2 Chapter 001: Rebirth

Nora peeled her eyes open and immediately closed it again due to the bright lights.

She reopened it when her eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room. She was so shocked she almost wet herself when she noticed her surroundings. Different thoughts swirled in her head.

'Why am I in my room?'

'Didn't I die?'

She stood up and walked to the mirror. She was shocked at what she saw. There was no scar on her body. No burn marks.

She tried to be calm but, hell, there was too much information she needs to get into her head. She picked up her phone from the table and checked the date.

It was the third month of year 2001. She felt as if she was dreaming. As she sat down, she realized she had gotten a second chance. She was so happy she could cry. A second chance which she would not waste. She promised herself she would take revenge on Anna, but first she had to tell her friends about the good news. As she was about to stand up, something hit her.

She was reborn into the past and her friends couldn't know about that because they did not experience it, so she could not tell them.

She turned on her phone and looked at her wallpaper. Right there, is the picture of her beloved, her fiancée .

She stood up from the bed, her eyes filled with determination. She would make use of this opportunity to turn a new leaf, and apologize to her parents for all her misdeeds. She would also make sure she spends more time with her fiancée who pampered her to the extreme.

In the past, she had taken his love for granted and used it against him, she blamed herself for being foolish, but now that she had a second chance, she will amend all her ways.

She went to the dining hall for her breakfast and met her family sitting, waiting for her.

She was touched by this and tears gathered in her eyes. She remembered clearly in her past life that she had caused her parents death and due to the trauma of all the incidents happening around him, her brother committed suicide.

While she was standing and in a daze, her parents thought something had happened to her. They were worried and they quickly stood up to meet her.

"My dear, what's the problem? Why are you crying?"

Her mother's caring words only made her cry harder. She felt that she was really foolish not to recognize her parents love for her.

Nora's mother, Lola looked at her husband worriedly. Her elder brother also wondered what was wrong with her.

Nora managed to calm herself down and she looked at her parents.

"Mom... Dad... I.." she tried but she could not get the words out of her mouth.

Lola embraced her daughter "Don't force yourself to talk if you can't"

"No. Mom, Dad..... I'm sorry" she said.

Lola and her husband, Leo stared at each other, confused.

"My dear, you haven't done anything wrong" Leo said, looking at his daughter tenderly.

Nora shook her head. "I have done a lot of things wrong. I apologize for all...my past behaviors. I was rude.... unforgiving and... an embarrassment to our family. I have sinned. Please.... Mom, Dad, Elder brother, forgive me" Nora said, sobbing silently.

Lola stared at her husband and son, shocked at the turn of events.
