The father and son pair searched the first floor when they arrived and found out Xueyan wasn't home.

Rongbo's eyes lifted to the staircase and he found Zhihao staring down at them while someone else was hiding behind him.

"It's my grandpa," Zhihao spun around to inform the person behind him.

And he saw her poke her little head out. Her big eyes gleamed, and the man couldn't tell if it was from relief or mischief.

"Ah'Zhi?" He endearingly called out. 

Zhihao grabbed Qingran's hand and they took their time with the stairs.

"How do you know our new home?" Zhihao questioned.

A smile found it's way to Rongbo's face as he couldn't take his eyes off the hand holding the little girl's then it travelled up to her face.

"Grandpa?" Zhihao called out for his attention.

"Ye... Yes," Rongbo stammered. 

"How did you find our new home?" Zhihao was bent on finding out how the man found their new home.

"I'm with your daddy."
