66 IS THIS FATE?

Fifty minutes later, Qiangshen came out and saw Yuxi sleeping with her lips parted a bit.

Disgusting! How can she sleep so soundly in her first time coming here? 

He went closer and shook her with a finger. 

She didn't move.

He shook her again. Still she didn't move.

He eyed her dangerously. Really? She's truly disgusting! Sleeping in an unknown place, so soundly at that? She sure has some guts!

At her forehead perched a mosquito, it was so close to her hair that it was almost invisible.

He took a closer look and hit it! 

"Auch!" Yuxi immediately sat up. "What kind of a human are you? To think you would rather hit me to wake me up…" She wasn't done talking when he stood up and walked out of the room. "Hunh? Jerk!" She quickly got up and followed behind.

Outside she almost had a heart attack when she didn't see the car but then the driver strode up to her, directing her to the car. "Why did you pack this far from the building?"

"It's something we usually do for the main gate not to be locked out on us." The driver answered politely.

Inside the car, "Tell me where to drop you at," the driver said to Yuxi.

"Just drop me at the bus station and I will get home myself!" 

Meanwhile by her side Qiangshen was sitting with his eyes closed. He looked so quiet you'd think he was sleeping. "Sir, where should I meet you tomorrow?" Yuxi turned to him.

He barely moved nor answered her.

"I'll come pick you up, give me your address." The driver answered.

"Oh really?" She asked, surprised.

"Yes. And tomorrow we will officiate the contract so please drop your mobile number so as to wake you in time to prepare,"

"No, no no. Don't worry about the time. I will make sure to keep to it. Give me a paper."

He passed her one with pen. Yuxi wrote their address on it and gave it back to the driver.

When he saw the address he showed a look of surprise, "You live in a hotel?" He was well familiar with that address but her living there means she works at the hotel.

"Yes yes. Do you have any problem?"

"No. You work at the hotel too?"

Oh, that's what he's surprised about. "No, my sister does."

He nodded and said nothing more, focusing more on driving.

Qiangshen stirred a bit and she turned to look at him. He opened his bloodshot eyes and she frowned. "Don't tell me you have not been sleeping," Yuxi stated.

"Me? Hehe. I do..."

"Not you." Yuxi said to the driver. "Him,"

"Hunh?" The driver looked back through the rear morrow. She speaks to the master anyhow she pleases. She really must not know who he is... "He does sleep. It's just that he has a project at have to finish. That's all." 

After the driver's reply, Yuxi turned to look at the road, the passing cars and people walking by. She didn't realize it was taking long to get to the bus station until they drove past the hotel's main gate. "Hunh?"

In five minutes they stopped in front of the hotel apartment. The driver got down to open Yuxi's door and ran over to open Qiangshen's. 

Qiangshen didn't look a bit surprised, he had heard their whole conversation. She truly lives in the hotel? I wonder how grandma bumped into her. He didn't believe the old woman's cooked up story. What if? This Yuxi had bumped into granny on purpose, helped her and asked to be helped in return. And she has to pretend she doesn't know me.

"Bye," Yuxi waved at the two men and strode to their apartment. Meanwhile the driver and Qiangshen stood patiently waiting for her to go in before leaving the premises.

"Good news, good news!" Yuxi immediately announced when she got in. 

Shihuan had Qingran in his arm trying to pet her to sleep. Qingran peeked and saw it was Yuxi and immediately got down to run to her. 

"Yes baby, muah." Yuxi picked her up and gave her a very loud kiss. Qingran giggled and pecked her back.

"You look very excited," Shihuan commented.

"Yes. I'm excited! My belly is filled with excitement! Yay!" Yuxi answered truthfully.

Everyone else came out. 

"Father, mother, Xueyan, Shihuan and my little princess, I got a job!"

"Good good," Mr Bai said.

"Oh my child, that's very good!" Mrs Bai chimed in.

"Interesting! In a company with a lot of computer experts, right?" Shihuan asked.

"No, no. I'm just an ordinary assistant." 

The smile on her face dissipated.

"Oh no! What do you mean by an ordinary assistant? You can't call being an assistant ordinary." Mrs Bai immediately coaxed.

"Yes, look I'm a housekeeper but you? You are meant to assist someone. Which I'm very sure isn't ordinary."

Yuxi thought about that and smiled, "You are right. And I get to choose how much I'm paid. The contract will be signed tomorrow."

"Wow! You are not just any ordinary assistant then. She must be so wealthy that she doesn't care how much you demand," Mr Bai assumpted.

"It's a he," Yuxi corrected hey father's assumption.

"Whomever it may be. I pray you aren't given tough time at work." Mrs Bai said with all smiles.

"Congratulations!" Shihuan said. "Genuinely, things will turn out good for us!" 

"Alright alright. Come have your dinner." Mrs Bai urged forward.

After she was done eating, she went inside their shared room to see Xueyan tucking Qingran into bed. "Asleep already?" 

"Yes," Xueyan answered.

"Uhm, I bumped into that young man." 

Xueyan's smile dimmed a bit, "What young man?"

"I think I remember now, he must have been your friend in highschool. Young Master Zhao."

Now the smile disappeared. "Is he the one you work for?" 

"No, no. I don't know how he's related to my employer but he called my employer's grandma granny."

"Yichen? Is that him?" Xueyan asked.

"No, Qiangshen. He's very arrogant and annoying. I happened to fall asleep and he had to hit me to wake me up." Yuxi mumbled something and went to change.

Why? I happen to be working in their hotel and now she's working for one of them too. Is this fate? Or a big joke?
