24 There is no way you are applying that on my face!

Robert shifted his glasses and looked up with his piercing blue eyes. The woman in front of him was completely oblivious to his gaze.

Hailing from a wealthy and aristocratic family, he was not quite fond of the unnecessary attention and the lack of privacy, which came along with his lifestyle.

So whenever possible, he liked to stay under the radar and out of the spotlight. To date, he personally hasn't appeared in any press conferences or any other broadcasts.

His dad and his uncle were still the face of the company.

Though many people were familiar with his name, few knew how he looked.

That's precisely why he was able to stand in a luxury mall in the middle of the day without people swarming around him.

And also why he was starting to get mildly annoyed with Su Lin's actions.

But soon he noticed that something weird was going on. It was not him who was being stared at ...

Rather, the woman in front of him was engrossed in observing the makeup artist's actions and she completely ignored him.

Amused, Robert chuckled and continued tapping away at his phone.

Robert might not mind her presence but the makeup artist was visibly getting uneasier by the second.

This was her big day and she cursed Su Lin for being a nuisance. She helplessly signaled her manager and the man rushed over to talk to Su Lin.

The manager keenly noticed that Mr. Robert himself was not disturbed or annoyed by Su Lin. So, he tactfully decided to use a lighter approach, instead of directly throwing her out.

"Hi there, Miss. We have a sale going on in the next section. How about you come with me for some free samples?" The manager gently asked Su Lin with a warm smile and a polite attitude.

But unfortunately for him, Su Lin was completely engrossed and failed to hear him or even notice his presence.

The manager's face slightly reddened in embarrassment, but the man didn't give up.

He cleared his throat and politely asked again. "Hello. If you are interested we can have another makeup artist work on you for completely free!!"

"We will even be using all named brands while styling."

But again... No response...

Amused at the scene playing out in front of him, Robert chuckled. He was sure that this woman was going to be thrown out once they leave.

On a whim, he casually tapped on Su Lin's shoulders, to get her attention and she finally noticed the other people near her.

The store manager didn't let this chance go and immediately asked her.

"Hello. If you are interested we can have another makeup artist work on you for completely free!! We will even be using all named brands while styling."

"Hmm?" Now that she heard the manager, her interest was peaked and she nodded her head.

She followed the store manager and walked over to the next station.

And Robert watching them walk away, went back to his work smiling.

Once they were out of that zone, the manager sighed in relief and casually asked another makeup artist to work on her. He didn't want to go back on his word and create any scene.

Though it was not directly related to Mr. Robert's sister, the makeup artist was still excited to be working on someone.

There was a chance Mr. Robert could cross them and notice her artwork as well. She might not be as talented as her friend, but she was still quite good.

Su Lin excitedly looked at all the new things in front of her. The makeup artist seated her on a comfortable chair in front of the mirror and wrapped her neck with a towel.

The artist then grabbed some basic facial cleanser and decided to start with cleansing Su Lin's face first.

But before the makeup artist could even touch Su Lin's face, she abruptly stopped her and asked, "Can I first see the product you are using?"

The makeup artist was not surprised. This is something people usually asked her for.

She politely handed over the small tube of facial cleanser that she was planning on using.

Su Lin however, did not return her politeness. She squeezed the tube generously and messed around with the paste that spilt out of the tube.

It did not have a complex composition and Su Lin could immediately get a sense of the components, or at least the effect it might potentially have on her skin.

Even that small amount of cleanser would probably give her a harsh and rough feeling on the skin. The very thought made Su Lin cringe with disapproval.

She could only imagine what the long term use of a product like this would do to her skin!

Watching her face contort with weird expressions, the makeup artist grabbed the cleanser tube back.

She didn't want to spend too much time on this free loader and started to apply the cleanser on Su Lin's face.

However, Su Lin immediately stopped her and got up from her chair, as if her life depended on it.

"Oh honey, there is no way you are applying that on my face." She chuckled and quietly walked away.

The makeup artist was completely surprised. She stared at the eccentric woman blankly. She just could not understand why a freeloader would refuse a famous named brand?

Noticing the disturbance, the manager sighed and walked over to them. But seeing that Su Lin was quietly walking away, he sighed again and ignored the whole fiasco.

But unfortunately for the manager, the fiasco was not over yet.

Robert noticed Su Lin walking out the door and he couldn't help but wonder why she was leaving this early, and that too without any makeup on her face.
