October's face was as red as a tomato. She shrank back even more but Lexus pressed on.

With a stoic face yet red, her eyes were shining a brilliant light. She looked at him through her eyelashes and all she can see was his glinting yet doting eyes and gentle smile.

October thought about it while she pursed her red lips into a fine line. She looked up and saw her reflection in his eyes. At that instant, her heart raced a mile and a warm sensation spread from her chest then enveloping her whole body.

"Do you want me say more?" Lexus asked with a wide grin on his manly face. Hearing nothing from her, he inquired, "Shouldn't I get an answer from you too?"

Her eyes widen a little at his words. She lowered her eyes for a moment and clasped both of her hands on her lap.

So she has to say something too? Was she just digging her own grave then? However, it already happened and he answered her genuinely.

She snapped her head at him with firm eyes as she opened her petal-like lips, "I don't know you much."

Lexus was instantly taken aback. What the hell? Can she be this cold-hearted? Gradually, his face turned dark.

"You were a ruthless man. You slave off your employees. You are really cunning. I don't know how you managed to have somehow earned people who are loyal to you."

Lexus' lip twitched and his veins are almost on the verge of snapping. He almost spurt out some blood. This woman, was she trying to kill her husband from anger? He doesn't want to listen to her anymore but the damn woman still have more to say about him.

"But..." October saw his darkening expression yet he was holding himself back. She thought that it was. Her expression softened with a smile blooming on her face making it glow in luster, just mesmerizing. She reached her can and rested on his face. She can feel him stiffen and his eyes shocked. "...those were things that makes you an outstanding man and I like that about you."

"Then you gave me emotions. You let me show expressions I thought I didn't have. You make me so flustered. You make me feel anxious, annoyed. You gave me torrential feelings." October looked at him in the eyes with deep emotions, his silhouette was the only thing reflected on her eyes. "Then you gave me a home. You gave me a child. You gave me a chance to have a family. You showered me with such affections and doting."

Lexus was speechless. He can't tell if he was just hearing things or this was really real. However, the warmth on his cheek that came from her hand was enough to make him know that this was real.

"I am really grateful to you. However, I might get really selfish and greedy if you'll keep on doting on me. Knowing this, will you still like me?" Her eyes flashed an uneasy look.

Overlapping his hand on hers that rested on his cheek, he said in a domineering manner. "I'll dote on you to the point of making you go senseless." With that, you can't leave me no matter what. I glint flashed in his blue eyes and a dark smile plastered on his face.

October felt overwhelmed with emotions as her eyes seems to sting. 'I think I used up all of my luck in this life just to meet this man.'

With her eyes closed, she leaned in and kissed him. It was a fleeting kiss but sweet and filled with emotions. It was even more sweeter since October was the one who initiated the kiss. "With that, its sealed. You can't go back on your words."

"Mm. You don't need to tell me that. Even if you push me away, I'll stubbornly tie you down to stay beside me forever." Lexus declared. "If you lay your eyes on some guys, I'll dig their eyes out."

Dig their eyes? Shouldn't it be her eyes that was supposed to be blinded?

Pushing him away gently, October said softly as she nodded on the road. "Let's go. We still have to go to the market."

"Mm. Let's continue with our first date." Lexus grinned and started to drive. October's ear twitched when she heard the words 'first date.' But she didn't say anything, lest she'll ruin his mood.

After 20 minutes of driving and finding a parking space, they finally arrived at the mall. As soon as the two arrived at the entrance of the mall, they immediately gathered a lot of attention.

The people gawked at the couple who slowly made their way in the mall with their hands intertwined. The woman was elegant and graceful yet does not have any emotions on her face. She was exuding with an icey atmosphere but not enough to make the people cower at her. Instead, she gave them a soothing air in a summer breeze.

The male, on the other hand, was handsome but have a cold and devilish aura. He gave off a really bad vibe and was giving them chills out of fear; however, despite with him having such a devilish aura, people still can't help but to stop and stare at this sinful man. How can one be this handsome yet so unapproachable? Especially his dark blue eyes that were so piercing as if it can cut their flesh if his gaze landed on them and his smirk that was full of malice. However, the ladies still kept their hopes up and wanted to receive his gaze even if it kills them.

They both are cold. One would seem to really think that such people doesn't suit each other yet here they are, standing and walking in front of them. They have a really indifferent attitude too. But looking at them together, they look harmonious so much so that one could almost say that it was so perfect. Also, they have a unique atmosphere that only this couple have and this left them shiver in awe.

October's lips twitched as she immediately noticed their weird gazes. No matter what, she was not that thick-skinned. Also, she doesn't usually go to this big malls to buy her groceries so having to receive such attention from a lot of people was really uncomfortable. Just that, the man beside her didn't flinch at all and seemed to even enjoy the attention.

Lexus strolled leisurely into the mall with his hand securely holding October's. With a proud smile hanging on his lips, he welcomed their curious gazes. That's right, see how beautiful my wife is! Lexus was ecstatic.

He soon then noticed her hand to stiffen. Looking down with raised eyebrow, he softly tugged at her. Right after, she lifted her head to look at him. He saw the uneasiness in her eyes making him frown and paused.

Brushing his hand on her soft cheek, he asked worriedly, "What is it?"

October pursed her lips before saying, "They're looking at you."

Lexus immediately let out a soft chuckle making all the ladies witnessing this to almost faint and squeal.

October noticed this and her frown deepened.

"My wife, they're looking at you." Lexus smugly said. He was happy but when he saw the burning gazes from the guys while looking at his wife, he was displeased. He doesn't like their looks at all. He sent them glares making the men to shrink and look away. Some even turned to run.

Tch. Such pests dared to have some weird thoughts about his wife. They're really not afraid of dying.
