Elise was sulking on her seat. She really was not that angry about it though. It was just too sudden that she was not able to wrap her head around it. 

She turned to look at Lexus and was again reminded that the man before was a devil in an angel's skin. Still, it was a waste not to savor this moment of feasting on a good-looking guy. This does not happen all the time ah.

"Brother-in-law, I'm Elise. I am October's best friend. Nice to have finally meet you." She said while grinning before extending her hand to shake. 

One second...two seconds...three seconds...

Elise had her hand extended for quite some time but the man who was supposed to accept her hand was not taking it to shake. Heck, he did not even spare a glance at her nor made any movements. He just curtly nodded his head as if to show the acknowledgement of her presence.
