57 57 Boasting Their Affections

Looking at her? October looked around to see that the surrounding young ladies and even the madams were eyeing covetously at her husband. Her eyes squinted dangerously. Are they blind? Can't they see that she was there together with the man they are looking at?

October's hand that was engulfed by Lexus' huge hand turned cold. She then gripped his hand tight as if afraid that he will let go of her. She didn't notice before but her husband can really attract a lot of flies.

Lexus looked at her when her eyes scanned the crowd then emerged a flash of anger in her eyes making it look funny and cute at the same time. He then tightened his hold of her as soon as he felt her hand turned cold and gripped on him to reassure his wife.

Lowering his head to be on the same eye level as her, Lexus teasingly asked with his eyes glowing, "Jealous?"

October snapped her head to Lexus, almost bumping into him. She glared at him and scoffed. "No." With that, October now was the one that was dragging him into the mall, wanting to get away from this circle of hungry women. Was she really being jealous?

A mischievous glint flashed across Lexus' eyes as his smile turned deeper. How can he let this opportunity of showing his ownership in her slip just like this? He will show this men who is her man.

Lexus didn't budge when October tried to drag him making her more furious. Then all of a sudden, she was yanked back and she instantly fell into his hard chest. She felt her hair being combed by his fingers so gentle that it makes tingles in her and her head almost turned numb. She looked up, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing really." Lexus smirked. "Just thought how beautiful my wife is."

"L-Lexus, stop this. They're staring at us." October inserted all of her strength to push him away but, again, it was rendered useless against him.

Lexus' smile gradually vanished and a dark air exuded out of him. Lexus? Hmph. Did she forgot who he was? Is she not recognizing him as her husband?

His hands snaked around her slim waist and tightening it by the minute as he asked in his cold and throaty voice. "I don't remember being called as such by you."

October looked at his eyes and she can see a hint of frustration and anger in it. What is he trying to say at a time like this? All she wanted to do was to get away from their stares.

"Wifey, what did you 'call' me?" Lexus drawled his tongue in a whisper close to her face as the tip of their noses were already touching. He then raised his elegant brows and waited in anticipation of her reply.

"Why?" October frowned. "Let's go already."

October tried to drag him away again but the man was immovable as a mountain.

"Say it, then maybe I'll let you drag me." He said stubbornly. Uneasiness flashed across October's forest-like eyes and her brows furrowed. Gradually, in the presence of Lexus, hr saw her face turning pink.

"...hu..hubby." October's voice was so small that Lexus can even barely hear her and asked her to say it louder. She gritted her teeth as she glared at him but it was just that.

"Hubby..."

The people around looked at them with various thoughts running through their minds. And then, in the midst of their wild guesses, one couldn't help but ask loudly at no one in particular. "Are they filming something?"

The people looked around but saw nothing, not even 1 cameraman. They wouldn't be surprised to have this couple be an actor and actress because of how stunningly gorgeous the two were but there was none.

What does this mean? The two were like people that have walked out of a painting. They look so picturesque one couldn't help but gape at them and watch their warm and intimate interactions.

However, not all were watching in relish. At least, for those single people who were gritting their teeth in anger and envy. The sight before them was burning their eyes and was piercing their hearts with tiny needles.

Despite this, they remained there standing and watched them with bitterness.

"I can't hear you." Lexus' eyes showed a dazzling light. No matter what face she wore, she still looked so beautiful to him. All the other ladies around seemed like walking stick figures to him and was not worth his glance at all.

October has right now been really angered by him. Added to the fact that he was showing such a cunning grin, it added oil to her fury and humiliation.

"Say it." Lexus urged as he run his fingers through her black wavy hair tenderly.

"Hubby." Her crisp voice rang and was heard clearly by all. She might be embarrassed to call him like that in this public place but she thought of it as a direct way to swat the flies flying around her husband. "Now, let's go."

Lexus was really satisfied and a smug smile hang on his devilish face. He then gave those men a provocative smile before letting hinself be dragged around by October.

As soon as the two have already walked in the distance, the people who was watching them break out into a commotion.

"My gosh! Such heaven-defying couple really do exist?" A married woman in her late forties exclaimed as she turned to her daughter.

"Mother, I want to marry that man." The daughter sighed with emotions as she looked longingly and tenderly at the wide back of the man. He was like a monarch governing all of. He was giving a really dangerous atmosphere but as soon as he laid his eyes on the woman beside her, his whole face would soften and showed his doting on the woman.

As the daughter remembered that scene, her eyes glinted with fury and pure hatred and envy. How can that woman be so lucky to gain the affections of that man? She bit her lips to the point that her lips bleed.

"Ow!" The daughter exclaimed in a pain and in surprise when her mother pinched her.

"You damn girl. Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. Just basing on the atmosphere that man was giving off, he can't be good. So stop your plans if you have any and forget about him." What's more, the mother felt like she saw these two individuals before but can't put her finger on it.

The daughter stomped her foot in displeasure as she glared at the slim back of October. If only looks could kill, she would have already killed October a thousand times. She doesn't want to give up on that man. Such a fine and majestic man was the only man she can accept as her husband.

"Let's go." The mother yanked her daughter away in a hurry as to immediately break her daughter's line of sight. Why was her daughter so spoiled like this? Where did she go wrong in raising her?

The people slowly dispersed as soon as the couple were already out of their sight. They couldn't help but sigh and thought of how perfect the two were. The woman was elegant and graceful while the man was domineering and majestic.

Soon, the social medias will be filled with this couple's picture but because of how hurried they took the picture, their faces were a little blurred but one could tell that they were stunning.
