CHAPTER ONE

"Jennie, come here this place needs cleaning." A fat man in his early sixties said. " Yes sir, I am coming." A lady said. "when you're done, you can take your leave." Dominic said. He was the owner of the bar Jennie was working at. He was always up to make her life miserable 😔 ever since e she declined his offer of sleeping with him. Sometimes Jennie wonders why he never fired her. "Gosh I wonder if this man even has a heart .!" commented Linda. Jennie sighed and continued doing what she was doing, "Jennie you can leave, it not a problem I will do your work for you I can see that you are already exhausted", Linda said worried for her friend.

" No it is not like that it just that I have been thinking about working in another place."

" what!!😲. No you can't leave just take a day off or rest for a while you will see it hasn't reach that extent." Linda said.

" mm ..... Linda would you mind helping me just today I want to go rest."

" No, I wouldn't mind, just hope you sweep the idea of resigning. " Linda said.

" yes I may not, thanks any way. "Jennie replied as she packed her thing ready to go to home. she reached her home no time and it was already noon. As she entered her apartment she caught sight of her BFF, Rosé. She was on the couch fast asleep 😴.Jennie smiled subconsciously at how her BFF cared for. She remembered how they meet it was an encounter she would never forget.

"Hey you what you doing you want to steal come here." A man said chasing the little girl, Jennie. Jennie was frightened and ran away. She wasn't stealing she was hungry and was trying to find what you eat. She ran till she reached a corner. She sat down and cover her cold feet with her gown before long she fell fast asleep 💤.

A girl was passing by and saw her. Tapping her to find out her problem little Rosé found out that Jennie had cold hands. Jennie woke up and found Rosé staring at her. She wanted to run but Rosé said.

"Don't run if you continue to stay here you will catch a cold follow me my guardian will be happy to see I made a friend."

Jennie still wanted to run when her tummy made a rumbling sound. she held her tummy.

Rosé laughed and said "if you follow me you wouldn't be hungry because I have cookies and tea and I am willing to share 😊."

With that she followed her.

As Jennie remembered that tears swelled up in her eyes. Rosé who oke up few minutes saw this and wiped away her tears. Startled Jennie turned and found out that Rosé was awake. "Why are you crying 😢, did Dominic try anything with you again." Rosé said as she sat up to look at her BFF. Jennie smiled because her BFF childish character.

Rosé frowned "What is actually wrong with you one minute you are crying and the next minute you are smiling. "

" Nothing is wrong, have you eaten or you would like me to make your favorite 😉."Jennie said trying to change the topic. Rosé immediately smiled and nodded at approval to what Jennie said. With that the two best friends were off to kitchen. When they were done with cooking and eating 😋 Rosé went to bed while Jennie went to take a shower within few minutes she joined her BFF and she slept with a smile on her face.
