1 ABANDONED:

Henrietta was the first born in a family of five children.They had just moved into a smaller rental house trying to make ends meet.Henrietta's father Mr Edward decided to abandon the family after Mrs Martha , Henrietta's mum confronted the husband after she discovered he had secretly married a second wife.

The sudden responsibilities Martha had to shoulder, overwhelmed her.She soon found a job as a secretary but two months down the line the company failed to pay her simply because they had given her money which the lady used to start a new life from scratch with her children.

Henrietta was in high school, luckily due to her hard work the school decided to give the mum humble time to pay the school fees.The school had many sponsors but for one to qualify to be sponsored they had to be total orphans.Mr Edward was a very influencial man in the government, this hindered Martha from taking law action ,for the father to take family responsibilities.

Henrietta decided to help the mum during the weekends and evenings to earn extra cash by doing house hold chores in the neighborhood.One Saturday after the family of six finished taking black tea with no sugar for breakfast Martha was called to report to Nyali Villa in twenty minutes time to go and stand in for a maid who was involved in a vital car accident that very morning.Martha was in a dilemma because she was also supposed to go to office and could be free in the afternoon.Henrietta sensing her mum's dilemma she decided to help.Henrietta:"Mum I can go you don't have to stress your self."Martha:"Working for this rich people can be very tricky,it needs so much tolerance and you must have shock absorbing will power and I never prepared you for this kind of work."Henrietta: Please have some faith in your daughter on our current devastating state there's nothing I can't do to make our ends meet,so long as it's legal."Martha:"Okay hurry up you still have fifteen minutes remaining."

At eight in the morning , Henrietta was in Nyali Villa estate, after under going several security checks she was finally in front of a magnificent mansion.She knocked on the door but after waiting for around three minutes there was, no response,she was almost going back , when she noticed a switch on the wall,she pressed it and less than a second the door was open.Henrietta was not aware that all the time she was standing at the door some one was secretly watching her.An elegant lady with aura welcomed her into the house."I am Mrs Smith and I guess you are Martha."I am sorry Mrs Smith I am not Martha but Martha's eldest daughter Henrietta.I'm here on her behalf."Mrs Smith:"You look quite young and you should be in highschool."Henrietta:You are right we are on a holiday."Mrs Smith:"Okey , listen to me attentively, today you will do damp dusting in all the rooms starting from upstairs,once you are done let me know.All the cleaning equipments are in the backyard."Henrietta went to the backyard picked all she wanted for cleaning and went upstairs,she new Mrs Smith was staying a lone since her husband passed away and the son who was rumoured to be a very successful business man, with multiple businesses was rarely at home.

Henrietta made her way to one of the rooms, as she opened the door, she was shocked to see a nude male in the room, automatically her brain stopped working,she literally ran out of the room as faster as her legs could carry her, before she even processed her next course of action she found herself down stairs before Mrs Smith.Mrs Smith:"Why are you running, what is after you?"Henrietta:"Rat...rat a big one."Mrs Smith:"That is impossible,have lived in this house for several decades and I have never seen nor heard a rat."Henrietta: "Maybe I was hallucinating I am very sorry Mrs Smith this will never happen again."Mrs Smith:" You better remember that."Henrietta:Mrs Smith, I forgot to ask for the keys to the rooms."Mrs Smith:"All the rooms are open, but when cleaning, the room that is at the farthest end knock before going inside.My son is still sleeping."What Mrs Smith didn't know, that information left Henrietta more devastated.
