51 Lina develops respect for Wang

Outside Avanti Clothing Factory..

Lina and Robin sat in the car as they waited for Wang to return from Avanti Clothing Factory. He often used to visit this factory to meet the owner, Mr. Zhang Wei.

After a few minutes of silence, Lina decided to try and get more information about CEO Wang. "So, Mr. Wang's past is related to this factory? Hmm.. I had a talk with him this morning. I told him that he had no time slot to visit the clothing factory, but Wang was ready to make any changes to his schedule so as to arrange for a visit. What's so special about this factory?" requested Lina.

Robin smiled at Lina. "I've heard that Mr. Wang worked in this factory many years back," revealed Robin.

"Really? You mean.. Wang was Zhang Wei's employee? But, how did this all happen?" Lina was surprised. Her curiosity grew stronger.

"I don't know much about it. I, once, heard from a company's employee.. that Mr. Wang's parents died when Wang was very young. As soon as he passed out from his school, Wang started working in this clothing factory. I've heard that he was homeless.. and had no place to sleep. The owner Zhang Wei gave Wang the permission to live in the factory's workshop. Wang used to sleep in the store room of this factory," shared Robin.

"No! This can't be true," doubted Lina.

"I've seen that store room once. It's a very small and congested room. Mr. Wang often visits that room and spends a little time there," continued Robin.

"You mean.. Mr. Wang, one of the most powerful and the richest man of this planet.. was once poor like me?" wondered Lina.

"He has been through a very tough time," shared Robin as he smiled at the innocence of the crimson haired girl.

"But, I thought he was born with a silver spoon. I've met his uncle and aunty.. and they seem to be very rich. I'm sure Wang's parents must be very rich too," doubted Lina.

"You are right.. Wang was born with a silver spoon. I've heard that after his parents death, Wang's relation with his grandfather, Mr. Zong, got spoilt.. due to reasons unknown to all. All the assets are under Mr. Zong's ownership and control. Although, Wang is the legal heir to everything that Mr. Zong owns, Wang refused to accept his wealth and any of his assets. He even left his house. He is not in talking terms with his grandfather," explained Robin.

"And what about this company.. Wang Fashion House," Lina asked.

"Mr. Wang is a self made man. He is the founder of this company. He started this company from scratch and in a world record time.. turned it into one of the biggest companies of the world," Robin shared, as his expression showed his pride for being the driver of such a legendary man.

"Wow! I've developed a massive respect for Mr. Wang. Thank you for sharing this with me," Lina smiled and thanked Robin. "And now, I can understand.. why is Wang such a lonely person!" Lina sighed.

There was a two minutes silence in the car. Lina was lost in her own thoughts.

"What are you thinking?" Asked Robin.

"I'm thinking of Wang.. rising to such great heights.. without a family.. and without anyone's support is almost impossible. No wonder.. people call him a legend," smiled Lina. "I do have monetary problems, but at the least, I have a family to support me. My family members love me a lot.. and I love them too. Our family story is not that perfect, but.. love and support has always been present. I think I'm blessed to have them in my life," Lina smiled.

Robin was impressed by Lina's words. "Lina, you have a good heart. And you know things, that people of your age fail to understand. You are right... Love and family's support are two of the most important blessings from God. You won't find many people like yourself.. nowadays. Everyone is after money, fame and power. Greed has taken over every human's mind. Just as you are thankful for having your family in your life, Wang is thankful for having Mr. Zhang Wei in his life. That old man supported Wang in his toughest days," praised Robin. "You and Wang have a similar way of thinking. You both know what matters the most.. in life.." smiled Robin.

Lina smiled back. "Thank you so much. Your words made my day," thanked Lina.

Both of them sat in the car, as they waited for Wang to return from his meeting with Zhang Wei, the owner of Avanti clothing factory.
