24 WEEKEND VIBE {V}

Chen Qing couldn't take it anymore, she cleared her throat and spoke up. "We are sorry for asking a lot of silly question brother Zhao and..."

"Desist from calling me brother." Zhaolin interrupted her halfway as he took another sip of the wine he called too sweet.

"Young master Zhao..." Chen Qing paused before continuing. "We both are deeply sorry for questioning you and history won't repeat itself."

"Yes." Cui Yao added and sat down awkwardly on her sit. Dai Jingyao poured them both the wine.

The booth quieted down and suddenly a phone rang and everyone turned to Zhaolin. He took out his phone and saw the display. 'Home' He didn't hesitate and picked it up.

His answers short and brief.

"Yes."

"Not home."

"Busy and can't make it."

Li Xiangyang and Dai Jingyao shared a glance and turned back to look at him. Zhaolin hung up and caught the two men staring at him.

"What are you two looking at?"

"Nothing." They answered in unison.

Shiya paced to and fro in the spacious living room. The aura surrounding her was shrouded in darkness and anger. It was pitch black in the living room and she bit her fingernails furiously. It's weekend and she knew he worked on Saturdays but it was late already and she have tried reaching him but it wasn't going through. The maids hid away in the corner of the room not wanting to touch the lion's tail.

"Ouch!!!" Her knee hit the table's edge and she wailed. "F*ck!" She swore. "Where are you?!?" She knew they were watching her. They always did and she didn't care.

"Here ma'am." The head maid said, rushing forward with the first aid box in hand.

At that moment a car zoomed into the compound and she waved the maid off.She stood up immediately almost loosing her balance but that didn't deter her and she moved away from the couch and waited patiently for him to come in. She watched him from the side and heaved a sigh of relief. 'This is her man, whether the world agreed with her or not.'

He hanged his suit and was about to walk off when she ran up to him forgetting the injury on her knee part, she made sure to slam her chest against his back. His masculine scent filled her nostrils and she used her nose to rub his body in a seductive way. She moved her hands from his waist to his chest and felt every inch of his abs. The temperature in the room dropped and she knew why but she wasn't going to chicken out.

"Ah'Zhao...I was so worried..."

Zhaolin left the Club in a happy mood.He drove recklessly on the empty road with one of his hand on the steering wheel and the other outside the window hanging lazily. He arrived home in no time and strode in with a hand in his trouser pocket. He pushed the door open and walked in majestically. He went to the cloth stand in the living room and hanged his suit jacket. He was about to walk off when a pair of slender hands wrapped his waist and he stiffened.

'Another trouble' He thought. He had just dealt with her friends and now her...She hand-raped his body and his whole mood turned sour. He gently turned around and looked down on her... She had her head bowed to avoid his fierce gaze.

He took her hands and clasped them together in an apologetic manner. "It's late. Go to bed." She knew it wasn't a plea but a command. "Ah'Zhao..." She paused, "You're so late and already in a bad mood."

The man turned and left her feeling dejected. This feeling of despair was enveloping her and she can't do anything about it. She watched him walkaway and felt her soul leaving her but what could she do?

In the same building a door was slightly open and everything that happened was seen by the person hiding behind the door. He closed the door patiently and jumped on his bed, a smile hanging on his face.

Back at the Xings family manor, the atmosphere was lively. Xiaocan refused letting Feng Jiu return home. The maids prepared two guest rooms for the Fengs, while Feng Riu was in grandfather's study playing chess with the old man. Xing Rongbo didn't want to return to his room and stayed to watch his father and son play chess. He was scared of being questioned by his wife. Grandpa noticed his discomfort and decided to annoy him more. "I wonder what type of a man will keep a very big secret from his wife and expect to be safe after doing that..."

Rongbo: "..."

"You should have maned up to it and told her the truth even if it will take her time to heal, it's better than lying for complete 7years..." Grandpa paused and looked in the direction of his son, before continuing. "I've never lied to my wife... Your mother." The last sentence struck Feng Riu and he looked in-between his grandfather and father. 'Are they having a fit?'

"Father, were you sent to taunt me?" Rongbo asked as his face turned livid.

"Why would I taunt my very own son?" Grandpa answered with another question. "Go explain things to her... Go... Go now."

"Yes father. Goodnight son... Goodnight father." Grandpa nodded at him.

Riu: "Goodnight father."

Xiaocan took a pair of pajamas to Jiu's room, she inspected the room making sure it was neat with no dust. She left the bedroom and went to the bedroom she shared with her husband.

When she walked in she saw her husband pacing the room. "What is wrong? Are you OK?" She strode towards him and used the back of her palm to touch his forehead. Rongbo flinched at her touch not knowing how to explain himself, "Erm...I should have told you but I thought it would make you worry more so I held onto it. I'm..."

"Yes, I'm angry but I still understand you..." She interrupted him, "She's back now. Safe and sound and that's all that matters!!! Jiu is a woman and deserves her own life just like we are living ours, I will ask her more about her experience overseas so I will feel more at ease. Now let's go to bed." Xiaocan was intelligent enough to understand another fellow woman.

Rongbo heaved a sigh of relief.
