35 Flipping the Country's Economy
"Wait!" he was about to catch up with the woman when suddenly a couple of guests walked blocking the way and before he knew it the woman had already disappeared.
From the tone that the woman used he knew that she must have some connection with them or perhaps an interaction from that eight years. There was a bit of conflict building up inside him, there are more and more people he encounters that knows more about Xi Ana than him.
No matter how hard he tries to investigate, exhausting each possible means to acquire information there is still nothing as if it was intentionally kept hidden from the rest of the world.
He turned his gaze on his woman and coincidentally, she was also looking at him. His heart suddenly leaped at that. He smiled lovingly at her before finally walking over. He sat beside her, Xi Ana then leaned and whispered something to him. "Who was that woman you were talking to?"
Xi Ana saw that someone went over to him but didn't recognize her and only saw her retreating silhouette. "Why? Are you jealous, my dear?" though he knew it was impossible for her to be jealous, he can't help but indulge himself with the idea and that made him feel giddy inside.
"Dear, what's there to be jealous about? I'm your wife, I dare you to cheat on me and I'll flip the country's economy with a flick of my finger." she said in a playful manner, it was merely a joke but it's not impossible after all she is Xi Ana and no one who crossed her lines remained unscathed.
Xi Ana knew that even though they aren't a couple who were married because of love, Lim Yi Sheng would never cheat on her. The time they were together proved that he is a responsible man and he never goes back on his words, that alone is enough for her.
Lim Yi Sheng chuckled on her response, "My dear, I will never cheat on you. Why would I cheat when I have the woman who's every man in City A dreams of becoming their wife. Leaving a diamond over a mere pebble is probably the most foolish thing a man could ever do."
Li Jingli and Fang Wenna heard their conversation and can't help but feel irritated, how could they display their affection in front of us, single dogs!
Faang Wenna on the other hand saw that there are indeed changes that happened to Xi Ana, it might be because of this man who knows, they've never met for three years and a lot could happen in that span of time.
"Yi Sheng, have you seen Ana get mad?" Fang Wenna inquired, when Li Jingli heard this a memory suddenly flashed inside his mind and he shivered instantly.
The man in question pondered for a while before answering. He'd seen her irritated or annoyed but never angry. "I don't think I have."
"Ugh.." Fang Wenna laughed at the sudden reaction from Li Jingli. It's normal for him to feel that way, he is in fact one of the people who personally received her wrath. The memory of what happened to him in that foreign country is something he will never ever forget in this lifetime.
Lim Yi Sheng asked Xi Ana about what happened but she just shrugged it off with a simple sentence as if she did nothing wrong, "I sent him on a journey." he knows that there is something more about that 'journey' she's speaking about.
"Ha! What journey? You banished me and left me in Country Z without anything!" he retorted. If you want to back to olden time with no technology and the likes this country is definitely the right choice.
It's not like no one has tried to cultivate the country, after all it is only a small island but they still acquired sovereignty but the citizens themselves refuses and they are contented with their current lives.
"I left you some dollars, Jingli and I arranged your lodging. In fact I've shown you enough leniency because of our relationship." she said as a matter of fact as she sipped her wine. If it was other people, she wouldn't have taken the effort to give him lodging or to even take him back, she would have banished them with nothing left at all.
"Indeed! But that was to buy the fruit you're craving for! You even warned me that you will prolong my banishment if I didn't buy those!" thinking back on those days he felt that he really was treated unfairly by Xi Ana!
"That's why I told you not to push your luck too much." she smiled at him while Lim Yi Sheng can't help but be more amused by his wife. He certainly learn more sides to her each day.

Xi Ana tried to slip out of her gown but failed to reach for the gown's zipper at the back so she called for her husband for some help who is currently busy inside his study room because of something urgent.
"Yi Sheng, can you help me with my gown?" Lim Yi Sheng turned and saw his wife who seem to be a little irritated already. He placed the documents on top of his table and turned his swivel chair towards his wife.
"My dear, do you even realize how tempting that would be?" he grinned at her. Instead of immediately answering, she walked towards him and slowly leaned down until their faces were only an inch apart.
Lim Yi Sheng could feel her hot breathe and the smell of the red wine she previously drank engulfed his nostrils. As if the lingering smell could make him drunk.
Her jet-black hair cascaded, he used his hand and tucked a lock of hair behind her ears. Those deep obsidian eyes seem to drown him, the more he looked the more drown he becomes. He caressed his rosy cheeks, slowly until his fingers reached her pink lips. He brushed it lightly before cupping her left cheek.
"You're really good at tempting me, aren't you my dear wife?" he can feel the sudden heat travel across his body when his palm touched Xi Ana's cheek. Only this woman could draw out such reaction from him!
Xi Ana passed his face and brought her lips near his ear and whispered in a hoarse voice, "Please help me out, my dear. I'm feeling really uncomfortable with this gown. Hmm?"
Even though Xi Ana didn't intend for it to sound so sexy, the man heard otherwise.
"XI ANA!" this is torture! Pure torture!
Lim Yi Sheng's ears reddened and his wife laughed heartily at his reaction, this wife of him really loves teasing him!
"Just help me with the zipper, alright?" the smile she had never left her lips. Teasing him has become a hobby of her.
Lim Yi Sheng can't do anything but help her. "Fine, turn around." the woman obediently did as she was told.
With one fluid move, the zipper went down. Just as Xi Ana was about to thank him, she was pulled down and now she's sitting on his lap. The man hugged her from behind. Lim Yi Sheng trailed kisses on the exposed area of her back which sent shivers down her spine.
He looked up to her, his face is shouting restrain. "My dear, I'm too tempted right now if you continue with this tempting I might lose it you know. I want to honor my promise to you, okay?"
He would only give in to his desires once they are on the same page, and he will honor that no matter how long he waits.
His hoarse voice is full of restraint, just what kind of struggling does this man feel for him to look like this? Is really unbearable?
