23 Know Everything Directly From Her

Arya woke up and saw Ryu, who was staring at her, leaning on his elbow for support and a palm under his chin.

"Morning, sleepyhead," Ryu said, grinning.

Arya also smiled and stretched her arms. "What time is it?"

Ryu smiled lovingly and answered, "Sleep more if you still feel like it. The flight is at night anyway."

"How about you, when is your flight back?" Arya almost forgot to ask him because she was aware that Ryu extended his stay for her. Yesterday, as per Rita's instruction, Kay told her to ask about his flight back.

Ryu pouted his lips as he spoke, "I've been thinking if you will eventually ask about it or not. It seems like you don't even care about my schedule at all. Thank goodness you have finally asked."

"What's with the pouting? Are you usually this sensitive?" Arya asked laughing as she rose from the bed.

"My flight might be tomorrow, not sure though. Anyway, I will just call you. My driver will drop you off at the airport. I have an urgent meeting tonight." Ryu said and also stood up from the bed.

"Where do you want to go now? I still have eight hours at most to accompany you, Mr. Ryu Ken." Arya said as she looked at the clock.

Ryu walked closer to kiss her, but Arya covered her mouth and quickly ran to the washroom as she spoke, "Wait, I haven't brushed my teeth yet. You might end up dying this time, instead of just a bruise on the face."

She quickly ran away from Ryu as she knew that he will not miss the chance to kiss her deeply so early in the morning.

She heard Ryu's loud laugh. 'How nice it is to hear his voice and laughter.' She thought while a smile on her own.

Ryu just wanted to stay at the hotel while they waited for Arya's flight, so the latter could just relax.

They were watching a movie when Ryu suddenly asked, "Do you still live with your family?"

"Nope, why are you asking? Do you also want to live with me ?" She jokingly said. That was actually part of the plan. Rita got her a new apartment to live on her own, so her family won't be a hindrance.

Ryu laughed, "I would love that. So, you should expect me to knock on your door anytime soon."

Arya's eyebrow arched. 'Is he serious?' She thought inwardly.

Ryu laughed. He sensed that Arya was deep in thoughts so he spoke up, "Relax, I asked because I want to meet your family too."

Then, he continued, "Are your parents still together or alive? How many siblings do you have? What do they like, because I want to bring something when I visit and I want to make sure it is something they will like."

He could have easily get Arya's profile in a snap but he chose not to. He wanted to know everything directly from her.

Arya's face lit up. Was that a good opportunity to tell Ryu everything? But she didn't know how to start. She began by answering his questions first.

"Yes, my parents are still together and both alive. I just have one little sister and she is an adorable one." She said smiling.

"How old is your sister? Oh right, you have mentioned before that your dad's number is unknown." Ryu added.

"She is five. About my dad, he is..." Ryu's phone suddenly rang and it seemed an important call because he excused himself and answered it immediately.

"What did you say? That's bullshit. Bring him down no matter what, make sure all his assets go down with him!" Ryu hissed before he hung up the phone.

Arya's eyebrow creased because Ryu's face was deep red. He looked so pissed off then, he received another call.

"He doesn't have a choice? Then, show him the consequences of choosing to mess with me." Ryu spoke with a firm and heavy tone.

Arya was listening intently. Unconsciously, her face became pale, as she listened more to Ryu's conversations on the phone.

What if Ryu reacted the same way once she told him everything?

All her courage to confess suddenly vanished into thin air. She felt scared, not for herself but for her dad, who was still on trial right now. Her thoughts were interrupted by Ryu's voice.

"I am sorry about that. Where were we? Oh yeah, about your dad. What were you saying?" Ryu said with an expressionless face.

Arya bit her lower lip and spoke, "My dad was into natural gas and power plant business. I'm not quite familiar with it. By the way, I think it's not wise to bring anyone home this time since I have just graduated this year. My dad is kind of strict and conservative type of person, so let's give it some more time, then I will bring you home. Besides, let me tell them about you first."

Then, she added, "For the record, my relationship with Jim was also a secret, so I haven't brought anyone to meet them yet."

Then, Arya bit by bit changed the topic and got up to pull Ryu to the spa.
