"Well then, let's go?" Madam Zhou said as she tugged one of October's hand and pulled her toward the entrance. Seeing his wife excited like this, President Zhou was not sure if he would be happy or sad about this. He was just literally been left out by his own cute wife. Somehow, he was a bit jealous of October who was gaining a lot of attention from his wife. He looked at his wife with a cunning smile as he followed them inside. Maybe, he will have to "remind" his wife about him when they get home.

Handing out their invitation letters on the receptionist, October had to go to the ladies room. This was just an excuse she made in order for her to get away from Madam Zhou. She thought that she may not be that dense after all because she can feel the burning eyes filled with jealousy that was directed at her. Also, she was quite taken aback by how such a charming woman completely ignored her iciness and stiffness that is why she really doesn't know how to deal with her. As she was so preoccupied with Madam Zhou, she was not able to notice that Liu Chen have already taken his leave.

October made her way into the ladies room while also making sure that she keeping herself low key. Contrary to that, she was instead gathering a lot of attention especially from the men. Even if she was walking fast, it was still a walk full of confidence and elegance as she straightened her back and her head held high without even casting them even just fleeting glance. It was like she was not putting them in her eyes.

"Do you know who that lady is?" Someone on the side asked his other companion without averting his eyes from October. What was even more intriguing about her that cold and expressionless face she always had that seemed like it never show any emotions but was still beautiful. Such a woman was unique for them.

"No, I don't." The companion replied as he also continued to stare at October's back.

They were right. She was not at all looking at anyone and would just pass by them like a breeze. Right now, she doesn't know if getting here was a good idea but she can't turn back now. She at least need to wait for them to arrive before escaping from here. It was also a relief to her that she was still not able to bump into someone who may recognize her. She really felt like she was a total outsider from her.

October looked around for a moment and a thought suddenly popped in her mind. She has never experienced such parties before where her father arranged for her. Why did they even want her to be here? After years of not seeing each other, how will her father look right now?

October passed by the ladies room and instead found herself a seat in a far corner and sat. Since they have invited her here, she at least need to pay respects to her father. With this, she might as well look at her younger brother. Who does he look like more?

Getting her phone out from her clutch bag, she looked into the internet and checked the market. She scanned on it and, after a moment of thinking, she opened the company's web page. October immediately regretted her decision as she was instantly flooded with a lot of pictures of herself. Although she know now that Yun Xixi has been taking pictures of her in secret, she didn't know it was to this extent.

Even when she was just reading documents that she always do, Yun Xixi had taken a few pictures of her. For such a long time, her secretary has been able to take a lot of her pictures. Should she comment her secretary? No, that's even more like she was saying that she should continue it. However, now that she was already aware about it, she might still be oblivious of when Yun Xixi will take another photo of her.

There were also other pictures posted on it, like pictures of the other directors. However, it was still too little to count compared to hers. Why is that?

October was scanning through her phone when she noticed that someone stopped beside her. Looking up, she saw a woman standing with her one hand rested on her hips dressed in a fiery red dress full of glitters that showed her curves on right places. . That woman was also looking down at October thoughtfully.

"Who is this, Meixiu?" The woman beside the woman in red asked as she gave October a look of contempt of jealousy.

Meixiu blinked her eyes and said, "It's been a while, Lanna."

The woman beside Meixiu looked at her with a questioning look however Meixiu did not spare her even a glance and just kept her gaze on the woman in black dress sitting in front of her.

October blankly looked back at Meixiu and coldly asked cautiously, "Who are you?" Only a very few people would call her that name.

Meixiu's face immediately turned red in embarrassment but still kept her poise in check as she adjusted her emotions while flinging her straight hair out into the back. "Hmph! Don't act all high and mighty on me now, heiress of the Park family."

The woman beside Meixiu stood frozen when she heard her say. She looked at October again and thought, 'So this was the eldest daughter of the Park family that left her home due to being heartbroken?'

October's eyes flickered as her suspicious eyes looked at Meixiu and thought for a moment before saying, "Bo Meixiu."

Meixiu smirked and looked at October from to head to toe then back, "You're still as boring-looking as always."

October, having to hear it, still didn't make any reaction and just continued to blankly stare at Meixiu. She thought that this spoiled princess somehow still remembers her which was really surprising. She doesn't seem to have any memory of being acquainted with her.

To Meixiu, this stare was like a thorn pricking her skin till it bleed. She knew that this woman sitting in front of her does not see her as a rival. Even when they were in university, she competed with her in terms of academics and beauty but this person effortlessly stood out from the rest but still remained indifferent to it all. It was really frustrating for her who has given all her effort in wanting to achieve it that was why when she heard about what happened to October, she was very surprised about it.

However, right now, Meixiu has already acknowledge that she was lacking in a lot of things but she still can't accept that such a cold woman was still beautiful than more but still seemed oblivious about it all. It was really frustrating.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. May we all welcome Peizhi Park and his son Longwei Park. Applause." A loud voice suddenly announced on stage making all heads turn to the family that was coming up on stage.
