53 53 Like A Woman

The atmosphere in the kitchen was warm and soft as cotton. It was a total 180 change from how it usually was. Especially the usually cold and unapproachable Lexus, he was like a totally different person now. This was what all of the attendants in the villa noticed.

Though their young madam seem to be cold, October was not as cold as Lexus and she does not give them the air of ruthlessness or arrogance. Instead, she was polite to all, just that she does not speak much.

The intimate interactions of the two showed the people there how close they were. Even though their relationship seem to have caught them off guard, they would still respect all decisions Lexus will decide for himself.

October continued to pay no attention on Lexus when she suddenly remembered something. Swallowing the remaining food in her mouth, she turned her clear eyes on Lexus.

Noticing her pausing and stared at him, he raised his brow at her but didn't say anything and continued to eat his fill.

October was reluctant if she should tell her about it. But she has to tell him.

Looking up again, she noticed a small sauce marring the side of Lexus' lips. She reached out to grab some tissue and wiped it for him. Even if Lexus was surprised at her actions, he still welcomed it with full of smiles.

Her actions were swift. It was like she had done it a number of times and it would seem like natural to her basing of her fluid actions. In fact, October herself was surprised at her own actions. However, since she already started it, she just have to finish it and be nonchalant.

Putting tissue down, she turned her attention back on Lexus and looked at him in silence as she contemplated on things.

Seeing that she was being silent again, Lexus stopped eating and turned his full attention on October and said, "I know you have something to tell me so don't hold back."

"L-Lex, about our marriage..." October started but then pursed her lips and gazed deeply at him.

"Don't worry, we'll arrange our marriage. I'll give you the grandest one." Lexus nodded his head at her with a gloating smile.

October shook her head and continued, "That's not it. I don't need a grand wedding."

"No. I have to give you a grand one. You're a Song now. It's part of the traditions in the family." Lexus said in all seriousness but October blankly looked at him, totally not believing his nonsense.

October turned her gaze away from Lexus to play on her food for a moment but then gave her a side glance, "I slipped and told my grandpa about my sudden marriage...and about my pregnancy."

Lexus raised an eyebrow at her. According to his digging, he didn't get any information regarding her maternal grandparents. Only her paternal grandparents were known and they were already dead.

So she must be talking about her maternal grandparents.

"He was upset." October said looking at him fully now as her voice softened till it was a mumble. "He...has a complicated identity and quite eccentric so he might have looked into you at this moment and might give you some problems."

Hearing her worried words, Lexus laughed earning his a glare. Dryly coughing, he said smilingly in a teasing tone, "Don't worry, Missus. Your husband is capable."

October stared at him for a moment. Now that he was this close to her, she noticed how blue his eyes were, almost as blue as the deepest of the oceans. And his eyelashes, it was long and thick that many women will definitely be envious with and will put models to shame.

Lexus leaned closer to October to the extent were there noses touch as he teased light-heartedly, "Do I look that handsome to you?"

"Yes, you're so handsome..." October nodded making Lexus' smirk widen in but froze when he heard her following words. "...handsome that you looked like a gorgeous woman."

Lexus' face darkened and his lips twitched. He can't believe that someone just said that he looked like a woman. And it was even into his face and with all seriousness.

What's more infuriating was that it was his wife's words! This was unforgivable.

October felt a chill run down her spine. She quickly turned to Lexus only to crash into his piercing hot gaze. She unconsciously moved back from him only to be stopped almost instantaneously by his iron-like hold on her waist.

"Do you really like making fun of your husband? Mm?" Lexus asked in his deep and gruff voice dripped with his venomous poison. To be told that he was like a woman, his pride as a man was touched.

October shuddered and an alarm flashed through her eyes. She pushed him away but he didn't budge and so desperately shook her head.

Lexus darkly laughed but how can he let her off like this? With a sign from his hand, all the attendants in the kitchen bowed and hurriedly went of out the kitchen silently without forgetting to close the door.

Noticing this, October began to panic again as a frown had now formed on her delicate face.

"I think I should make you remember that your husband really is a man." A dark and hot glint flashed through his eyes when he uttered these words. He slowly trailed his hands from his thighs up to her back as he took a mouthful of her scent.

The kitchen room were starting to get hot.

Bang!

The kitchen's door opened slammed open, making October sigh in relief but Lexus was displeased. He glare dangerously at the person who suddenly barged in and stopped his advances. His gaze were filled with so much venom and killing intent.

The person by the door froze and gaped at the sight before him. And then, noticing a burning gaze boring hole on his head, he turned to look at Lexus and immediately flinched.

Assistant Yu swallowed the lump forming in his throat and wiped his cold sweat off his forehead. He was in hurry to come here and just randomly grabbed someone to ask where his boss was but why didn't they tell him that they were doing something like this in the kitchen?

Assistant Yu wanted to cry. He felt so wronged.

Looking at his boss' furious gaze, he knew that he will some punishment later. How can his life be this difficult? Did he have some huge debt from this man in his previous life to be serving him like this and being tortured in the process? Ah, he wanted to run away.

October's face were now tinged with a pink glow as she fixed herself and sat straight.

"If you don't have anything to say, get out." Lexus' cold voice that seemed like it came from hell boomed and reverberated in the kitchen. Assistant instantly shivered in fear.
