Zhaolin didn't eat much as his eyes kept moving in-between his wristwatch and the plate in front of him.

"Xiaozhao," Xiaocan called out to him sweetly, then pushed a plate of seafood platter to him and urged him to open his mouth as she held a shrimp in-between her chopsticks.

Zhaolin did just that and the sweet and savory taste immediately filled him up.

Since he was a lover of seafood, he tasted everything on the plate then downed a glass of water.

"Honey?" Rongbo had been watching Zhaolin the whole time, so he said to his wife. "I think Zhaolin should go to the corporation now, or he might be too late and stressed out by the time the party starts."

"Okay, you can go now." Xiaocan beamed. Though her heart was still tugging at her, she was at least happy that Zhaolin had eaten her food.
