18 HER WISHFUL THINKING

"The main reason why the new car brand managed to hog the spotlight was because one of our very own gave the information out... Selling our company for a penny, not only that but also wants to steal our capable staffs for himself if anything was bound to happen..." He paused and sighed. He raised a file and looked intently on it before smiling again. "We've found out who is leaking information and also who the CEO of the new car brand is but before that I'd like him to get up and say it out himself." He swept his eyes once more around the room as everyone started murmuring, he watched as his boss twirled a tennis ball in his hand and wondered to himself where the hell he got it from. Zhaolin who was seated comfortably on his chair played with the tennis ball Zhihao had passed to him inside the elevator.

"What nonsense is all this?!?" Jingze barked. This uncle of his sure knows how to lose his temper alot. Jingze turned to Zhaolin and watched as the latter stared nonstop at the little ball in his hand.

"Jiang, just say who it is already." Jiayi said.

"Ok, since there was enough time but he couldn't muster up the courage...I will help him."

The shareholders looked at themselves and felt like it was someone's doom.  "We've decided that we will be suing the Sheng group of companies with the sum of One Billion dollars. That should be enough for the damage caused..." Everyone gasped and Jingze felt himself relax.

"Come in." Secretary Jiang said and a man in black suit walked in. "This is the Four Wheels company lawyer, Mr Augustus Ming." He introduced the man.

"I'm Augustus Ming and I'm here to represent the company... The Sheng group of companies which just emerged out of nowhere has been proven to be a company under Mr Long Tian that is seating among us all here." The shareholders turned their sharp eyes to Long Tian who was already sweating in his palm. "Sheng is the name of his last son and he tried to use it and deceive the foolish ones not intelligent men like us. Now The FW is suing Mr Long Tian of a billion dollar for leaking out the information of the new car." He walked up to Long Tian and passed him a file which the latter couldn't touch because of his trembling hands. If anyone had told him he'd be discovered so easily he would have surely laughed out loud at the person.

Two men in uniform walked into the office, "Mr Long you've to come with us alongside your assistant Mr Iris." 'this is a man which has been nurtured by his father and he dared betray them.' Jingze shook his head at that painful thought.

"Insolent." Jiayi cursed out.

"How dare you call me that?" Long Tian asked, as if he'd lost his senses he charged at the lawyer but was blocked off by the securities. "You can't arrest me Zhaolin... you're in no position to, this fight is between me and your father... Yes I can't fight you, you're just a mere child!!!" Long Tian cackled.

Zhaolin was in the midst of throwing up the little ball when he heard Long Tian comment, he stopped and turned to Long Tian with his eyes devoid of any expression. "You're no match for me and you think you can compete with my father... This is the best joke I've ever heard in my entire life." Everyone watched with respect. Jingze looked down at his feet and a smile appeared on his always angry face. Jiayi sighed out of relief and turned to see her husband flashing her his thirty-two tooth, she smiled back at him. The men in uniform dragged Long Tian out of the room alongside his accomplice.

At Zhaolin's residence. Shiya was in the midst of dolling herself up when her phone suddenly rang, she looked at the caller and hesitated before picking up the call. "Mother,"

"Shiya what is going on? If this continues your father will loose the election and my son in-law will loose his face and..."

"What nonsense are you speaking?"

"Nonsense? I'm your mother Shiya not your pet,"

"I'm sorry mother, why don't you just go straight to the point instead of telling me my husband will loose his face."

"Yes, don't you read the papers? You haven't seen the headlines yet? You're his wife and when he needs you to give him all your attention you're busy with something else..."

"Mother please don't beat around the bush."

"That wasn't my intention In the first place... The new car idea was leaked and now? Everyone is busy blaming my son in-law for being careless and..."

"What!?" Shiya interrupted her mother, Zhaolin had been busy working on the new car and preparing for the launch party, she was meant to be there alongside him at the party. Who would dare disrupt her husband's plan and her plan as well? No this sounds untrue, no way! No way! She hung up on her mother and dialed Zhaolin's number. It rang twice before it was picked from the other end. "Hello?" Secretary Jiang voice came through."Pass my husband the phone!" Shiya commanded. Secretary Jiang turned to his boss, and held onto the phone speaker. "Sir, It's young madam on the phone."

Zhaolin took the phone and put it on loud speaker, "Hello," his voice came through and she forgot for a moment what she had called him for. His voice wasn't so audible, he was always cool and patient while on the phone, she leaned onto the phone and wished it was him she was leaning onto, the smile on her face brightened up. Secretary Jiang wondered what was taking her long to speak, he was about to say something when Zhaolin looked up at him and he shut it immediately. Zhaolin cleared his throat trying to let her know time was ticking by(and I believe time is money^_^).

"I heard that things in the company are not so good and the car..."

"It's been settled already now I've to go." Zhihao who just entered the office heard Shiya's voice and scowled.
