain he is.."

"I am perfectly aware who he is, just give him 2-3 deep wound, I will handle the rest."

"But" Cikaya was hesitant.

Captain was angry and shouted "I almost killed by Grim. Kiria was killed in a one smashed by him. Think about what you gonna do."

Looking at the sense Cikaya took a deep breath, he couldn't stop him from being sad. Kiria died just like that? Both Cikaya and Kiria trained at the same school. They are been together long before the black tiger was established. And he died just like that.

He couldn't help but shudder. What type of people can be behind that girl? Even before they revealed themselves they had taken care of 3 people on their team.

All of a sudden the captain jumped toward him. His heart thumped. Could they have taken control of the captain? But even before he could draw his sword the captain slammed into him.

The attack he was expecting didn't appear. Rather he heard a ding sound.

"Be focus until we find all of them. There is an emergency if you want to cry then cry after we kill the bastard that controlling them." the captain shouted. He was standing in front of him, with the shield he was protecting both Ciyaka and himself.

The captain suddenly put his other hand behind his back and signaled. Cikaya left with a nod.

Excluding the archer who was shooting at them, there were still 2 teammates of whose position was still unknown. Between them, the new guy was the one the captain is worried most.

If he became a zombie, it will be a big problem. As an elemental, he was the one with most firepower. It will be hard for just two of them to fight against him. On the other hand, it will be easier to subdue other and fight against the unknown enemy if he is on their side. Either way, he had to find him first.

Elementals are not a true human. They neither have the innate ability nor could they use a skill. So even if he turned zombie, it wouldn't be hard for Cikaya to run away. But they could make up their disability with their synergy. Different elementals have different use of synergy. Some could create water, fire, wind all the things that this world possess, out of nothing, some could control them.

The purer the synergy, the greater the power of elemental. Those who could do all of them could become Elemental king.

With the sound, the captain could fill that a wind started blowing from the direction the archer was hiding. With that fiery explosion, the remaining fog slowly moved away. In a moment Cikaya appeared behind the captain. Both of them could understand what caused the explosion. But they were wary about the situation.

As the attack was aimed at the zombie archer it can be assumed that the new guy was not controlled. But they couldn't be too safe.

With a nod, Cikaya left, and the captain went towards the explosion.

"Captain are you ok?" the new guy asked. Though the captain went towards the new guy in a casual manner, he was always on guard. The new guy continued, "Can you look into my eyes captain?".

The captain could understand from where the question was coming. The captain looked at his eyes without hesitation, his heart thumped. It's little unnatural for his body to go out of his control. So he ignored and tried to look towards the new guy again.

But even before he could do that he felt an excruciating pain in the heart. There was no wound at his chest though but the pain was too unbearable. The shield fell down from his hand, as he clutched his heart with both of his hand. He sprawled on the ground. He began to foam out from his mouth.

Cikaya put his sword on the neck of the new guy and shouted "What the hell had you done to him? Reverse it now or I will kill you on the spot." There was not a single bit of hesitation in voice.

He fought with his friend, almost killed him, and lost one of his brothers. Though it put a lot of burden on him.

"Believe me Cikaya, I really didn't do anything," The new guy said truthfully.

"Believe me I won't hesitate for a moment before killing if you don't save the captain" Cikaya was resolute.

"Really I didn't do anything. You have to believe me Cikaya. Look into my eyes, Cikaya. You will see whether or not I am telling the truth. Come on look at me"

Cikaya looked at him and the sword fell down from his hand. If someone could gaze into Cikaya's eyes they would have seen beautiful ruby.

"What did you say? Were you going to kill me?" as the new guy said that he punched Cikaya in the belly. The voice of the new guy was totally different from his previous voice. Now his voice is also full of disdain.

"You are going to kill me because of that piece of the armadillo?" He punched again. But Cikaya wasn't moving at all. He was neither protecting himself nor dodging it. "Now take the sword and kill him" with the word the new guy turned back and went towards the forest where the fog was thick.

As he was advancing more and more the fog was getting denser.

He was irritated. "How the hell that girl came here? She was with other before the fog hit. And from where the hell this fog is coming?"

He walked for little longer and then he suddenly took one more step and the fog vanished, it was as clear as day.

He looked back, the fog was still there. But the fog created around a 10-meter circle. In the middle of which Mayumi was sitting.

"Wasn't she vomiting when the fog hit? How did she is sitting crossed legged now?" He was talking to himself. "Is the fog protecting her or they are afraid of her?

He walked towards her, he continued to mumble.

Just he was going to touch her, a rather angry voice sound from the behind.

" Don't you even dare to touch my darling, or I will just roast you"

With the shout even before the new guy turned back he could feel the heat wave in the air.

As he turned back he was surprised. It's Kisa.

The only difference was that she was burning now.
