The police officers who came to interview them were an interesting pair. They both wore the same uniform, but that was where the similarities ended. One was very tall, and rail thin. While the other was shorter, his body also having a softer look, the effect of one too many snacks while sat at the desk. The short one did not say much, simply staring at them, unblinking. Like they were the suspects instead of the victims. His partner was the exact opposite, smiling at them as he asked question in a friendly yet professional manner. It was an obvious strategy.

Good cop, bad cop, but Nate had to admit it was effective. They had not even commented on Nate and Rose sharing a hospital bed, simply taking it all in stride, focusing only on the questions they had.

"Is there anything else you remember Mrs Kiriakis," The tall one asked. To be honest, Nate was mentally calling them tall one and short one because he had forgotten their names almost as soon as they had introduced themselves.
