15 HAPPINESS

At the bus station. Due to happiness Bai Xueyan forgot what time it was.

She was happy, happy because she has gotten the job, happy because her daughter has gotten free education.

There's no word to describe how she was feeling at the moment. She was elated, she couldn't wait to get home to announce the good news to her family. Qingran would be the happiest—she looked around the bus station and nodded at the beautiful surrounding, it looked magnificent.

The smile on her face beamed as her eyes glistened. She would call her father and give him the good news so his worries about her would decrease a bit.

Finally the bus arrived and she boarded it. 'Today was remarkable! A great day to be happy!'

He came out of his grandfather's office to see his mother smiling, it wasn't a real smile but a fake one trying to hide her worry. He breathed in heavily as he climbed down the stairs.

He took her hand and walked her to the nearest room.

"What is your problem? Why are you all so worried over a little thing?"

"Over a little thing? All these years no one believed in you or your capabilities because of... how you lived your life. This was going to make everyone turn to you and bow down at your feet and say that 'truly you've the blood of the Xing's running through your vein... But the story has changed and now people will once more look at you with a scornful look."

"Ahhh," He tried not to yell. "What is your problem? You too? Why can't you just believe in me? If you trust me then I wouldn't care what the world thought of me!" Zhaolin was boiling with anger.

"I trust you more than I trust myself... Your father trusts you too! Now prove your worth to the world!!"

"I will! Just sit and watch it all unfold, for now take care of grandpa."

"Sure I will... You are my son and it breaks my heart to know how the world views you... Go home now Zhihao must be alone."

She turned her back on him to wipe the tears that was about to cascade down her face. He held onto her shoulder and turned her to face him, "Look after yourself also, I will take my leave now." He wiped her face with his thumb and left.

The grandmother who just discovered that Zhaolin was home from the Butler came rushing down the staircase, "Zhao? Where's he? Zhao? Can'er... Where's he?" grandma Xing asked looking around.

"He left, mother..." Xiao Can paused.

"Why? Doesn't he know I'm around?"

Grandpa Xing: "Of course he knows that but he has important things to attend to, that's why he left in a hurry."

Grandma Xing: "But..." Word failed her.

Beijing...

In a not too far away city, a group of young talented boys were busy making shoots. As the cheer rang out, deafening the ears of everyone nearby.

"Look he's so handsome... aww." The first girl said.

"Wow! look at that perfect move." Another girl said.

"The game is so fun even without any of the team scoring... hahahahha." Another one said.

A young boy of twenty years old, with his jet black hair laid back with a head band. He stood erect, his aura was different compared to anyone else in the court. His noble features will make you think he comes from an Aristocrat family.

His crescent moon eyes spoke about nothing but 'True beauty'. He stood in the middle, swirling the ball in his hand, he flashed his most charming smile which was his most powerful weapon.

He looked at the time and discovered they were all going to loose—with a swift move he went flying in the air, he dropped the ball into the hoop scoring a pointer, it happened in a blink of an eye that no one knew how to react.

The other team had their jaws dropped, the girls were in bewilderment.

Then a guy from the same team jumped in the air shouting, "Yes!!! We won!!! And that is Bai Shihuan"

The girls recovered from their state of shock and started cheering, more like bellowing.

"Team B wins the game!"The referee announced.

"Yes! Huan did it!"

"OMG! I'm going to marry you, Huan."

"This is amazing, I love you darling!"

The boy who jolted the fans out of their shocked state strolled towards Shihuan who was smiling and dressing his hair in the mirror.

The game was now over.

"What a swift move dude... you're amazing. Allow this lowly servant to bow at your feet!"

He made a gesture of bowing but Shi Huan caught him in time, "What nonsense are you spouting? We were just taking a round and I did my part bro... tell me, how was it?"

"You need not ask more...I think we will be chosen." He said adjusting the invisible collar of his shirt.

"Yunyi we have been waiting for this opportunity..." If only eyes had powers, then the mirror he was staring into would come crashing to pieces.

"For a very long time, and they think we will back down? Just like that?"

"Haha, no way," another voice said.

"It's high time we prove our worth or we will become the laughing stock of this city." The voice belonged to Wan Feng.

"Huan, Yunyi, Wan Feng, Zou Xi and Shui Han... you all have made me proud." Their coach said approaching them with his arms spread.

He hugged each of them, patting and comforting them.

They strode out of the court with Yunyi bouncing the ball on the alleyway, but then someone scooped the ball up.

"What a move you made just now... you had everyone screaming your name." Another young boy of the same age said as he rested his back and a leg on the wall.

The smile on Yunyi face disappeared, he took a step forward but someone pulled him back with great force.

"Don't act rash." Shihuan whispered into his ear, patting him on the chest he gave a side glance at Wan Feng the latter understood and held onto Yunyi.

"Do you want a rematch, to prove how worthless you are?" Shihuan stated firmly.
