The day had gone dark when Xueyan got home with the children.

She strode towards the two children with a plate of fresh washed fruits in hand, placed it down on the table and watched as they got up to go wash their hands.

As they returned, Zhihao grabbed a carrot while Qingran picked up strawberries.

She left them to go prepare dinner.

After some minutes, Xueyan was done with the dinner. She called Allen Yen in, so he'd pick up their dinner while she chose oatmeal for herself and the children, added lots of milk, raspberries as well as blueberries to the plates and served.

Xueyan joined them to eat too. Her eyes kept darting about between the two children while a smile lingered on her face.

"Do you like it?" She couldn't help but ask.

"Yes," Qingran said first.
