4 III[The Prelude]

A few days have passed since the last time they played in th forest.
Right now Milir and Milim were playing near a pond, filled with fishes.
""Hahahahaha!!""
"Guruuuu"
MUNCH!!
They were currently watching their pet dragon, Velgaia, catch and eat the fishes in the water.
"Hey sister"
"Yeah?"
Milir called out his sister beside him, and decided to ask her a question.
"Do you have strang dreams when you sleep?"
"Huh? No, why?"
As a high-level species, Milir and Milim didn't actually need sleep, but what would they do during the night? Nothing. Thus, they decided that sleep was the only way to pass the night.
Milir was having strange dreams every now and then. Dreams about a blue ball and his sister playing together, although they were a bit fuzzy, Milir couldn't have mistaken the familiar pink haired girl he saw in his dreams.
(That was definetely sister)
As those thoughts passed through Milir's head, Milim was still awaiting his answer.
"Aah..that's because I sometimes dream on you playing with a small blue ball?"
Milir wasn't sure yet about what that blue ball was, and so he couldn't quite tell his sister what it was that she was actually playing with.
"Eh? A blue ball?"
Milim's was curious, -- a blue ball? -- she wasn't someone whose boredom could easily be quenched.
"Yes, a blue ball? Do you have any idea what it is?"
Milim playfully kicked the water surrounding her feet, as she heard Milir's question.
"I don't know...."
Milim was putting on a thoughful expression, as she tried to guess what king of creature she was playing with in Milir's dreams.
"Ah! Let's just put that aside for later!"
Milim clapped his hands to get his sister's attention. He knew that if he didn't know it, then his sister probably doesn't know it too. Since they have been living with just the 3 of them, including Velgaia, afterall.
Plus, the forest they were living in doesn't seem to have any kind of blue ball-like creature anywhere.
SPLASH!
"Eh?"
Despite Milir trying to get her attention, it was a splash of water sent by Velgaia that truly snapped Milim out of her thoughts.
"Oh~ Velgaia! That's bad!"
"Guruuu!!"
"Huh? Sister!?"
Milim jumped into the pond, creating a big splash of water that hit Milir's entire body, causing his white clothes to become soaked in liquid.
"Hmph!"
"Eh? Milir!?"
"Guruuu!!"
Milim also decided to jump into the pond, he used his abnormal strength to create waves of water that splashed on his sister's back, much to her suprise.
"Ha! So that's how you want to play it then"
"Guruuuu!!"
As retaliation, Milim dug both her arms in the pond and swiped them uo fiercely, causing Velgaia to be carried away by the waves of water she created.
"Weak!"
Milir responded by smacking the water, which in turn, made the water spike up like a geyser.
"Guruuuu!!"
Meanwhile, Velgaia was caught in the crossfire, as it watched the water in the pond decreasing little by little.
""Hahahahaha!!""
The 2 siblings started to enjoy their swimming day.

In a famous bar located inside the Prussia Kingdom.
"The King wants us to capture a dragon?"
"It's easy ain't it? Just a small dragon ain't gonna to nothin to us!"
"Hahahaha! Such a simple task! Yet our reward's going to be enormous!"
Knights clad in silver armor began talking about how high their reward was going to be, just to catch a small dragon.
"Yeah, It has already been confirmed by the Captain himself!"
"Imagine what I'm gonna do with that money....."
As one of the knights began drooling from his unholy imaginations, a tall bald man came through the bar's entrance.
DING!
The tall bald knight, looked at his group with a proud smile on his face.
"You ready boys!!"
""""Sir! Yes Sir!""""
The group of drinking knights, responded loudly towards their Captain's question.
"All weapons set?"
"Yes Sir!"
"The net included?"
"Yes Sir, the net is already with the muscle head over there"
The Knight who was questioned by his Captain, pointed towards a middle aged man with the physique of a body builder.
"Who ya callin muscle head ya little shit!"
The drunk knight slammed his beer on the table as he rebuked his fellow soldier.
"That's enough!"
Their Captain silenced them, as he sat on one of the empty chairs surrounding the wide rectangular table, and ordered a beer.
"Just hope nothing goes wrong"
The Captain mumbled as he drank the beer served to him in one go.
"Aah~! Refreshing as always!"
"You said it Captain!"
"Hahahaha!!"
The Captain and his group of knights, drank cheerfully. They were completely unaware of the consequences their actions would bring.
"Now that you mention it Sir. How about those strange children you mentioned?"
One of the knights, who was still not drunk, asked his leader.
"Those kids? What do you think the net is for? The dragon?"
"Huh? I thought it was"
The Captain stared at the knight for a few seconds before raising his hand to order another beer, as he said.
"Of course not! They ordered us to capture and if not, then kill the dragon and take it's corpse"
"As for the strange children?"
"We capture them of course!"
Their Captain stated without any remorse in his voice.
The group of knights had questioning looks for a second, before one of them asked.
"Huh? Why's that Captain?"
"Don't you get it boy? Those kid's are probably Demis, and you know what the law says do you not?"
The knight in question thought for a moment before opening his mouth in realization.
"Ah! Of course!"
"That's right! There shall be no Non-humans that taint this perfect land of ours!"
The Captained stated loudly, and his group of knights responded.
"True"
"Can't help it"
"Hehehe! How unfortunate"
"There's always a slave trader available though"
Some knights answered with a laugh, while others answered with a shrug. To these group of knights, humans were supreme. Thus, their racism against Non-human being were not only because of the Kingdom's law, but also because of their belief that Humans should be the sole rulers of the world.
However, as the saying goes. "The Future is always Unpredictable"
