"Ru...Ruqin'er?" His voice was hoarse. He was confused. What is she doing here?

He tried to sit up but couldn't. He could only watch as tears trickled down his daughter's face. He slowly stretched out his hand. It hurt from resting against the hard floor.

He wasn't the only confused one, Ruqin was baffled. He had gone on a mission. "Fa... Fa..." More tears streamed down her face.

Dasheng squinted his eyes. He was tired of watching the big show. He glanced at the guard posted for the man. He made communication with the man and he bowed. 

"Let's go," he motioned for the guard that he took along to take Ruqin.

"What are you doing here?" Ruqin asked after taking a deep breath to calm herself. "What are you doing here? Where are your men?"

The man closed his eyes as he writhed in pain.

"Ru..." It was getting hard to talk.

"Don't say anything," Ruqin waved her hand. "Don't try to speak, please."
